His heart tightened, but thanks to his sharp combat instincts honed through countless battles, he reacted instantly.
In the blink of an eye, he shot out his right hand. His fingers curled like claws as he caught Caulifla's punch with lightning speed.
However, Caulifla was clearly no pushover either. The instant her fist was seized, it erupted with a dazzling radiance.
A deafening roar exploded through the air.

There was a thunderous explosion as the two energy blasts collided head-on. The immense impact triggered a massive detonation, with flames soaring into the sky and smoke engulfing the battlefield.
The overwhelming recoil forced both fighters backwards, their feet carving deep trenches into the ground as they went.
At that moment, two dragon-like streams of energy appeared in the sky, twisting around each other in fierce opposition; neither was willing to yield even a single step.
But the very next second, something unexpected happened.
The power of Caulifla's energy blast suddenly weakened dramatically.
At the same time, her body began to change.
Her Super Saiyan 3 form gradually disappeared.
Ultimately, she reverted to her base form.
It all happened so quickly that she had no idea what was going on.
