For a brief moment, time itself seemed to stand still. A trace of surprise flashed across Super Broly's face. The Saiyan from Universe 6 had truly exceeded his expectations.
To Super Broly, there should have been an enormous gap between an ordinary Super Saiyan and his own transcendent Super Saiyan state. Yet no matter how unbelievable it seemed, the man before him had proven one undeniable fact: he could genuinely stand toe-to-toe with him.
Super Broly narrowed his eyes and gave a faint smile, though it didn't reach them. After a brief silence, he finally spoke. "Are all the Saiyans in Universe 6 as strong as you?"
The man's extraordinary strength had made Super Broly genuinely curious about the Saiyans of Universe 6.
The Universe 6 Saiyan scratched the back of his head, looking a little lost. After hesitating for a moment, he answered awkwardly, "Uh... I guess so? At least, that was true before your younger brother came to our universe."
Then, as if remembering something important, he quickly added, "But now... I'm not so sure. Ever since your brother arrived, everyone seems to have learned how to transform into a Super Saiyan. With the Tournament of Power starting so soon, though, we haven't really had a chance to spar with each other. So honestly, I don't know who's stronger anymore."
Super Broly nodded thoughtfully.
'This guy really is something.'
After thinking it over, he decided it was time to find out where this man's limits truly were.
'Whoosh!'
His golden hair instantly turned green. Super Broly transformed into his Rage Form.
His stamina doubled in an instant, and his already massive body grew even larger, making him nearly twice the size of the Universe 6 Saiyan. The moment his transformation finished, he attacked.
'BOOM!'
A thunderous explosion shook the battlefield. By the time anyone could follow the sound, Super Broly had already slammed the Universe 6 Saiyan against the side of a mountain. The mountain itself was nearly shattered by the impact.
The Universe 6 Saiyan's eyes widened. Looking up at the giant standing before him, now nearly twice his size, his breathing became noticeably heavier. The attack had come so suddenly that it had completely caught him off guard.
A deafening rumble came from behind him. His back was pinned tightly against the mountain, and instinctively, he glanced over his shoulder. Cracks spread through the rock at incredible speed. In the blink of an eye, the entire mountain collapsed into a pile of rubble.
But it wasn't over yet. Even after the mountain was destroyed, Super Broly never let go. His massive arm remained pressed against the Universe 6 Saiyan's neck, driving him forward without stopping. He shoved him all the way across the ground until they reached the beach.
"Hey, hey, hey!!" the Universe 6 Saiyan complained loudly. "What's with that all of a sudden?! That's seriously rude! One second we're chatting like friends, and the next you've smashed me all the way over here!"
Super Broly, however, looked genuinely confused.
"...Chatting like friends? We weren't..."
'Bang!'
Before he could finish speaking, the Universe 6 Saiyan launched his counterattack.

The Universe 6 Saiyan grabbed the hand around his neck with both of his own and pulled with all his strength.
"AAAAAH!! Let go!!" His face had already turned purple from lack of oxygen.
The whole scene looked strangely comical, and Super Broly frowned in confusion. Everything about this man told him he should be an incredibly powerful fighter, but what he was seeing now made him wonder.
'Was I wrong about him?'
Just then, a deafening roar exploded into the air. The shout crashed over him like a tidal wave, so loud that even Super Broly's tough eardrums stung for a moment. His thoughts were instantly interrupted, and he looked sharply at the Universe 6 Saiyan.
Suddenly, a blinding flash of light burst straight toward him. Before he could react, his entire vision was filled with a violent energy blast. To his astonishment, the blast had been fired straight from the Universe 6 Saiyan's mouth.
Caught off guard by the sudden attack, Super Broly was briefly surprised. But he quickly regained his composure.
After all, this kind of reckless fighting style was actually quite similar to his own, and with his strength, he believed an attack like this wasn't enough to threaten him. Instead of dodging, he chose to take it head-on with his body.
'BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!'
A chain of earth-shaking explosions erupted, and thick smoke and scorching heat swallowed the entire area.
Super Broly's eyes widened. Only now did he realize he had underestimated his opponent. He had been certain he could tank the attack without trouble; instead, at point-blank range, the mouth blast was far more powerful than he'd expected.
The impact numbed his arm. His grip failed, forcing him to release the Universe 6 Saiyan's neck, while an overwhelming pain spread through his chest. It felt as though ten thousand ants were tearing through his flesh and nerves, wave after wave of agonizing pain washing over him.
His body was completely thrown out of control, and like a kite with its string cut, he flew backward, smashing through several enormous boulders before finally crashing to the ground.
Holding his chest, Super Broly slowly forced himself back to his feet despite the pain. Then he began searching for the Universe 6 Saiyan. To his surprise, the other man had also been blown away by the explosion, and for the moment, he was nowhere to be seen.
Smoke covered the entire beach and drifted over the sea. Super Broly turned toward the ocean, sensing the Universe 6 Saiyan's aura within the haze.
'Whoosh!'
A towering pillar of water shot thousands of feet into the sky. Before Super Broly even saw him, he heard the familiar complaining voice.
"You're just like your little brother! Once you start fighting, you completely stop caring about your own life!"
Super Broly answered calmly, "You're not much different." That mouth blast had been the definition of a self-destructive attack, hurting the enemy while hurting himself even more.
"Tch. That's only because you attacked me out of nowhere. Otherwise, why would I have done something like that?"
The Universe 6 Saiyan emerged from the sea. But the moment he surfaced, Super Broly's attention was completely captured. The man had changed.
"...Green... Green hair?" Super Broly muttered in disbelief.
The aura surrounding the man felt astonishingly similar to his own.
"You... Who are you?"
The Universe 6 Saiyan casually brushed the lock of hair hanging over his forehead back into place.
"My name speaks for itself. I'm a Saiyan from Universe 6. 'Sarada.'"
