"Lord Naruto, the target has been brought in!"
A shinobi clad in a pitch-black combat uniform appeared and knelt respectfully before Naruto.
Naruto had just concluded his training when he received word that the mission he issued three days ago had been completed.
Three days had passed since the battle with Ōtsutsuki Isshiki.
After returning, Naruto immediately ordered that Amado Sanzu and Kawaki be brought to Konoha.
Kawaki had been personally cultivated by Isshiki. That alone proved his extraordinary potential. As for Amado, the technology he possessed—scientific ninja tools and biological modification techniques—was precisely what the shinobi world currently lacked.
Allowing such a genius to wander freely would be a waste.
The shinobi handed over the mission report. Naruto took it calmly, dismissed him with a wave, and only then shifted his attention to the two individuals standing before him.
He read the report from beginning to end before lifting his gaze toward Amado.
"The report says you voluntarily sought out Konoha. Is that correct?" Naruto asked evenly. "Why would you come here of your own accord?"
Though Naruto bore no personal grudge against Amado, from Kara's perspective, Naruto was the enemy who had destroyed their leader.
Of course, Amado's loyalty to Kara had never been genuine.
Kawaki looked younger and more fragile than in the original timeline. At this moment, he stared at Naruto with undisguised fear.
Unlike Amado—who had come willingly—Kawaki had been captured.
Naruto stood there with sharp brows and clear eyes, his presence calm yet overwhelming. But in Kawaki's mind, he was a devil.
After all, even Jigen—who was the vessel of Ōtsutsuki Isshiki—had been effortlessly slain by Naruto.
Who wouldn't fear such power?
Amado adjusted his glasses and met Naruto's gaze calmly.
"Because," he said, "I believe you possess the strength to contend with the Ōtsutsuki Clan."
Naruto's eyes narrowed slightly.
"Oh? And what makes you say that?"
He was genuinely curious how much Amado knew about the Ōtsutsuki.
"The Ōtsutsuki Clan is not to be underestimated," Amado began. "I assume you've already obtained information from Ōtsutsuki Kaguya."
Naruto did not deny it.
"The Ōtsutsuki are one of the apex races of the universe. Their power is terrifying. However, they are also despised by many civilizations."
"Wherever they go, they plant Divine Trees, harvest chakra fruits, and drain entire planets of life. Countless worlds have been reduced to lifeless husks because of them."
"They are feared—and resented. But few dare oppose them openly."
He paused briefly before continuing.
"Later, due to pressure from certain top-tier cosmic powers, the Ōtsutsuki were restricted. They could no longer plant Divine Trees freely on territories controlled by major factions. They were forced to operate within their own domains—or in unclaimed star regions."
"The shinobi world falls into the latter category."
Naruto listened quietly.
"In the greater universe," Amado went on, "planets without spacefaring capabilities are classified as indigenous worlds. Only civilizations capable of interstellar travel are considered true participants in cosmic affairs."
"Beings that cannot even escape their own planet are insignificant. A minor cosmic disaster could wipe them out."
"But I never expected this so-called 'indigenous planet' to produce an existence like you."
His eyes locked onto Naruto.
"A Six Paths–level powerhouse possesses the power to destroy a planet. That alone elevates this world beyond weak classification."
Silence fell between them.
Amado seemed momentarily lost in thought.
Naruto did not interrupt him.
After a moment, Amado exhaled lightly.
"My apologies. I was recalling certain memories."
"No need," Naruto replied. "But I am curious—how do you know all of this?"
Amado's knowledge far exceeded that of an ordinary scientist from the shinobi world.
Even Kawaki, head lowered like an ostrich, trembled faintly. He had just heard information far beyond his comprehension.
Would he be silenced for knowing too much?
Amado adjusted his glasses again and spoke plainly.
"Lord Naruto, since I have come to Konoha, I will not hide the truth."
"I am not originally from this world."
Naruto raised an eyebrow slightly.
"I come from what you once called 'beyond the heavens'—the universe."
Naruto shook his head faintly.
"'Beyond the heavens' is an outdated term. We've made considerable progress in understanding outer space."
"Still," he added calmly, "I would like to hear about your origins."
His tone carried neither suspicion nor hostility—only measured interest.
Amado nodded.
"I come from the planet Sanzu Origin."
"It was a young civilization—newly stepping into interstellar society. However, it did not belong to any major power or faction."
He paused there.
Naruto's gaze sharpened slightly.
From that single sentence, he had already guessed the likely fate of Amado's world.
Amado let out a quiet, self-deprecating chuckle.
"If we're being precise," he said, "I'm nothing more than a homeless wanderer."
His gaze turned distant.
"You've likely already guessed it. My planet… was destroyed by the Ōtsutsuki Clan."
"The Divine Tree absorbed the planet's life force—its chakra, its very essence—until the world itself began to collapse. Civilization crumbled. Resources vanished. The people of Sanzu Origin resisted, of course… but before absolute power, resistance is nothing more than futile courage."
His voice remained calm, but the weight beneath it was unmistakable.
"Sanzu Origin was a technological civilization. Our peak combat power had already reached the Six Paths level. We believed that was enough."
"It wasn't."
"The Ōtsutsuki possess too many methods—space–time ninjutsu, chakra absorption, Kāma resurrection, genetic evolution through chakra fruit refinement. Against such overwhelming ability, even our strongest forces were crushed."
"In the end, I had no choice but to flee… and bring my daughter with me."
Kawaki's fingers tightened unconsciously.
Naruto remained silent, allowing him to continue.
"But what I did not expect," Amado said quietly, "was that this planet had also been invaded by the Ōtsutsuki long ago."
His eyes flickered slightly.
"After arriving in the shinobi world, I established a place in the Land of Earth and named it Sanzu Origin… as a memorial to my homeland."
Naruto nodded slowly.
There was indeed such a place within the Land of Earth—a peculiar region known as Sanzu Origin. Few understood its origin.
So it had been created by Amado.
A monument to a fallen world.
Naruto studied him more carefully now.
It seemed unlikely that "Sanzu" was merely a coincidence. Taking the name of one's destroyed planet as a surname was not something an ordinary person would do.
Amado then began revealing more of what he knew.
Some of the information overlapped with what Ōtsutsuki Kaguya had once disclosed. Some differed.
In truth, Amado did not know as much as Kaguya. But his knowledge came from a different angle—from the perspective of a destroyed civilization rather than a clan insider.
Naruto listened with genuine interest.
The Ōtsutsuki were no longer a distant threat. They were a looming inevitability.
One could say they were Naruto's true enemy.
Amado's decision to join Kara had never been about loyalty. It was about proximity.
Isshiki's descent into the shinobi world had presented an opportunity.
"Joining Kara was merely a means to eliminate Ōtsutsuki Isshiki," Amado said plainly. "Nothing more."
He adjusted his glasses.
"The Ōtsutsuki who destroyed Sanzu Origin was not Isshiki. They were different individuals."
"And Isshiki," he added calmly, "believed I was simply a native of this world."
Naruto's expression did not change, but his mind was already turning.
If that was true…
Then Amado had infiltrated Kara under the nose of an Ōtsutsuki.
And survived.
