Beside him, the Dark Elf Commander stepped up, wiping a smear of dark blue blood from his pale cheek, his unhinged grin still stretched wide across his face.
"Not a single casualty, boss!" the commander snickered, tapping the side of his helmet where a halberd had sliced through three seconds prior, before his soul-bond regenerated it. "Well... technically we died forty-two times, but who's counting?"
"Save your breath, crazy," Pho grunted, his dark eyes fixing on the massive obsidian gates ahead. "The main course is inside."
Pho didn't bother knocking. He stepped up to the ancient dark elven doors, raised his massive, boot-clad leg, and kicked the central seam with the full, shockwave-driven weight of his demonic strength.
BOOM!
The multi-ton obsidian doors shattered inward, the massive stone slabs crashing onto the polished floor of the grand entrance hall with a deafening roar that shook the entire fortress.
