A gruff voice broke Key out of his thoughts as he instantly got into a martial arts pose.

What many may not know was that he had a black belt in Tackle and Grapple, it was a one of a kind martial art with him being the only student of this style.
Thus his achievement of Black Belt was just that rare …. especially considering the fact that he was the creator of this style….

All Key saw was a dark shadowy figure in the darkness…. But that wasn't what he noticed…. His gaze was transfixed on the slightly smooth shadowy head.
" B-Bald Brother! " Key's voice trembled as he knelt on one knee while tearing up.

Mary Jane Watson was laying in her bed as she struggled with a single two letter text.
She had been erasing and typing in the same text for the past half an hour as the red head was conflicted over contacting her crush … who happened to be in a happy relationship which made her feel both relieved and jealous.
Relieved , since she was the one responsible for his break up with Illyana … Jealous because she was in love with him.
It wasn't even a childish crush… MJ knew she was in love with Adrian Frost especially because he was there for her and had protected her from her dirt bag of a step dad .
MJ was aware that she had daddy issues… and Adrian fit right at home with her issues.
She wanted to be with him… but at the same time felt a bit self conscious since she kind of ruined his first relationship and her inferiority and lack of confidence in regards to Adrian made her hesitate since she felt like he just saw her as a friend.
It would be mortifying for her if he said she was like a sister to him after she laid her feelings bare to him.
That would be a level of embarrassment MJ wouldn't be able to recover from … so she was stuck watching him from afar …. While slipping into her seasonal depression….

" O-Oh no!" MJ said in a panicked tone as she had accidentally sent Adrian a message, it was just a simple Hi but it still made her nervous , but before she could delete it , it showed that Adrian had seen it.
[ Adrian: Hey ]
[ MJ : Hey :) … ]
MJ was panicking as she didn't know what to say to him , would it be slimy of her to invite him to coffee or just hang out , she had seen a dark haired woman with eastern features with him multiple times and from the way they behaved she could see that they were dating.
MJ didn't want to be a homewrecker , but at the same time … she just couldn't let go.
She had been his neighbour from Middle School along with Peni… but there was no progress in their relationship.
If it was either Peni or Gwen then MJ could at least feel that bittersweet feeling but the one who got Adrian was an unknown woman and that made her more depressed.
It's like getting a headstart at a race and still losing to the person that started 5 minutes late….

MJ was typing out her text when she heard a knock on the front door making her annoyed.
It must be her drunk Mom or her crack head step dad Paul, just remembering him made her face scrunch up since the way he had recently started looking at her made feel a shiver down her back.
When MJ talked to her Mom about it she just said it's just her imagination and she should be grateful to Paul for caring about her even when he is not related to her by blood.
But MJ would rather not receive Paul's 'care', his accidental touches or gaze on her made MJ feel like vomiting but she held it in since she didn't want to cause any trouble and get kicked out.
She was sure that her Mom would do it … just like last time.
She would leave this hell hole after she got everything set up, MJ was still looking for a cheap place to rent which would be affordable for her if she worked as a waitress at a cafe or a restaurant.
She didn't want to give up on her dream to be a journalist , MJ knew that Adrian could help her and just asking him would solve the problem.
But she didn't want to come off as an opportunistic woman , and she didn't want to feel like a leech.
MJ knew Adrian wouldn't think like that , but she still didn't want him to think less of her, just the thought that he might think she latched on to him due to his status made her feel a tight feeling in her chest.
MJ was well aware that she was a dumb bitch hopelessly in love , and would rather suffer than make things easier for herself since she knew just a phone call would be enough to make him help her….

Maybe it was a bit too forward or desperate but Adrian found himself sitting at the same table as the blonde.
Maybe he was a bit delusional but was that a hint of a smile on her lips ? , Adrian wasn't sure but he didn't want to stare too long and be labelled as a creep.
He tried to be nonchalant as he focused on reading his book but he just couldn't focus on it as he found himself drifting off, his thoughts being clouded by the girl before him.
He couldn't stop himself from peeking at her from time to time and he was glad that she was engrossed in reading since it would be very lame for him to get caught staring.
Adrian usually didn't care what others thought about him and unlike the others at his school he didn't bother standing out or being the centre of attention.
But now he felt a bit self conscious as he made sure to not do something dumb.
But what Adrian wasn't aware of was that the Blonde was also peeking at him when he wasn't looking at her and she was stuck at the same page for the past 15 minutes….

Emma Frost is gorgeous, more good looking than actresses and models , and Adrian is her half brother.
His mother should have been beautiful enough to make Emma's bum father have an affair with her , so he is naturally among the 0.1% in looks , and first impression is the best impression 🦭.
