Chapter 614 - Chapter 614

Sensing the abnormal change, everyone stopped what they were doing and exchanged glances before quickly heading in the direction of the sound.

Before long, they arrived inside an enormous cabin.

"This is…"

Ron walked at the front, and the instant he stepped into the chamber, his footsteps suddenly stopped. A trace of unconcealable surprise flashed through his eyes.

What appeared before him was an enormous transparent container.

It looked like a mysterious crystal palace, its interior filled with violently dancing blue lightning.

The bolts of electricity were like furious thunder serpents, rampaging and roaring inside, weaving together and crashing into one another with heart-stopping crackles.

Every flash seemed as though it could tear the surrounding space apart.

Outside the container, countless pipes were densely connected to it. Like blood vessels, they continuously carried that terrifying energy to every corner of the hull, providing the giant warship with immense power.

"Lightning energy!"

Jozu's eyes widened as he cried out in shock, his face filled with disbelief.

"They actually tamed such violent natural power and turned it into an energy source! This is beyond anything we imagined!"

Once everyone confirmed that Pluton used lightning as its energy source, all eyes turned in a certain direction at the same time.

That direction seemed to carry some invisible attraction, filling everyone's gazes with expectation and curiosity.

"Looks like we need to invite that 'god' to make an appearance."

The corner of Ron's mouth lifted slightly into a confident and mysterious smile.

His fingertip lightly tapped Pluton's control console, producing crisp, rhythmic sounds, as if calling out to some unknown power.

Time passed quietly.

Not long after, the originally calm sky was suddenly torn apart by an extremely dazzling bolt of lightning.

The lightning was like a savage dragon, carrying the force to destroy heaven and earth as it ripped out from the depths of the heavy clouds and shot straight toward the ground.

And within that mighty thunder, Enel's lazy figure slowly appeared.

He hovered casually in midair, his long fingers digging at his ear in a careless yet arrogant manner. The corner of his mouth lifted slightly as he muttered with contempt,

"Tch. So this clumsy-looking iron ship dares try to borrow this god's power? How ridiculous."

His arrogant gaze swept freely over the majestic Pluton.

He did not miss a single detail, from its sturdy hull to its precise weapon systems.

However, when his eyes unintentionally fell upon the enormous lightning energy core radiating a mysterious aura, his once-disdainful pupils shrank slightly despite himself.

A rare trace of curiosity and caution flashed through his eyes.

"Oh? A little interesting."

It was as if that energy core hid some secret beyond his imagination.

Ron, standing nearby, remained cold and indifferent. He merely said lightly,

"Enough nonsense. Get to work."

His voice was not loud, but it carried unquestionable authority.

Enel did not get angry when he heard that. Instead, he gave a smug laugh filled with confidence and arrogance.

His figure flashed, and he landed lightly before the energy core like a ghost.

In an instant, his hands slowly spread open, and surging lightning rose around him.

The lightning rolled and surged like solid waves, producing terrifying crackles.

He threw his head back and roared,

"Thirty Million Volts: Thunder God Charging!"

With that shout, lightning so violent it seemed to have reached its limit surged forward like a pack of furious dragons, carrying the power to destroy everything as it poured madly into the energy core.

The entire cabin was instantly drowned in blinding blue-white light, so intense that people could barely open their eyes.

The energy core was like a greedy giant beast, opening its bloody maw and desperately absorbing the endless lightning power.

The complex patterns on its surface grew brighter and brighter under the impact of that immense energy, flickering with a mysterious and eerie glow, as if they had come alive.

An hour passed quickly amid tension and expectation.

By then, fine beads of sweat had already appeared on Enel's forehead. They slid down his cheeks and dripped onto the floor with soft sounds.

He frowned tightly and muttered in disbelief,

"You've got to be kidding me… Is this thing a bottomless pit?"

He had never encountered such a difficult situation before.

In the past, he had always been completely confident in his lightning power, but now, for the first time, he felt pressure.

Another hour passed.

After two hours, the situation had become even more severe.

For the first time, a strained expression appeared on Enel's face.

The lightning that had originally been stable and powerful began to waver, flickering uncertainly, sometimes surging and sometimes dimming.

A trace of fear and confusion appeared in his eyes.

"How is this possible… This god's lightning is actually behaving like this…"

He desperately tried to maintain that powerful lightning output, but his body began trembling without him noticing.

When the third hour arrived, under everyone's shocked and worried gazes, the man who had always called himself "god" finally could not hold on any longer and dropped to one knee.

He gasped heavily, his chest rising and falling violently. Every breath seemed to drain the last of his strength.

"Enough… that's enough… This is a hundred times more exhausting than going through a brutal battle…"

By now, none of his earlier arrogance remained. All that was left was exhaustion and helplessness.

At the moment he exhausted the last trace of his strength, the energy core finally released the hum of a complete charge.

The sound was low and heavy, like a summons from ancient times.

A stable and powerful blue light spread from the core, covering the entire cabin in a sacred and solemn atmosphere.

Marco's eyes widened, his face filled with disbelief as he murmured,

"Unbelievable… The energy contained in this single charge is actually equal to the full power of a Logia ability user."

His voice trembled slightly from shock.

Ron walked firmly to the control console, his gaze steady and deep.

He pressed his hand against the recognition device and looked into the distance, his eyes filled with fighting spirit.

"Now, let the world witness the true power of an Ancient Weapon once again."
