Cherreads

Chapter 636 - Chapter 636

The molecules in the air ionized under the violent motion, and tiny blue arcs of electricity flickered and jumped through the sky like drifting ghostfire.

At the same time, a sharp smell of ozone spread through the air. It stabbed at the nose like the mark of death itself.

That biting scent mixed with the burnt stink of countless objects scorched by high heat, forming a sickening odor that filled everyone's nostrils and made their stomachs churn.

As the lasers streaked through the sky, a piercing scream tore through the silence.

The sound was like ten thousand blades scraping glass at once, or countless ghosts wailing in agony. Layer upon layer of shrieking noise merged into a maddening symphony of death.

It was so loud that people's eardrums began to bleed. Blood trickled down their cheeks, yet no one had the spare attention to wipe it away.

Every laser dragged a dark-red energy trail behind it as it crossed the heavens.

Those trails looked like rivers of burning flame twisting through the black sky, weaving across one another.

They were like a giant net personally woven by death, covering the entire sky. Any living thing that dared enter it would be doomed beyond recovery.

Even worse, the lasers seemed endless.

The moment one wave weakened slightly, another came roaring after it, repeating again and again without any sign of stopping.

The cannon ports in the sky were like fountains of death that would never run dry, constantly spewing destructive light as though they meant to swallow the entire world.

Finally, those terrifying lasers slammed into the protective barrier the powerful fighters had desperately set up.

In an instant, blinding radiance erupted like the sun itself, so intense that no one could look straight at it.

Then the shockwave from the explosion spread outward like a savage beast, sweeping across the area with mountain-crushing force.

The entire Divine Kingdom sea trembled violently under that power. Waves dozens of meters high rose from the ocean and crashed against the reefs along the shore, releasing deafening roars.

"So… this is Uranus's true power?"

"It's almost as strong as my Bolo Breath!"

Even Kaido, who had always been fearless and wildly arrogant, could not help being moved after seeing such a shocking sight. A faint trace of caution appeared on his face.

His eyes remained fixed on the lasers filling the sky, and a deep sense of awe rose in his heart.

On the mysterious and solemn island of the Divine Kingdom, Ron stood alone.

His gaze was locked tightly on the rainstorm of death pouring down before him. That light looked like an evil flood surging from the depths of endless darkness, carrying the terrifying power to destroy everything.

His hands slowly clenched without him realizing it, his knuckles turning faintly white and veins rising across the backs of his hands.

This was the first time in his life that he had witnessed Uranus unleashing its full power at such close range.

Every ray of death looked like the scythe of the Grim Reaper swinging through the sky, cutting into his heart and filling him with shock and awe.

Then—

A wildly arrogant laugh suddenly rang out.

"Wororororo! Perfect timing!"

The one laughing was none other than Kaido.

His dragon pupils flashed with strange, excited light, as if flames were about to burst from his eyes and ignite the battle hunger buried deep in his heart.

His thick dragon claws stomped hard onto Pluton's solid deck. Each step struck like a heavy hammer against a war drum, producing a dull, thunderous boom.

The enormous force traveled through his limbs and into the entire battleship, making even the majestic Pluton tremble violently. The hull creaked loudly, as if it might fall apart at any moment.

"An attack at this level is finally worth my time!"

Kaido roared, his voice echoing between heaven and earth like thunder.

In an instant, his mighty blue dragon form fully expanded.

A gigantic dragon body covered in gleaming blue scales rose from the deck and rushed straight into the clouds.

The scales along his body reflected a cold, razor-sharp light under the sun, as though countless blades had been arranged across him.

As he rose, the hurricane he stirred up ravaged the area like a ferocious beast. The sea was torn open into deep trenches, the water roaring as it split to both sides, creating a scene both spectacular and terrifying.

Kaido opened his huge bloody maw, wide enough to swallow the sky and earth.

Deep in his throat, scorching energy began gathering rapidly.

The energy grew stronger and stronger, heating the surrounding air until it twisted and hissed.

Finally—

He roared,

"Bolo Breath!"

With that roar, a dark-red dragon breath erupted like a volcano.

It was impossibly hot. Wherever it passed, space was scorched until it warped, and the air filled with a sharp burnt smell.

With overwhelming force, it collided head-on with the death lasers fired by Uranus!

At the point where the two powers met, dazzling light exploded outward.

A massive fireball appeared in the air, like a brilliant little sun hanging in the sky.

The light was so intense that people could barely open their eyes, and everything around them was dyed a blazing red.

Immediately after, a world-destroying shockwave spread from the collision point in every direction.

Everywhere it passed, the surrounding clouds were wiped away in an instant, as if erased by an invisible hand, leaving behind only an empty, silent sky.

"Not enough! Again!"

Kaido laughed wildly as he circled through the air, his dragon tail sweeping apart several incoming lasers.

"Let me see how many tricks you've got!"

His dragon body suddenly shook, and even greater energy gathered inside his mouth.

This time, his dragon breath was mixed with black-red lightning from Conqueror's Haki.

When it collided with the dark-red lasers, it created an even more terrifying explosion.

"Ugh…"

The aftershock cracked Kaido's dragon scales, but his laughter only became more crazed.

"That's more like it! This is way more fun than fighting Red Hair!"

On the battlefield, Kaido's huge, savage body stood proudly.

His razor-sharp dragon claws, wrapped in overwhelming power, swung out fiercely like black lightning tearing through the void.
