Chapter 101 - Chapter 95: The White Damsel [+]

Silence.

Within the lowest dimensions of the Universe, the unconscious prisoners remained suspended inside their restraints.

Lyra Subaru, Theodore Ivalisk, Mikaela Ivalisk, Lina Taileon, Amethyst Evaryn, and Crystal Evaryn were still unable to move. Their bodies remained pale and weakened, while their consciousness drifted somewhere far beyond the physical world.

They were dreaming.

One dream after another appeared within their minds.

Memories of their past.

Fragments of their lives.

Familiar faces and places that they had once encountered.

However, something unusual began happening.

The dreams started disappearing.

At first, it was only a small portion of their memories, as though a gentle breeze had carried them away. But gradually, the process became stronger. Their dreams began being pulled toward an unknown destination, as if something was gathering every fragment of their unconscious thoughts.

The memories were being sucked away.

One by one.

Until Lyra's consciousness was drawn into a completely different place.

A vast white palace.

It floated above the entirety of the Universe, standing at a height where even the distant galaxies appeared small beneath it. Its enormous structure seemed to extend beyond the boundaries of ordinary space, while its highest towers approached the very edge of the Universe.

It was almost as though the palace existed outside the Universe itself.

The structure was beautiful.

Its walls were entirely white, decorated with elegant patterns and enormous pillars that stretched toward the heavens. The architecture carried an ancient feeling, something that could not be associated with any ordinary civilization.

There were no visible signs of destruction.

No battles.

No enemies.

Only an overwhelming sense of peace.

And within one of its highest chambers, a young woman slowly opened her eyes.

Lyra Subaru.

She found herself standing inside the palace.

Her silver hair rested gently over her shoulders, and her body felt strangely unfamiliar. She looked around, trying to understand where she had been brought.

Her head was hurting.

Not like an ordinary headache, but as though countless memories were attempting to enter her consciousness all at once.

She placed one hand against her forehead.

"Where is this...?"

She looked around.

"My head hurts so much. A strange place..."

Lyra slowly began walking through the halls of the White Palace.

Her footsteps echoed against the polished floor.

She looked toward the enormous windows, through which she could see the countless galaxies below. The scenery was breathtaking, but it only made her more confused.

Where am I?

She continued walking.

Where are the others?

Her thoughts immediately turned toward her family.

Theodore.

Mikaela.

Lina.

Amethyst.

Crystal.

And then, most importantly—

"Aizen..."

Her voice became quieter.

"Where's Aizen?"

She needed to find them.

She needed to know whether they were safe.

However, before she could continue searching, she noticed an opening leading toward an enormous garden.

Curiosity drew her toward it.

The moment she entered, she was greeted by a peaceful scenery.

The garden was filled with beautiful flowers and carefully maintained plants. White trees stood along the pathways, their branches extending gracefully toward the sky.

A gentle breeze passed through the garden.

And beyond the flowers stood a tea table.

A woman was sitting there.

She wore a white divine dress, elegant and seemingly untouched by the passage of time. Her posture was graceful as she held a teacup, calmly sipping its contents.

Both of her eyes were closed.

She did not appear surprised by Lyra's arrival.

In fact, she seemed to have been waiting.

The mysterious woman gently placed her teacup onto the table.

"You've arrived."

Her voice was peaceful.

Lyra immediately stopped walking.

She stared at the unfamiliar woman, becoming more cautious.

"Who are you?!"

The woman remained seated.

For a moment, she did not answer.

Instead, she tilted her head slightly, as though examining something about Lyra.

"It seems I had become much more cautious."

She paused.

"It's probably because of him."

Lyra frowned.

"What are you talking about?"

She looked around the garden before returning her attention to the woman.

"Where am I? And who are you?"

The mysterious woman remained silent for a moment.

Then she gave a small sigh.

"Fine."

She placed her hands gently over the table.

"But you have to hear my story. And why you're here."

Lyra crossed her arms slightly.

She still did not understand the situation, but she could tell that the woman knew something important.

Perhaps something about her current condition.

Perhaps something about Aizen.

"Well?"

Lyra looked directly at her.

"Let's hear it."

The woman nodded.

And so, she began telling a story that had existed long before Lyra Subaru was ever born.

"I was just a small girl."

The woman's voice began softly.

"A horned creature. A being that could become the new Creator God."

She paused, seemingly recalling an old memory.

"I was called Renascia Phosvita."

The name echoed gently through the garden.

"A name given by my father. Someone who left the Universe, only leaving me with my little sister, ShisuoTuko Erebus."

Lyra listened without interrupting.

"My sister calls me Rena. And I call her Shisu."

The woman smiled faintly.

"We were the embodiment of nature. She was Destruction, and I was Creation."

She raised her teacup again, taking a small sip.

"Our authorities were gifted to us by the All Father, and it would forever be our role."

Her words carried a strange weight.

These were not ordinary abilities.

They were authorities that represented the fundamental forces of existence itself.

Creation and Destruction.

Two opposing powers that were nevertheless connected.

"My little sister was scared of everything."

Phosvita's expression softened.

"I didn't want to scare her. So I became somewhat humanoid."

She looked down at her own hands.

"My last form was a horned creature without a body. Only a head with a horn. The same as my little sister."

Lyra listened carefully.

"I had pale skin, silver hair, and purple eyes."

Phosvita's voice remained calm.

"She tried to copy me, but her authority wouldn't let her."

A faint smile appeared on her face.

"Her form was closer to mine, but her horns were a little bigger, and she had black hair instead of silver."

Lyra's expression gradually changed.

Something about the description felt familiar.

Silver hair.

Purple eyes.

A horned form.

The details seemed strangely connected to something deep within her memories.

But she remained silent.

Phosvita continued.

"When I tried to copy a world, just like Tellus, I discovered something interesting."

Her attention shifted toward the distant view beyond the garden.

"There were humans living there. But those humans didn't have mana or magic."

"They were ordinary."

She smiled slightly.

"Their only strength was how they thought."

Lyra listened with interest.

"That was quite fascinating to me."

Phosvita rested her teacup on the table.

"I wanted to understand them. Their behavior, their civilizations, and the way they developed despite having no extraordinary powers."

She paused.

"Until I searched the future."

Her expression became more serious.

"Which was a dark fog."

The peaceful atmosphere of the garden seemed to grow quieter.

"Nothing could be seen."

Lyra tilted her head.

"A dark fog?"

Phosvita nodded.

"And that was when I saw another Creator God."

Her voice became more serious.

"The same as me. But she didn't create good things."

Phosvita looked toward Lyra.

"She created bad things. And she even killed her other authority, which was her opposite."

The woman briefly closed her eyes.

"She attacked me."

Lyra remained silent.

"And I attacked her back."

Phosvita's expression did not change, but her words carried the memory of an enormous confrontation.

"That was when I realized something."

She slowly raised one finger.

"My power suddenly skyrocketed."

Lyra listened closely.

"I simply touched her with my finger..."

Phosvita paused.

"And she turned into nothing."

Lyra's eyes widened slightly.

The woman continued.

"My sister saw that."

She lowered her hand.

"I was panicking because I thought she would be scared of that sight."

For a moment, Phosvita's expression became troubled.

"However, when I approached her, she was no longer herself."

Lyra frowned.

"What happened to her?"

Phosvita took a quiet breath.

"Two Primordial Universes had suddenly merged."

She looked toward the distant stars.

"And it was because of a creature from the other Universe that merged ours with theirs."

Lyra listened carefully.

Phosvita continued.

"I was stunned. Because to do something like that, you would have to sacrifice all of your strength."

Her voice became quieter.

"It should have led to his death."

She paused.

"But that man was still alive."

Lyra's attention sharpened.

"He wasn't dead. He was injured, but he was still alive."

Phosvita looked down at her teacup.

"That was when my sister left."

Her expression became slightly sad.

"She didn't show herself to me anymore."

The garden remained quiet.

Phosvita continued explaining what happened afterward.

"My sister did many things. She fought, and she helped the Universe."

She paused.

"Something was even trying to corrupt the Universe, they said."

Lyra listened.

"And that corrupted creature eventually came to me himself."

Phosvita's expression softened.

"He didn't have any ill intentions."

She smiled.

"He was rather kind."

The woman's voice carried a different feeling now.

"Every time I sat here and drank a cup of tea, he would come to greet me and talk to me."

She glanced at the empty chair across the table.

"It became something I looked forward to."

Lyra remained still.

Phosvita continued.

"That's when I realized that he was the one who had merged our Universe with theirs."

She gave a faint laugh.

"He seemed healthy and strong, but I noticed that he was weakening."

Her smile slowly faded.

"Still, there was no corruption in his behavior. Not toward me."

She looked at Lyra.

"Because of how kind he was."

Phosvita's eyes remained closed, but her expression was filled with warmth.

"He gave me flowers from planets he had discovered. He gifted me ores and many crystals from different planets."

She paused.

"He brought me things from places I had never visited."

A small smile returned.

"And then, one day, he proposed to me."

Lyra's eyes widened slightly.

Phosvita continued.

"His name was AzaiZenith VaelorKhan."

The name echoed through the garden.

Lyra immediately remembered something.

Aizen.

The name was connected to his ancient memories.

AzaiZenith.

The original existence whose memories and powers had awakened within him.

Phosvita's voice became softer.

"And since I had taken a peek at his future, I eventually saw him fighting my little sister."

Her fingers tightened slightly around the teacup.

"That was when I saw his death."

The peaceful expression disappeared.

"Over thousands of Gods attacked him. Many of them were at his strength."

She paused.

"And that's when I saw my beloved die."

For a moment, Phosvita said nothing.

The garden remained peaceful, but the story she had told was anything but peaceful.

Lyra looked at her.

She was beginning to understand that the woman sitting before her had lived through something extraordinary.

She had been a Creator God.

She had possessed an authority capable of shaping worlds.

She had witnessed the merging of two Primordial Universes.

And she had loved AzaiZenith VaelorKhan.

The same being whose memories were now awakening within Aizen.

Lyra finally spoke.

"Then I ask..."

She took a small step forward.

"Why are you here? Where are we currently? And why are you telling me these things?"

Phosvita smiled.

"It's very simple."

She gently placed her teacup onto the table.

"I'm you, and you are me."

Lyra froze.

"What?"

The woman continued speaking.

"I reincarnated myself, making sure that Zenith and I would become together."

Her expression softened.

"And we did."

She tilted her head slightly.

"It's probably going to surprise you."

Lyra stared at her.

"What do you mean?!"

Phosvita answered without hesitation.

"We are currently in a memory space."

She gestured toward the surrounding garden.

"I'm your fragment."

Lyra looked around.

"You are me from the future. I reincarnated myself to be with Zenith, Raizen, and Aizen."

The names struck Lyra deeply.

Raizen.

Aizen.

The connections between the lives suddenly became clearer.

Phosvita continued.

"And we are currently at the Old White Palace, where we once lived."

She paused before looking toward Lyra again.

"And this..."

A small white light appeared above her palm.

It was an orb.

A beautiful white sphere containing something purple within its center. The purple substance moved slowly, resembling a swirling mass of energy that was alive.

Phosvita held it carefully.

"This white orb."

She extended her hand.

"I give it to you."

Lyra looked at the object.

"This is...?"

She could feel something extraordinary coming from it.

The orb did not merely contain energy.

It carried an authority.

Something ancient.

Something that seemed to recognize her existence.

Phosvita slowly stood from her chair.

For the first time since Lyra had arrived, the woman began opening her eyes.

Her eyes opened.

The mysterious woman revealed her true appearance.

Her hair was entirely white.

A single white horn rested upon her head, and her purple eyes carried an extraordinary divine radiance. Her eyelashes were also purple, matching the color of her eyes.

Her divine dress remained entirely white, giving her an appearance that seemed almost too pure for the ordinary Universe.

She was no longer simply a mysterious woman sitting in a garden.

She was Renascia Phosvita.

The original Creator Goddess.

The woman who had once stood beside AzaiZenith VaelorKhan.

And the being whose soul had eventually become Lyra Subaru.

Phosvita gently raised her hand.

Then she threw the white orb toward Lyra.

The orb approached her.

Before Lyra could react, it began glowing more brightly.

The purple substance inside it expanded, and the sphere passed into Lyra's body.

A brilliant white light surrounded her.

At the same time, Phosvita's figure began to fade.

Her body slowly transformed into countless particles of light, as though her existence was being returned to the memories from which she had emerged.

But before disappearing completely, she spoke.

"I have given you my immunity."

Lyra looked at her.

"Your immunity?"

Phosvita smiled.

"Lyra..."

Her voice became gentle.

"Please help Aizen."

Lyra's expression changed.

Phosvita continued.

"He's gone crazy, and he might go berserk."

Her smile faded slightly.

"Help him get out of his inner demons."

Lyra looked at the fading woman.

She understood that this was not an ordinary request.

Aizen was changing.

The power of AzaiZenith VaelorKhan had awakened within him, and the memories of his original existence were returning.

But the more he remembered, the more dangerous his emotions could become.

His grief.

His anger.

His hatred toward the Celestial Gods.

All of them were gathering within him.

And Phosvita was asking Lyra to stop him from losing himself.

Lyra slowly raised her hand.

She could feel the white orb's power spreading throughout her existence.

The unfamiliar energy was beginning to settle into her soul.

It was not simply strengthening her.

It was restoring something that had once belonged to her.

A power she had lost through reincarnation.

A memory she had forgotten.

A role she had once fulfilled.

Lyra looked directly at Phosvita.

"I will."

Her voice was firm.

"And I accept your power."

Phosvita smiled.

For the first time, her expression showed complete relief.

"Thank you..."

Her body continued turning into dust.

The white particles drifted through the garden, slowly disappearing into the surrounding light.

Even as she faded away, she maintained her smile.

There was no fear in her expression.

No regret.

Only the peaceful satisfaction of someone who had finally passed something precious to the person who needed it.

And before she disappeared completely, her final expression remained gentle.

Lyra watched her vanish.

The garden became quiet.

The tea table remained.

The teacup was still there.

But Renascia Phosvita was gone.

Lyra stood alone in the Old White Palace.

The white orb had completely entered her body.

Its power was no longer separate from her.

It had become part of her existence.

And with it came the memories.

The life of a Creator God.

The authority to create worlds.

The responsibility of being a barrier for the Universe.

The existence of someone who could shape entire worlds and maintain their foundations.

The memories of Zenith.

The memories of their time together.

The memories of the white palace.

And the truth behind the woman she had once been.

Renascia Phosvita.

The original Creator Goddess.

AzaiZenith VaelorKhan's beloved.

The younger sister of ShisuoTuko Erebus, the God of Destruction.

The White Damsel.

All of those memories were returning.

Lyra's silver hair moved gently as the power settled within her. The white light surrounding her gradually faded, revealing her familiar appearance once more.

But she was no longer the same.

Her soul had regained something that had been missing for countless lifetimes.

Her former authority.

Her former memories.

Her former power.

She had inherited the existence of the Creator Goddess.

And now, she understood why she had been brought to this place.

She understood why Phosvita had appeared before her.

And she understood why Aizen needed her.

He was awakening as AzaiZenith VaelorKhan.

But that awakening was dangerous.

His anger could consume him.

His memories could overwhelm him.

And if he completely lost himself within the Abyss, there might be no one capable of bringing him back.

Phosvita had entrusted that responsibility to her.

Lyra slowly closed her eyes.

She remembered Aizen's face.

His golden eyes.

His black hair.

His familiar smile.

The man who had stood beside her through countless hardships.

The man who had become her family.

The man she had found again after so many lifetimes.

Her expression became determined.

"Aizen..."

She quietly spoke his name.

"I'm coming."

The power of the Creator Goddess began stirring within her soul.

The White Damsel had returned.

And somewhere at the lowest reaches of the Universe, the battle between Aizen Arcime and the Celestial Gods was about to begin.
