Chapter 80 - 130

Chapter 130 What is it?

"There are probably more than five hundred warships!" Daario said to Daenerys after estimating the number of ships.

"Keep an eye on their distance, and issue a warning if they get too close," Daenerys ordered grimly, watching the massive fleet approach.

More than 500 ships, if fully loaded with soldiers, would number more than 50,000.

Meereen currently has nearly 10,000 Unsullied, mercenaries, and Yara's men, along with nearly 50,000 new recruits and 5,000 unstable Gith soldiers. If a war breaks out, their disadvantage is self-evident.

"It's Euron's fleet from the Iron Islands. He's come for you." Before anyone could even make out the flags on the ship, Yara, the Iron Maiden, recognized her own fleet and said to Daenerys.

[It seems that in Euron's eyes, Daenerys's charm far surpasses Cersei's!]

Upon hearing that Euron had come to find Daenerys instead of going directly to Cersei, Drogon couldn't help but think to himself.

Cersei?

As Daenerys was intently watching the fleet, she couldn't help but smile slightly when she heard Drogon address Tyrion's sister, the Regent Cersei.

Looking at the massive fleet of ships, 300 meters wide and over 1,000 meters long, everyone on the city wall felt a sense of oppression.

The soldiers on the city wall were on high alert, ready to carry out the attack order at any time.

Upon hearing Yara's words, Tyrion glanced at Daenerys, who was frowning slightly.

When Yara arrived in Meereen, Tyrion knew why Euron had come to see Daenerys. Obviously, the Queen would not agree to his request. Looking at the overwhelming mass of dark ships, Tyrion slowly frowned.

The fleet did not break through the warning distance, but stopped far away, with only the lead ship heading towards the city gate.

Everyone also saw the flag at the bow of the ship clearly. Unlike the sea monster flag at the bow of Yara's ship, the flag depicted a black-eyed, red-eyed creature wearing a black iron crown supported by two black crows.

As the large ship drew near, the man at the bow was of medium height, wearing a thin robe that was half-open, with messy brown hair and a black leather eye patch over his left eye. He had an arrogant expression and stared daringly at Daenerys on the city wall, scrutinizing her from head to toe.

"Great! It was worth the long trip from the Iron Islands!"

With his head tilted back, Euron shielded his eyes from the sunlight with his hand as he looked Daenerys up and down.

"That…that's your dragon! Why is it so small?" Euron thought Daenerys was carrying a beautiful piece of art on her shoulder when he first saw her, but he realized it was a living creature when he felt Drogon move.

His previous arrogant demeanor vanished, replaced by a furrowed brow as he stared intently at Drogon, as if everyone else on the city wall was merely decoration, even Daenerys was temporarily ignored by him.

Euron didn't know why Drogon was so small, but he never imagined that there would be such a beautiful and exquisite dragon, yet one that was also so big when it was just born, which left him completely puzzled.

Moreover, he had just seen the green and gold dragons circling high in the sky and thought the other one was about the same size as them, but he didn't expect it to be so small.

He had seen pictures of dragons at birth, but none were as perfect as Drogon. He was sure to be amazing when he grew up.

Drogon was perched on Daenerys's shoulder. Euron didn't realize that he had evolved into a quadrupedal dragon, otherwise he would have been even more surprised.

As Youlun stared at Zhuo Geng, Zhuo Geng was somewhat puzzled, sensing a different aura emanating from Youlun.

He didn't know exactly what it was; he had never sensed that kind of aura before.

"Who are you? Why are you here?" Euron's brazenness and the increasingly greedy look in his eyes as he looked at Drogon made Daenerys very uncomfortable.

"Isn't that my dear niece? How did she end up here after stealing my ship? She should be able to tell you who I am!" Euron didn't answer Daenerys's question directly, but glanced at Yara before speaking.

Looking at her uncle Euren, Yara kept a dark expression and didn't say a word.

"What brings you here?" Knowing roughly what Euron's purpose was, Daenerys naturally wouldn't agree to an alliance with him.

"Your Majesty, I have come here for you, of course. Look, I have built more than two hundred large ships especially for you, and my soldiers and I will fight for you."

Euron opened his arms to the densely packed ships behind him and spoke.

Euron's words did not elicit a smile from Daenerys. Even though she had not heard Yara explain Euron's purpose in coming to her, she knew that so many ships and people were not easily obtained.

"What do I need to give in return?" Daenerys still asked.

"You don't need to give anything. Just agree to marry me, and all of this will be yours." Euron said, glancing at Zhuo Geng intentionally or unintentionally.

Even if he didn't know exactly how many troops Meereen had, he could guess the approximate number.

Once the Queen of Meereen agrees to his marriage alliance, he is confident that it won't be long before he can rely on his own people to swallow them all up, including Daenerys and the dragons, who will all be his.

If Daenerys of Qarth almost traded herself for a few ships, she wouldn't do it even for five hundred.

This is no longer a matter of increased value; rather, it's that she no longer needs to sacrifice herself for those benefits. Moreover, Drogon seems to have opposed her using herself as a bargaining chip ever since Qarth.

"I'm sorry, I can't grant your request. Please leave!" Daenerys refused decisively.

Euron was slightly surprised by Daenerys's refusal; he had five hundred ships, not the fifty that Yara had stolen from the Iron Islands.

Euron had no idea that Daenerys would be so decisive and resolute, given that her own troops were all capable and skilled warriors who could influence the fate of the Iron Throne.

And isn't she afraid that if she gets angry, she will storm Meereen and make her lose her queen status?

Thinking of this, Euron looked up at the two figures in the distant sky.

Does she really think she can withstand his 50,000-strong army with just two dragons? Euron has already ignored Drogon's beautiful little dragon; no matter how pretty it is, it won't be able to unleash its power until it grows up.

"Hmph!"

Euron chuckled twice as he looked at Daenerys. Even if he didn't have that item, he still had ways to deal with the two dragons that hadn't yet grown up.

"There is something I believe Her Majesty the Queen has heard of." Euron did not want to escalate the situation to the point of life and death unless absolutely necessary.

He decided to bring this somewhat arrogant queen to her senses and tell her not to think that having three dragons like Aegon the Conqueror would allow her to conquer the world.

Upon hearing Euron's words, Daenerys suddenly had a bad feeling. After hesitating for a moment, she asked, "What is it?"

"Dragon Horn!"

These four words instantly changed Daenerys's expression, making her breathing quicken. She forced herself to suppress her shock and barely managed to maintain her composure.

[What is that?]

Drogon, sitting on Daenerys's shoulder, was also puzzled. It was the first time he had heard of the Dragon Horn, and he didn't understand why Daenerys's expression changed so drastically after hearing it.
