POV : Kang-Dae
Which foreign taxi?
But all in all, it was a perfectly reasonable decision.
After a day of work, a few hours of sleep and another argument with my roommates will do me good.
So I got in.
My bank account had taken a beating lately, but I still had enough left to pay for the ride without having to sell a kidney. Might as well take advantage of this opportunity before it disappears.
I watch the city lights go by behind the window, then my eyes grow heavy.
The driver had turned on the radio, a monotonous voice was talking about a new advertising campaign for a Game, which made me think of the golden ticket tucked away in my wallet.
I still hadn't scratched it.
I could do it once I get back…
..
.
.
I'm sleepy
– hhummmm….
My mind grew dark.
Get out of this taxi
Out
Don't sleep
I have to go out
It's a trap.
Wake up
Wake up
WAKE UP!
–
– AHAAAAAaaaaaaaa.....
I'm soaked, my head hurts, and my mouth is dry.
I raised my eyes and looked around in all directions.
Where am I?
a woman was lying a few meters away from me. Her clothes were wrinkled, her hair stuck to her face and her irregular breathing barely raised her chest.
I approached cautiously, using my hands for support as I moved forward.
– Hey!
She doesn't react.
She seems so exhausted that she can no longer keep her eyes open.
I gently shook her by the shoulder.
- wake up.
She stirred and abruptly raised her head.
– WHAT'S GOING ON?
– Kim…you don't look like you anymore, you don't resemble yourself.
But she just frowned and pushed my hand away in annoyance.
She placed a hand against the wall, stood up, and moved further and further away from me.
I almost laughed.
Still stuck here, I keep having sleep paralysis or dreaming about getting out of this taxi.
I don't want anything anymore, that's it, I can't wait any longer.
"Mom..." I whispered.
