"Although the worlds are different, many legends are the same."
"You mean other worlds also have gods with the same name?"
"More or less."
Rin nodded. "As far as I know, there are several kinds of Sun Wukong."
For example, within the Great God Circle encompassed by the Soul Land worldview, there is the Sun Wukong from the Only I Am Immortal world.
The Type-Moon World, in theory, should also have a deity named Sun Wukong.
That makes two Sun Wukongs.
As for those like the Sun Wukong from Dragon Ball, who only share the name but are fundamentally different, there are countless more.
"Although I haven't encountered him yet, when it comes to a truly powerful Great Sage Equal to Heaven."
Such a description, at the very least, points to a multiversal entity, a powerful existence who can create and destroy universes as if playing.
Of course, whether such a Sun Wukong truly exists.
Rin could not say.
After all, he still had not encountered a worldview derived from mythology.
A so-called mythological worldview is a purely mythological world.
For example, Greek mythology, Egyptian mythology, Norse mythology, and Chinese mythology are independent worldviews originating from a single universe.
There is no concept of East or West within them, because such distinctions do not exist.
Furthermore, similar settings actually contain contradictions and ambiguities.
Luo Hao did not take such things seriously. "To me, such things are too ethereal. They seem more like products of human fabrication and wishful thinking."
"Hmm, I think so too."
Rin also suspected that purely mythological worlds might not exist.
Even if they did, they would probably be very difficult to enter.
They are more like the cornerstones and pillars that construct infinite worlds, radiating culture to other worlds in some form, ultimately forming the prototypes of individual universes.
This was likely part of the information about origins that Rin obtained through Void God during his exploration of the endless universe.
"Although such a Sun Wukong is hard to imagine."
"I generally call it the prototype."
"Excluding the prototype Sun Wukong, I do know a Great Sage Equal to Heaven whose strength is far above yours right now."
"Oh?"
Luo Hao raised an eyebrow. "Just me, and not us?"
"Hmm."
Rin chuckled. "Because even if it is her, with the strength of my true body, I can still fight her. The outcome would be hard to predict."
He was referring to the Great Sage Equal to Heaven Sun Wukong from Problem Children.
That individual is a three-digit being from Hakoniwa, a world that possesses countless gods and Buddhas.
Three-digit beings, also known as omnipotent realms, possess terrifying power capable of easily destroying a universe.
The current Rin, if evaluated using Hakoniwa's standards, is roughly at this level.
However, once Rin takes all the Ultimate Skills from here back with him.
Rin felt that he might be able to reach the limit of a three-digit being, and would not be too far from a two-digit being.
If he truly reached the level of a two-digit being.
Rin would even dare to let Violet actively search for the Hakoniwa universe, then contend for sovereignty with those gods and Buddhas.
"You..."
Luo Hao was somewhat surprised. "Are you that strong?"
Not good.
Luo Hao suddenly felt that she might have been tricked by Rin.
According to him, the one here was just a projected avatar.
His true body remained in another world.
And once the matters here were concluded, Rin would recall his avatar, taking what he gained in this world back to his own.
For some reason, Luo Hao no longer wanted to fight Rin.
This was not because she was afraid of him.
Rather, she wanted to fight his true body.
What was the point of fighting an avatar?
If she was going to fight, she would fight the strongest one.
"Our battle can be postponed."
Luo Hao said, "I agree to go to another world with you."
"Hmm?"
"You agreed? No other requests?"
"As long as you agree to fight me, I ask for nothing else."
Luo Hao wanted to continue to grow stronger, then when she reached her peak, fight Rin.
She admitted that she was somewhat calculating.
She had previously said that fighting an opponent fairly was a foolish act.
But now.
After realizing that she might not be Rin's opponent, Luo Hao thought of delaying the fight. Or rather, letting him take her to the so-called Cardinal World to obtain power there.
Luo Hao had her own pride and confidence.
Since Rin could become so strong, she believed she could do the same.
However, being taken to a broader world by him meant she owed him a favor.
Luo Hao was clear about gratitude and grudges.
"Regardless of win or loss, I will repay this favor."
Regardless of a master-servant relationship, Luo Hao simply intended to help Rin as repayment.
Whether it was fighting or managing matters.
She was willing to obey him for a period of time.
"I see..."
Rin pondered for a moment, then said, "Since it has come to this, why not add a little extra incentive?"
"If my command makes you feel conflicted, you can refuse."
"Furthermore, the timing of our engagement is up to you."
"As long as you feel you have a chance to defeat me, you can challenge me at any time."
"The number of challenges is unlimited, until you completely admit defeat."
These four conditions were entirely beneficial to Luo Hao and brought no advantage to Rin.
But was that really the case?
Of course not.
Rin's request was very simple, to establish a Dependent contract with Luo Hao, making her his Dependent.
Once she became a Dependent, they would stand on the same side.
The subsequent matters of victory, defeat, and the sibling pact would all become internal affairs, resolved privately.
Rin would not need to worry about Luo Hao's loyalty.
Once her status as a Dependent was established, there would be no room for regret.
And those four conditions were his way of showing respect to Luo Hao, as well as a form of encouragement to her.
