"I'll take you to see it."
Rimuru said as she led everyone forward.
Their destination was the labyrinth Rin had built in the Sealed Cave, the one that led to Konosuba World.
"Wow!"
"Sugoi!"
Ramiris was also a master at creating labyrinths.
But she was like a programmer with superb coding skills who suffered from a lack of artists and good game planners, resulting in labyrinths that even dogs would not play.
Now, after witnessing Rin's intricately designed labyrinth, it was as if a new world had opened before her.
"This is a labyrinth!"
It was not just Ramiris whose eyes lit up.
Milim and Guy were equally captivated by the intricate design of the labyrinth.
As the group passed through the labyrinth, a brand new universe came into view.
"This is..."
"A new world?"
It was Guy and Milim's first time leaving the Cardinal Universe.
The aura of the new world and the many unfamiliar rules gave them a tremendous shock.
In terms of strength, any one of them was enough to become a world-ending Monster God in the Konosuba Universe, a bona fide super villain.
But it had to be admitted that the uniqueness of Konosuba World and the Konosuba Universe gave the two women the refreshing sensation of leaping from a small pond into a larger lake.
"I feel that my abyss god is gaining new power."
"Mhm."
Milim also clenched her fists and waved them up and down in front of her. "Me too, me too, the air in the new world is so fresh!"
"It's not just fresh air, Milim-chan."
Rimuru corrected her. "It's because your power has expanded from the original single world to two."
This was like a computer going from single-core operation to dual-core.
Their computing power, upper limit, and potential would continue to increase as they came into contact with more worlds.
"So..."
Guy asked, "Rin-sama, are you planning to connect one world after another to the Cardinal World like this?"
"And what I need to do is prevent any dangerous fellows from invading the Cardinal World through these pathways?"
"About that..."
Rimuru scratched her head and said, "I think, with Violet-san present, no one should be able to sneak in."
Almost all passages were under Violet's surveillance.
The path itself had already been set with many obstacles.
And under multiple layers of restrictions, it was almost impossible for any powerhouse beyond the standard to invade the Cardinal World without anyone noticing.
"What about that?"
"There are other kinds."
Rimuru raised her hand and used magic to shape a giant sphere in the air, which was clearly a star map of the Cardinal Universe.
"Guy-san, please look."
She enlarged the cosmic star map, then marked the location of the Cardinal World. "This is the Cardinal World, and this is Konosuba World."
Konosuba World was located within another cosmic bubble.
The two were connected by a single line.
This line spanned across the void and connected the two universes.
"The Konosuba Universe is too vast, we cannot directly digest it."
"But there are some worlds..."
As Rimuru spoke, one point of light after another appeared on the outer edge of the Cardinal Universe's sphere.
These points of light were also universes, but their size was very small, completely incomparable to the Cardinal Universe and the Konosuba Universe.
"Their size is very small," Rimuru said. "Therefore, there is no need to follow a step-by-step process, we can absorb them directly."
The "size" here did not mean the Otherworld was small.
Rather, it meant the new universe and the Cardinal Universe had a very high degree of similarity and overlap.
In that case, even if the Cardinal Universe swallowed the new universe, the former could maintain its original state while only adding a few variables to the Cardinal World.
Or it could directly create a planet and place it near the Cardinal World, allowing it to operate independently.
"Through such means, new continents will soon appear."
"New continents?"
Guy's eyes lit up. "You mean Rin-sama intends to expand the Cardinal World?"
"That is basically it."
Rimuru nodded. "However, since this is the first attempt, we will first relocate a continent and see how it goes."
As she said this, Rimuru added a model of a continent to the southeast corner of the Cardinal World.
This continent was not particularly vast, only about one-third the size of the Cardinal World.
"The races on it are similar to those in the Monster Nation, but overall much weaker."
"This is not just 'much weaker,' is it?"
Milim completely ignored Rimuru's feelings and said directly, "Does the strongest guy there even have B-Rank power?"
"After integration, they should be able to reach B-Rank."
The integration Rimuru spoke of referred to the blessings Rin had previously prepared specifically for Otherworld visitors so they could better integrate into the rules of the Cardinal World.
Otherwise, if people from Earth came to the Cardinal World, they would be crushed by the gravity here immediately.
To prevent that from happening,
Rin would adjust the power of visitors from different worldviews.
As much as possible, he would make their displayed power uniform.
In other words, if you could punch apart a mountain in another world, then after arriving in the Cardinal World, regardless of the difference in material strength between the two worlds, Rin would either compensate or weaken it.
In short, everything would be based on their respective displayed power.
"B-Rank..."
Guy's mouth twitched slightly. She felt a bit silly for being so serious just now. "If I went to such a continent, it would collapse immediately, wouldn't it?"
She was worried that once she descended onto the new continent, the Demon Lord's aura she released passively would be enough to sink the whole continent.
"Naturally, it will not be that simple." Rimuru understood Guy's embarrassment and added, "Soon, the new continent will connect to another world, and over there..."
"It is very similar to Japan before my reincarnation!"
According to Rin's observations, this Otherworld would soon connect to a modern world in the 21st century.
Thus, modern armies with firearms would enter the medieval Otherworld and begin a merciless conquest.
"Firearms..."
Guy naturally knew what those were. "The maximum power of those things is probably only equivalent to a single nuclear strike, right?"
A nuclear strike meant an attack capable of causing a nuclear explosion.
This was roughly the average level of Special A-Rank.
For those with higher talent, reaching A-Rank was not impossible.
(To be continued.)
