Chapter 107 - [107] Revenge

Nearly four kilometers in the air, Killer Bee cut through the sky with uneven momentum, his ink-formed wings straining against the rushing wind. His body was enveloped in Gyūki Chakra Mode, mud brown chakra rippling across his skin as he focused to maintain his ink wings which he was not yet accustomed to for sustained aerial maneuvering. Such high-altitude flight at such speeds were unfamiliar territory even to him.

His chakra sensing extended outward scanning like a radar, but its reliable radius remained limited to roughly three kilometers. According to En Oyashiro's hurried explanation, the battlefield should be about six kilometers from Bee's previous position. He calculated quickly and accelerated, pushing through air resistance despite the instability in his wing constructs.

Seconds later he reached the approximate location.

The problem was that he was still four kilometers above the ground.

He had never practiced proper deceleration from such height.

Bee attempted to angle his ink wings backward to reduce speed, but the turbulence caught one wing unevenly. His balance shifted violently and the ink membrane destabilized under abrupt pressure, and his trajectory faltered.

He lost control as his body spun sideways, wings tearing apart into streaks of splattered ink as gravity reclaimed him. The wind roared past his ears as he plummeted toward the forest below.

He crashed three kilometers away from the intended drop point which is the battlefield.

[A/N: Bee fall location <--3km--> Actual Battlefield <---6 km---> Mc & Minato location in village]

The impact shook the earth.

Bee slammed into the ground with enough force to crater soil and send debris flying in all directions. He rolled uncontrollably, smashing through thick tree trunks that splintered under his momentum. Barks and leaves exploded into the air as he tumbled violently across the terrain before finally skidding to a halt in a churned stretch of earth.

There was a brief pause.

Then Bee stood up, shook dirt from his shoulders, and muttered in his rhythmic tone.

"I fell far away, that flying was a mess. No time to stall, let's clean this stress and hit the home."

Without hesitation, he made boar -> ox hand seals and activated one of his advanced sensory techniques.

Ink surged outward from his body in an explosive burst, dispersing into hundreds of thousands of tiny droplets that scattered in every direction like a storm of black rain. The droplets spread rapidly, coating surfaces, brushing against leaves, stones, trunks, anything it came in contact with. Unlike traditional chakra sensing, which detected only chakra signatures, Bee's Ink Rain Sensing at Will technique allowed him to gather detailed physical data from anything the droplets touched. However, it was time taking to use.

Within few seconds, information flooded into his mind.

He processed terrain structures, residual chakra traces, and the shapes of moving bodies within a three-kilometer radius. Roughly five meters around the original battlefield, he detected dozens of tri-pronged kunai embedded across the landscape.

Yellow Flash of Konoha.

Killer Bee's expression hardened. He was not afraid of Minato Namikaze. He was concerned for Kaien.

Before he could move further, one of the Flying Thunder God kunai flared and Minato teleported to that kunai, appearing within the ink rain almost instantly. Bee felt the arrival through the ink droplets as clearly as he was seeing Minato and beside him was a boy he didn't imagine... it was Kaien.

Back at the village, Minato had sensed Bee's massive chakra presence during his descent and had chosen to reposition to the battlefield to show him what it actually means take revenge.

Bee did not hesitate.

He formed Tiger, snake, and boar seals in rapid succession. An Ink Clone manifested directly in front of Minato, materializing from residual droplets in the air itself. This particular technique allowed Bee to spawn clones anywhere within the range of his Ink Rain Sensing at will, without needing physical proximity.

Dozens of ink-clones which looked like Killer Bee erupted around Minato simultaneously, each one lunging forward with synchronized aggression. Their bodies were semi-solid, reinforced with chakra to withstand at least brief physical engagement against some like Minato.

Minato reacted without visible strain.

He already held Kaien firmly at his side, one arm looped around the boy's shoulder. He would not repeat the mistake he had made when Kushina had been taken from him years ago. His remaining hand flashed through space as he teleported repeatedly between his already scattered kunai network. Each reappearance was accompanied by a clean, efficient strike.

Blades sliced across blackened Bee's ink limbs.

The real Killer Bee, still three kilometers away when he initiated the clone assault, dropped into full Gyūki Chakra Mode and sprinted at maximum speed towards Minato. The unstable wings would only slow him down on the ground unlike the sky. The earth cracked under each step as he tore through forest terrain.

Only ten seconds had passed since he initiated Ink Rain Sensing at Will technique and one second had passed since Minato's arrival.

One final second remained before Bee reached them as he could feel all clones were already nullified.

That second felt stretched.

Minato stood calmly amid dissipating ink clone, Kaien pinned against his side like captured prey.

Killer Bee arrived in a burst of motion, he halted directly in front of Minato, chakra cloak flaring violently around him.

Minato did not move his blade. His eyes remained cold.

Killer Bee's gaze shifted briefly to Kaien, assessing for injury. Kaien's face was pale but conscious. Bee felt a flicker of relief buried beneath his combat focus.

Minato spoke first.

"I could have returned directly to Konoha," he said evenly. "But after sensing your arrival, I chose to come here instead. Darui's plan was clever... trying to protect the Kaien by playing the impostor. Just as I was about to take him, Kaien revealed himself to save Darui when I probed I would take both of them. I must commend this little one for risking his life to protect that boy. And Darui was not bad either he was willing to sacrifice himself to protect this one."

His grip on Kaien tightened subtly.

"I wanted to show you what it feels like," Minato continued, voice devoid of warmth as he looked at the one responsible for capturing kushina, "to have someone precious taken from you. The way you took Kushina from me."

Killer Bee's chakra flared brighter in response.

"You speak of pain," Bee replied, his tone retaining its playful cadence for the first time. "But war has taken from everyone, not just you. You konoha used the dead and cowardly jutsu to injure our Raikage."

Minato's eyes sharpened. He said quietly. "You kumo shinobi severed the only connection I had to her."

"Oh... The mark sure was at an unusual spot," Bee blushed as he said.

Minato's chakra surged and his grip on Kaien's shoulder tightened in response to Bee's tone and demeanor.

A/N: Kaien came out clean and sacrificed himself to save Darui. While Darui tried to sacrifice himself to save Kaien... a detailed back story will be revealed later and what caused Kaien to come clean. And Minato brings Kaien to flaunt in front of Killer Bee and he was angry that Kumo might have r*ped kushina as the FTG link was served or sealed, they wouldn't have if they did not know the location of the seal which is on her b*tt.
