Should he say this was exactly the Harry Potter Draco knew?
Voldemort's attention had clearly already been drawn away by Draco, yet in the very next second, Harry Potter jumped out again to provoke him.
Although Draco had never gone out of his way to protect Harry Potter, for Snape's sake, he had still casually helped him out.
Unfortunately, this Chosen One did not seem inclined to accept the favor.
Watching Voldemort turn back around, Draco did not act rashly. Instead, he lowered his eyes toward Harry Potter's position.
It had to be said that Draco was rather concerned about what Harry Potter had said.
"Horcruxes... It seems there are secrets I don't know about."
Speaking of Horcruxes, although Draco had already made rough guesses about most of them, there were still a few he had no clue about for the time being.
At the very least, he was still not confident about the locations of the sixth and seventh Horcruxes.
At that thought, the corner of Draco's eye could not help drifting toward the giant serpent coiled around Voldemort.
...
While Draco was observing in secret, our Dark Lord seemed to have truly been angered by Harry Potter.
The wand he had just lowered was raised again, pointing straight at Harry Potter.
It was worth noting that, whether Voldemort had realized something or not, the wand he was using was not the Elder Wand, but another wand he had taken from some unknown wizard he had killed.
And in that instant, a bolt of green lightning tore through the originally dark night sky.
It was the Killing Curse.
"Avada Kedavra!"
"Potter!"
Boom!
Should it be said that this was truly a Killing Curse cast by Voldemort?
It was clearly the same magic, yet the effect it produced was entirely different.
Just the terrifying crater and the commotion it caused were far beyond any Killing Curse an ordinary wizard could cast.
This also showed, indirectly, just how much pressure Snape and Lucius had been under earlier.
"Cough, cough, cough!"
As the smoke and dust dispersed, Snape appeared, pinning Harry Potter to the ground.
It seemed that before the Killing Curse could hit Harry Potter, Snape, whose nerves had already been stretched tight, had seized the right moment and saved him.
Before Harry Potter could recover from the attack, Snape pulled him up and shoved him behind him.
Voldemort showed no intention of continuing the attack. Instead, he fixed his viper-like gaze on Harry Potter.
"Very good. If that is your choice, then Potter, is your shield this time your dear Defence Against the Dark Arts professor?"
As he spoke, Voldemort's wand slowly turned toward the pale-faced Snape.
Clearly, saving Harry Potter just now had not come without a price.
"No one! Your Horcruxes are long gone. There's only you and me. We can't both live. Only one of us survives. One of us is going to leave forever!"
One of us?
It sounded like Harry Potter's rage and provocation, but to Draco's ears, there seemed to be something more behind it.
Besides, looking at that giant serpent, Draco did not believe Voldemort's Horcruxes had all been found and destroyed.
