Chapter 874 - Chapter 874: The Destroyed Horcrux

It looked as if Draco had placed all his attention on Voldemort before him.

But if one observed closely, it was possible to notice that Draco's gaze kept drifting, almost imperceptibly, toward the edge of the battlefield.

As if something there was drawing his attention.

Looking at Voldemort, whose smile was slowly fading, Draco frowned as he gripped his new wand. "Just in case, it's best to keep everyone's attention on me."

No one could hear Draco's mutter.

But no one had missed his provocation of Voldemort just now, either.

And although Draco's actions were indeed a boost to morale, to be honest, they did not seem very useful.

After all, doing something like that would only enrage the most terrifying Dark Wizard in the wizarding world. Aside from venting his own anger, it did not seem to serve any purpose.

Just as everyone could not help thinking this, Draco spoke again.

"The diary in the Chamber of Secrets..."

"Hm?"

"Salazar Slytherin's locket..."

"You?!"

"Helga Hufflepuff's Cup..."

"....."

"Rowena Ravenclaw's Diadem..."

Voldemort's scarlet eyes stared at Draco Malfoy with an unreadable meaning.

Others might not understand what these words meant, much less why Draco would say such things at a time like this.

But how could Voldemort fail to hear the connection between them?

Otherwise, Voldemort would not have looked at Draco as if he wanted him to shut his mouth at once.

...

Draco counted on his fingers as he spoke words that made Voldemort more and more furious.

And this was exactly what Draco wanted to see.

Looking relaxed on the surface, while his entire body was actually taut, Draco continued speaking words meant to provoke Voldemort. "That makes four, doesn't it?"

"So it was you!"

"That's right. All four Horcruxes have already been destroyed. So here's the question... how many Horcruxes does our great Dark Lord have left now?"

Infuriating.

There was nothing more infuriating than having someone destroy your plans right in front of you.

Especially in front of the arrogant Voldemort.

That furious expression and surging killing intent nearly made the surrounding wizards drop to their knees.

But Draco's words also made most of the wizards understand the secret of how Voldemort had been able to die and return to life.

"Why?"

"Minerva?"

"Don't you find it strange? Why is Draco provoking him?"

For the members of the Order of the Phoenix, aside from the diary, it was indeed quite surprising that Draco had secretly done so many things.

But compared with that, Minerva McGonagall cared more about why Draco was doing this.

"An enemy who has lost his calm is certainly easier to deal with, but that is not someone who can be judged by common sense..."

Professor McGonagall's worry was something everyone could see.

But perhaps Draco's every move was simply too commanding.

Because of that, everyone overlooked a certain wizard, a House-elf, and... a dragon!
