After regaining his composure from his deprived state, he took two steps and found his feet kicking a dune.
He began climbing it in the sandstorm with almost no visibility beyond one step.
Of course, he didn't forget his spear and water bottle. Spear on his back and bottle on his waist with the belt.
He upgraded the system with 100 points he got last time from hunting the ants.
10 points to level 2 and 50 points to level 3.
But he didn't get inventory or store like big features. His observation skill got upgraded plus he got a holographic diary that notes everything he said.
The system was really harsh this time. So he kept walking straight in the sandstorm...
For 36 hours.
Even the handful of rice he packed with him were finished. Water could keep him alive for two weeks at most. It was also possible that his body would give out before the two week time.
Tolerance to hunger is different for everyone.
So he decided a four day limit walk.
If he didn't anything in that time period, he would return home.
He had been getting one special point everyday by excercising.
1 special point was equal to 100 points or 1 gold coin.
According to TT, he could open inventory at level 5. For that he needed 100+150+200 = 450 points. Like that he needed 250 + 300 + 350 + 400 + 450 = 1750 points for shop at level 10 in the system.
Opening shop with 8 special points he had now wasn't a smart choice. But he wouldn't miss the opportunity once its appeared.
But fortunately, he came out of the sandstorm on the past midnight of June 23.

Without a moment of hesitation he sat down on the top of dune he was standing on while putting his spear right next to him.
Of course, Leo Yeager had been cultivating a breathing technique for years without yielding a good result.
He didn't have anything but that F-rank breathing technique in his mind to meditate so he tried to feel energy in his most sensitive part, his sleeping dragon that rose high and hard when he imagined himself fucking Mikasa in doggy style.
And like a magic, he felt his dragon burning with mysterious energy, 'Whoa! For a second I got scared to get injured there but this power I am feeling between legs, is spreading all throughout my body.'
'I know no one cultivate like this but it is not a bad feeling. Normally, a weakling like Leo can't even meditate until his core is filled so he doesn't know his limit. But I think I about to find out the limit of my core and make breakthrough.'
But night was cold in desert. Even the small amount of yang energy he could cultivate was limited because the night had more yin energy than the yang energy.
So he decided to sleep in sandstorm which was some steps away. It was like a fixed area and safe from monsters and ghosts.
During the day, he cultivated the yang energy in optimal conditions including bathing himself in water to keep his head cool and stay alive.
He didn't skip the excercise part.
To his surprise, he reached his limit in less than one hour which was 62 years of spiritual energy and broke through to second level easily.
He didn't know when he would get such opportunity but cultivation was helping him keep his body energetic without food a little. So he cultivated until evening.

His stats didn't increase of his frail body. Having a large amount of spiritual energy only have him some tolerance over hunger and less fatigue. But since he couldn't control his spiritual energy freely, he couldn't increase his stats.
System wasn't providing those cheating stat points like game that increase a character's strength without the need of understanding the power like a true cultivator.
Since there was nothing to do in night he decided to spend the 4 special points to open the inventory and stored some sand.
To kill time he was experimenting with system. He looked at a point in midair and ordered, "Slowly pour sand from there."
And like a magic, sand began to fall from the midair like a small fountain without any tangible support like tiger statue with its mouth pouring water.
"Not bad. This can be used to bury monsters. Okay, system! Filled the inventory completely with sand."
He said but he had to lift the sand with his hands for the system to accept it as an item to store in inventory.
It took an hour long boring chore but he managed to filled the inventory.

He could ordered the system to shoot sand too but he could not hardened them or change their state.
Next day was June 24. He initiated his march on the dunes in hope for finding anything useful including hunting monsters.
But the system didn't get him any task for hunting and anything. It was his last day. He would turn back to west if he didn't find anything.
But luck was on his side because he caught the sight of an oasis after walking for half a day but took four hours to reach it.
It was a small oasis with coastal plants and trees, ground clad in green lush grasses and a small lake in the middle of it this small paradise.
He drank the water which wasn't any special so he decided to look for the special reward the system told him about. But it was already dark, too dark to find any clue for something special. So he thought to explore it next day before drinking coconut water and eating the white inside part of coconuts and lying on grasses nearby the pond.
The trees in the oasis were not taller than 20 feet so he could climb them easily. He tried to cultivate in day but he didn't make any breakthrough as if he had hit a wall.
The small pond was as big as tennis court with four feet depth maximum. There were some harmless fish and plants. He didn't find anything dangerous there.
However...
While he was sleeping the calm water in pond moved violently and formed a humanoid head on the surface. It had a very blurry features but hair seemed to be long like a woman. Her facewash slim and oval shaped too.
And like a mystery it dissolved into water with a small splashing noise a few seconds later after its appearance.
