An anamoly. Something that shouldn't exist. That's what you were. That's what Maximus Augilleris Steefan is. WAS. A Paradox. A being that doesn't deserve to stand as "God".

The words that Max could hear, couldn't be perceived in a normal sense. He could neither see, nor smell anything yet it felt like he was listening to someone. Someone that is incomprehensible. A system of words that were understable but somehow other-worldly.

Max tried to move his mouth, yet couldn't. It was not really the action that he couldn't, but a fact that he couldn't even understand if his body existed. He tried desperately within his thinking capacity to open his eyes or talk, both proving to be quite difficult.

Where was he? What had happened to his Troupe. Last thing he remembered he and his gang were moving towards the Kingdom of Hibiscus, to rescue his brother, David and Troupe commander, Melissa. He had seen a hooded woman right as he got out of Chuck's room after the late night translating session he had. Max wanted to question her and then that was it. Everything felt dizzy and eventually he was here. A realm where only thoughts existed, but nothing else. This was a totally different experience than the Mindscape , where he had met Abner, The First Avatar of the Perseverance God.

Slick.

Max suddenly felt touch. He was feeling something. Something sticky like a spider's web around his torso and his arms were tied too. Blood was rushing to his brain suddenly. He couldn't feel the breeze or any kind of wind, but his skin could feel like he was somewhere. Her he couldn't move his arms, and also his mouth, as he felt the sticky "webs" around his mouth. His eyes were shut closely and for some reason, they refused to listen to him.

With as much effort as he could give, he tried opening his eyes. He was technically not even breathing, but he felt as if he was suffocating. Just the thought of knowing you are somewhere but couldn't see, was a scary thought. And in what felt like a thousand years, he finally did what he tried to. His eyes opened. Instead of flashing light, he found darkness.

Opening your eyes and seeing nothing was the same as closing them, but there was a stark difference. Out of everything in the dark, ahead of him, be could see a towering purple coloured pillar. It had tons of weird engraving on them, making it seem more "divine". He realised why his head hurt, since he was upside down, tied up.

Max tried moving frantically , trying to turn around to see where the pillar came from. Slowly, with all the shaking, he moved in a way , which allowed him to turn the opposite way. There he saw two more pillars with the same carvings and patterns. And all three of the were connected to a piece of land far below him. The land was so far below, that Max genuinely believed the place to be as big as a city , but looked like a tiny block to him.

Max thought to himself, "what the hell", but couldn't say it out loud.

???: He has awaken, my lord. Me very sorry's. Me tried, to sow his eyes closed.

Max wondered who the terrifyingly deep voice belonged to. It also sounded very loud. Also, he heard about someone's eyes being sewn together, in horrible English.

???: It's fine, my humble servant. You couldn't hold him in anyway. This is still in HIS mind.

Max tried turning again, by struggling to see the owner of the first voice. It was a huge spider monstrosity that had nine different eyes spread across it's face. The eyes were glowing in a purplish hue, while it eight different limbs were so huge that Max couldn't even see the end of it. It had sticky thread like substance coming out of its limbs and those were connected to the pillars and then to Max. It was obvious that the spider was his captor.

The second voice he heard came from below. He then tried to face down and saw multiple stones flying towards him from the city, as one of them was someone he knew. Mr. Time. Max was kinda annoyed seeing a familiar face, but then there were other stones, or rather slabs that flew closer go him. All these slabs had a single person on them, one of them having the God of Time. The rest, of which there were about nine to ten of them, he didn't recognize. All of them had elaborate outfits with tons of carvings and gold in them, almost resembling the God of Time.

Max could make a guess that they too were fellow Lower Gods.

Mr. Time: We meet again, Maximus Augilleris Steefan.

Max: Mmmh mmph hhkmmm mamamh

Max was trying to converse with the strings in his mouth. It genuinely annoyed Mr. Time.

Mr. Time: Can you stop doing that? The reason we had your mouth shut was so we couldn't hear you. Yet you make it even more annoying.

Mr. Time continued to talk, but Max ignored him to continue making sounds, to the point that ut made the literal God of Time uncomfortable.

Mr. Time: Okayy fine! Release his mouth!

One of the Gods surrounding them quickly flew a bit closer, to place his hand on Max's mouth. Max felt uncomfortable , but he didn't stop struggling. The Gods touch made the webs melt immediately.

Max: Pftt...*koff koff*. Ahhmm... ahh. Damn you all acting like kidnappers. Aren't you all supposed to be Gods.

???: Insolent wimp! How dare you speak back to us, you mere filthy human!!

Max: Ohhh, so you are THOSE kind of Gods huh? You all sound and are really pathetic.

They all looked at each other dumbfounded. One of the Gods looked at Time and nodded. He felt the wisest in the bunch.

???: So that's why you insisted on shutting him up. He really is annoying to listen to.

Okay...maybe not so wise.

Max: Okay, "humble" Gods.....can one of you explain me why the hell I'm here??

They all looked at each other, almost as if they were smiling. But they had masks on, so it was difficult to tell. But it did look like it.

Mr. Time: Why you ask? It's very simple. We are gonna keep you trapped in your mind until the day of Emergence, so that you don't involve yourself with the events of the universe. It shall be destroyed completely so that life may persevere again.
