Kazriel stopped moving for a moment in the air, surrounded by floating blood spikes. His wings spread behind him, and the purple flames on his spear burned brighter.
He pointed the spear toward Amon.
"You still remember this flame, don't you, Vetaal?" Kazriel said with a calm smile.
Inside Amon's mind, Vetaal's expression turned serious.
"So you can use that even in this body," Vetaal replied.
Kazriel smiled slightly. "Only a little. This human body cannot handle much of it. But it is enough to kill you."
Amon could feel something was wrong now. Very wrong.
Even from far away, he could feel heat from that purple flame. Not heat that burned the skin, but something that felt like it burned mana, blood, and even the soul.
'What is that flame?' Amon asked inside his mind. His tone was tense.
