Amon, for some reason, suddenly felt the urge to cut off the incoming call.
But before he could do it, Selena's hand moved toward his in a flash.
Of course, she was much stronger and faster than him, so he barely had any time to react.
She effortlessly snatched the communication crystal from his hand.
Then held it calmly in her own. Her red eyes gleamed with interest.
"Hey! What do you think you're doing?!" Amon panicked the moment he realized Selena had taken away his communication crystal.
Selena didn't reply.
Instead, she casually sent a small amount of mana into the crystal, properly connecting it to the other side.
"Amon?" Scarlett's voice came from the crystal.
Amon stared at Selena in horror.
After connecting the call, Selena simply handed the crystal back to him.
Amon accepted it with trembling hands while gulping nervously.
"Amon?" Scarlett's calm yet sweet voice came again from the other side.
