The dance came to an end.
Amon and Seraphina were still standing side by side.
The awkward distance that had been between them earlier was gone now. Somewhere during the dance, without either of them noticing exactly when, they had drawn closer together. Both of them remained still for a moment, caught up in the lingering feeling of what they had just performed.
Adelia, watching from nearby, glanced at the two of them every so often. She noticed the change but chose not to comment on it.
When the performance finally ended, the crowd around them broke into applause.
"That was amazing! It was something completely new," Eliana said, her elf ears twitching with excitement.
"Yes. It carried real energy. Strong and full of power," Aisha added, choosing her words carefully in her own blunt way.
Marcus folded his arms and nodded slowly. "What artistry. I would like to see this performance again sometime."
