Myles looked at Blake without the slightest change in expression.
"No."
"Huh, why?"
"I won't allow it."
Blake wrapped his arms around Myles just a little tighter.
"Of course I have to do this, I want to."
Myles' gaze remained unwavering.
"Why?"
Blake looked toward the ceiling for a moment before answering.
"Well, I don't want to be on bad terms with your friends."
"They aren't my friends."
"They are."
Myles' eyes narrowed ever so slightly.
"They aren't."
Blake folded his arms.
"You're doing all of this together, they have stayed together all these years. You're even planning to die together... if that's not friendship, then what is?"
"It doesn't matter what you call it, I won't let you act recklessly."
Blake scoffed.
"You seriously underestimate me. I can handle myself much better than you think, especially in these circumstances."
"Explain."
Blake tilted his head.
"Hm?"
"Explain your plan. If it's reasonable, I'll even consider it."
