The conversation he had just had with the other two was nothing short of... well, full of suspicions.
Blake scratched the back of his head as he sat down on a bench.
'It was pretty obvious, they could've at least tried to hide it.'
They hadn't outright accused him of anything, but their questions, their expressions, the way they kept looking at him...
Yeah, they had doubts. And what was he supposed to do about that?
He had done the best he could.
There wasn't exactly a convenient, completely truthful explanation he could give them. Not unless he wanted to throw his entire life into chaos.
Blake sighed, leaning back against the bench and closed his eyes.
He felt drained.
These past few days had been rough, obviously, but this level of exhaustion was strange. He hadn't even done anything particularly strenuous today.
Maybe he wasn't sleeping properly. That had to be it.
