Chapter 320 - Chapter 320 – The Sisters Reunite, Frost Gets One-Shotted

"I… guess it counts," the teacher said, sounding like he was on the verge of tears.

Sharpner was speechless.

Are none of you going to do anything about me?

I'm still lying here on the floor.

Is now really the time to argue over whether that was worth two points or three?

At least help me up first!

"Uh… are you okay? I'm really sorry about that… I didn't expect the dunk to go off target… Looks like I still haven't trained enough," Gohan said apologetically as he pulled Sharpner to his feet.

"You bastard! You did that on purpose, didn't you?" Sharpner roared, grabbing Gohan by the collar.

"I'm really sorry," Gohan said again.

Sharpner shoved him away, veins bulging on his forehead. He looked ready to punch him.

Still, he knew Gohan probably had not done it on purpose.

Who deliberately dunks a basketball into somebody's head?

"Hahaha! I'm dying!" Erasa laughed without restraint, stomping her feet as she doubled over.

"Stop laughing!" Sharpner shouted.

That only made Erasa laugh harder.

The rest of the class burst into laughter too.

Still, one thing was now obvious: Gohan's athletic talent was absurd.

The guy had jumped from the three-point line for a dunk.

Was he even human?

"Gohan-nii, you were amazing!" Kale clapped excitedly.

"Damn it! I'm not letting this go!" Sharpner clenched his fists.

The game continued.

Sharpner caught the ball and charged toward Gohan's side of the court.

Gohan immediately moved in to defend.

"Country boy, getting past you is easy," Sharpner snorted. Stepping forward, he dribbled the ball rapidly beneath his leg and smirked. "Well? Can you stop this?"

Smack!

With one casual swipe, Gohan knocked the ball clean out of Sharpner's hands.

Sharpner froze.

He stood there in stunned disbelief.

How did he even hit the ball?

I didn't see a thing.

The ball flew toward the sideline.

Kale sprinted after it, caught it in one hand, then hugged it and ran straight toward the other team's hoop.

"Traveling!" the teacher shouted.

Kale fell silent.

So did Videl.

She really doesn't know how to play basketball at all.

How is she literally running with the ball?

That class left a deep impression on Videl, Sharpner, and the rest of the class because of Gohan and Kale's performance.

The day passed quickly.

Soon, the bell rang.

Gohan and Kale packed up their things and got ready to head home.

"Hey, have you two decided what kind of club you want to join?" Sharpner asked as he walked over.

"Oh… well… we haven't decided yet," Gohan answered.

"You should join the boxing club. You're both stronger than I expected. You could turn into pretty good fighters," Sharpner suggested.

"The boxing club? That boring club?" Kale shook her head and rejected it on the spot. "If Gohan-nii and I joined, nobody there would be able to beat either of us."

"What's that supposed to mean? You think you're stronger than everyone in the boxing club?" Sharpner snorted, looking at Kale with open contempt. "Just because you're athletic doesn't mean you'd be good at boxing too. Boxing is about strength and skill. Being good at sports isn't enough."

Kale was about to snap back, but Gohan cut in first. "Uh… Kale and I don't really want to join any clubs for now… well…"

"Oh, right! Gohan's house is really far away, so he doesn't have time for after-school activities!" Erasa happened to walk over just then, helping Gohan out while taking the chance to be friendly. "Gohan, let's walk home together. Can you escort me part of the way?"

As she said that, she looked at Kale with a hint of provocation.

Kale glared back.

Gohan said nothing to Erasa.

He had already promised Kale he would not talk to her.

"You can't talk? Then just nod or shake your head," Erasa said with an understanding smile.

Gohan quickly shook his head.

Erasa fell silent.

He's good-looking, but Kale keeps him on way too tight a leash.

What a waste.

"Hmph. Gohan-nii and I only have room for two in our vehicle," Kale said smugly.

"You could always move to Satan City," Sharpner suggested, still unwilling to give up.

"Let's go, Kale," Gohan said.

"Yes, Gohan-nii," Kale replied obediently with a nod.

The two of them left school together.

The moment they were gone, Videl quietly followed after them.

Those two are seriously weird.

If they live that far away, why don't they take a car or a plane?

"Gohan-nii, do you really think school here is fun?" Kale asked.

"It is," Gohan said with a nod. "I'm meeting all kinds of people I never would've met before. That's something I didn't really get in the past."

"But I don't think it's fun at all… I don't want to go to school anymore. I'd rather stay home and do online classes with you," Kale muttered, pouting unhappily.

"Mom already decided we should come here," Gohan said thoughtfully. "You can't learn everything through online classes. Studying in person is more effective."

Kale felt a little bitter.

I think school itself is pretty interesting too.

It's just all these girls around Gohan-nii that make me feel uneasy.

"Kale, someone's following us," Gohan said suddenly, sensing something was off. He narrowed his eyes and glanced back, immediately spotting Videl trailing them from behind.

It's her?

Why does my heart start beating faster every time I see her?

This is so strange.

"Let's take off once we get around the next corner," Kale said. She had noticed Videl too, and her feelings became even more complicated.

School's already over, Videl. Can't you leave Gohan alone for once?

You girls are unbelievable.

The two of them turned the corner and shot up into the sky.

Videl hurried after them, only to find empty air. She looked around in all directions, but Gohan and Kale were nowhere to be seen.

"School life really does feel nice," Gohan said with a smile as they flew through the air.

"Not nice at all," Kale muttered under her breath.

"But the Golden Fighter thing is going to take some planning if I don't want people figuring it out," Gohan said quietly. "Kale, let's go talk to Bulma."

"Aunt Bulma? About what?" Kale blinked.

"I want a completely different transformation. That way I can protect justice without exposing myself so easily," Gohan answered.

Kale had not wanted to go at first, but then something occurred to her. "Is Ken-nii at Aunt Bulma's house?"

"I don't know. He probably is," Gohan said, scratching his head.

"Then let's go. I need to ask Ken-nii something," Kale said, suddenly sounding eager.

"All right, then let's head to Capsule Corporation headquarters," Gohan agreed at once.

The two of them sped toward West City.

As they flew, Gohan suddenly sensed three powerful unfamiliar energies off to the front left.

"There are some unknown ki signatures over there," Gohan said, frowning slightly.

"I felt them too, Gohan-nii," Kale nodded.

"But their energy feels pretty clean. They don't seem evil," Gohan said after a moment of thought.

"Should we go check?" Kale asked.

"We should. We can't just ignore them. If they end up doing something bad on Earth, that would be a problem," Gohan replied.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

The two of them turned into bright streaks of light and shot toward the front left.

Less than a minute later, Gohan and Kale spotted a spaceship parked on the ground in the distance.

Standing near it was someone with an extremely familiar appearance.

There were also two strangely dressed young people beside him.

"Frieza! He's still alive?" Gohan blurted out as soon as he saw Frost.

"Then let's finish him off this time so he can never come back," Kale said, clenching her fists.

"You're right! I can't believe this guy is still alive!" Gohan said, feeling confused.

"I'll take care of Frieza. You handle the other two, Gohan-nii," Kale suggested.

"No problem," Gohan agreed without objection.

The two of them dropped rapidly from the sky.

"Frieza, die!" Kale shouted as she charged in, grabbed Frost by the head, and slammed his face straight into the ground.

Frost, Cabba, and Caulifla had only just landed on Earth. They were still standing outside the ship, looking around at the planet.

Cabba and Caulifla had only just sensed two powerful energies approaching.

Frost, on the other hand, could not sense ki at all. It seemed that members of his race simply were not very good at that.

Before any of them could properly react, Gohan and Kale came flying in from afar.

And the most outrageous part was that Kale dived out of the sky and immediately started grinding Frost's face into the dirt.

Frost was completely dazed.

Who is this woman?

What did I ever do to her?

Wait a second!

Did she just call me Frieza?

Damn it all… I'm not Frieza.

I'm Frost!

Frost badly wanted to stop everything and correct her properly. You've got the wrong person!

Stop confusing me with Frieza.

Last time that guy called Goku and Vegeta made the exact same mistake.

Frieza, damn you!

What the hell did you do to these people?

Why does everyone who sees me immediately start throwing hands?

Frost felt like his whole mentality was collapsing.

The sudden turn of events left Cabba and Caulifla stunned too. The two of them looked at each other, still not fully processing what they were seeing.

Where did this terrifying girl come from?

Why is she immediately dragging Frost through the dirt?

Caulifla rubbed her eyes, suddenly feeling that the girl looked familiar.

"Frost!" Cabba snapped back to his senses and moved to help.

This is outrageous!

How can she attack my teammate right in front of me?

But just as Cabba had taken two or three steps, Caulifla grabbed him and yanked him back.

"Caulifla? Don't you see Frost's getting beaten up?" Cabba said, turning to her.

"I do… and the girl beating him up… looks like Kale," Caulifla said excitedly. "Even after all these years, I recognized her right away! This is incredible. There are over six billion people on Earth, and we found her just like that. We're insanely lucky."

"But… Frost is still getting beaten up," Cabba said helplessly.

"Doesn't matter." Caulifla shrugged. "It's not us getting beat up."

Cabba had no response to that.

Then both of them turned to Gohan, who had landed in front of them.

"And who are you?" Caulifla asked, giving Gohan a long once-over.

"Who are you two? What are you doing on Earth?" Gohan asked warily.

"I asked first. You answer me first," Caulifla huffed. "Tell me, is that girl called Kale?"

"Huh? You know her?" Gohan was stunned.

"So it really is Kale!" Caulifla said, her eyes turning red with emotion.

I finally found you, my dear little sister!

"Are you the ones who brought Frieza back to life?" Gohan asked.

"Frieza? Who's that?" Caulifla asked blankly.

"The guy getting beaten up over there," Gohan said, pointing at Frost, who was still being ground into the dirt.

"Cabba, does Frost have some other name?" Caulifla asked, turning to him.

"Not that I know of…" Cabba shook his head. "Although now that you mention it, the last time Frost got beaten up… someone mistook him for Frieza then too."

Caulifla fell silent.

"That's pretty important information. Why are you only saying it now?" she snapped.

"It's been seven years. The fact that I remembered it at all is impressive," Cabba said, scratching his head.

"Well… that's true enough," Caulifla admitted with a nod.

"So… that guy isn't Frieza?" Gohan was now beginning to realize something was wrong.

He did look a lot like Frieza, but there were obvious differences in the details.

And come to think of it, Frieza wasn't that color.

"Kale, that's enough," Gohan called out.

"Is it already time to kill him? Fine, then I'll stop playing," Kale said seriously. She grabbed Frost by the head and hurled him into the air.

Boom!

A massive burst of energy engulfed him instantly and blew him to dust.

Poor Frost. He had not even been on Earth for five minutes before Kale slammed his face into the ground for ten straight seconds and then one-shotted him.

Gohan fell silent.

So did Caulifla.

And Cabba.

The three of them were left staring at one another in speechless disbelief.

"Frost… he… he's dead…" Cabba said, eyes wide, his expression incredibly complicated.

This is ridiculous.

His death was way too random.

So that's the girl Caulifla has been searching for all this time?

And she just erased Frost that easily?

"Then I guess the next two are you," Kale said coldly, turning and charging toward Cabba.

Cabba's face changed dramatically.

"Stop! Kale!" Gohan shouted.

Kale slammed to a halt on the spot, turned her head to look at him, and asked, "Gohan-nii… do you want to handle those two yourself?"

"It was a misunderstanding. That guy wasn't Frieza," Gohan said quickly, not knowing whether to laugh or cry.

"He wasn't Frieza? Really?" Kale scratched her head. "No wonder beating him up didn't feel as satisfying as beating Frieza."

Caulifla fell silent.

Cabba fell silent too.

You didn't find it satisfying, and you still killed him?

"Who are they, Gohan-nii?" Kale asked, looking at Cabba and then at Caulifla. Suddenly she noticed that Caulifla was pretty too.

Are you here to flirt with my Gohan too?

I absolutely refuse to let that happen.

I already have two love rivals at school.

Do I have to deal with one in the wild too?

"Kale, I'm Caulifla. Do you remember me?" Caulifla said, introducing herself as she reached out a hand to her warmly.

"I don't care who you are. You're not allowed to make a move on my Gohan-nii," Kale huffed angrily.

Caulifla blinked, then glanced at Gohan standing beside Kale.

"You're not allowed to look at Gohan-nii either!" Kale snapped.

"Kale, I'm your sister Caulifla. Don't you remember?" Caulifla introduced herself again. "When you were five, you suddenly disappeared…"

"Huh?" Kale's eyes lit up. A gentle, lovely big sister appeared in her memory, and she suddenly came back to herself. "Caulifla-nee?"

"You finally remember!" Caulifla let out a small sigh of relief.

"Caulifla-nee? Is that really you?" Kale asked, eyes lighting up.

"You finally remembered!" Caulifla said, relaxing a little. "Kale, you've really grown up. I recognized you right away. You're still just like when you were little—same shy face, same stubborn look. Hahaha."

Kale instantly felt a stab to the heart.

Caulifla-nee, that was too much.

"You're not allowed to say that!" Kale shouted.

Especially not in front of Gohan-nii. If you say things like that in front of him, it totally ruins my image.

Girls liked being pretty.

Especially girls Kale's age.

And Kale had matured early.

Maybe at first, her feelings for Gohan had grown out of dependence.

But now, what she felt for him was real love.

For Caulifla to say, right in front of Gohan, that Kale was not especially pretty—and for Kale not to immediately slam her face into the ground—was already Kale showing remarkable restraint.

Caulifla blinked.

This girl's got quite a temper now.

After all these years, she wasn't that timid little child anymore.

"All right, all right, I won't say it," Caulifla said with a grin, changing her tone immediately. "Our Kale has only gotten prettier and prettier."

Only then did Kale finally show a small smile.

A brief silence passed.

"Caulifla-nee, why did you come to Earth?" Kale asked.

"Obviously to take you home," Caulifla answered honestly.

"Home? Go back where?" Kale asked, confused.

"Back with me, of course," Caulifla said.

"This is my home," Kale replied at once. She had long since started thinking of Gohan's home as her own.

He's kissed me already!

Sooner or later, I'm going to be Gohan-nii's woman.

Caulifla had no answer to that.

She then shot Gohan a sideways glance.

So this is the guy who stole our Kale away?

He is pretty handsome, I'll give him that.

"Hey, what's your name?" Caulifla asked Gohan.

Gohan pointed at himself, paused briefly, and answered, "Son Gohan."

"Son Gohan? That's a pretty unusual name. What's your relationship with that guy called Son Goku?" Caulifla asked, anger flickering in her eyes.

"Uh… Son Goku is my dad," Gohan answered honestly.

"So you're Son Goku's son! Perfect!" Caulifla's eyes lit up. "Then tell me, where is he?"

Cabba clenched his fists too, glaring furiously at Gohan.

"My dad went off to train. I don't know where he is," Gohan said, shaking his head.

"If you're Son Goku's son, then your strength should be decent too, right?" Caulifla suddenly grinned.

"My strength? You mean fighting strength?" Gohan asked.

"Of course. What else would I mean, your grades?" Caulifla rolled her eyes.

"My grades are pretty decent," Gohan said with a nod. "In fact, Kale and I enrolled at Orange Star High School in Satan City specifically so we could learn more."

Caulifla fell silent.

"I'm not interested in your grades!" she shouted irritably, then beckoned at him. "Come on. Let me see what you can do in a fight!"

"My fighting strength? All right… though it's been a long time since I fought, especially against someone as strong as you," Gohan said, scratching his head. "Also, you're a girl, so I'm not going to fight you."

"What's wrong with being a girl? If girls train properly, they can surpass boys too!" Caulifla snapped, annoyed.

"I'll fight you, Caulifla-nee!" Kale said, stepping forward to block Gohan.

Caulifla instantly felt terrible.

So this is what it feels like to have your little sister completely take another man's side.

My dear little sister is already defending this boy.

"Fine. Kale, then let me see how much you've improved over the years," Caulifla said after thinking it over. As she spoke, she turned to look at Cabba and lightly kicked him.

Cabba looked at her suspiciously.

Why are you kicking me?

"You go challenge that Son Gohan guy," Caulifla instructed.

"Uh… his father's the one who beat us. Should we really take it out on his son?" Cabba asked, sounding uncomfortable.

"Hmph. We're sparring with him, not taking revenge on him. Get that straight," Caulifla said.

Cabba suddenly felt she made a lot of sense and nodded at once.

Then he started walking toward Gohan.

Kale stretched out a hand to stop him and said to Caulifla, "Caulifla-nee, you and this guy can come at me together. I'll take both of you on by myself!"
