Lima's POV
After the heartwarming hugs and conversations, Becca and I rushed back to our room.
The moment we stepped inside, she spun around and stared at me with wide eyes before letting out an excited scream.
"I'm sure you're just as happy as I am!" she squealed.
I couldn't help laughing.
"So..." she wiggled her eyebrows. "Ready to see John Maya again?"
I rolled my eyes.
"And you're ready to flirt with every guy at Winter Camp."
She gasped dramatically and placed a hand on her chest.
Then she walked closer, wearing the serious expression she always had whenever she wanted to sound wise.
Unfortunately, whatever came out of her mouth was usually nonsense.
"You only live once, Lima," she said proudly. "Go make memories."
I burst into laughter.
"You're impossible."
"Loosen up!" she huffed before dramatically throwing open her wardrobe.
She had already started packing.
Shaking my head, I walked over to my side of the room and pulled out my suitcase.
As I folded my clothes one by one, I smiled to myself.
Maybe Becca was right.
Maybe it was finally time to stop living in the past...
And start making new memories.
Logan's POV
I knew Mom was only doing this to make us happy.
After everything she'd been through, she still found the strength to smile for us.
I admired her more than she'd ever know.
Since Dad passed away, she'd been managing his company all by herself.
It couldn't have been easy.
After Winter Camp, I'd officially begin working at the company as its new CEO.
The thought was exciting...
But terrifying at the same time.
Lycan was in his final year of college.
Lima and Becca would be starting college in six months.
We were all growing up.
I smiled.
I loved my family more than anything.
Winter Camp also meant something else.
I'd get to see Ava again.
Five years had passed, but I still remembered the way she smiled.
She had been my first crush.
I cared deeply about my girlfriend, yet a small part of me still wondered what would happen if I saw Ava again.
Maybe those feelings had disappeared.
Maybe they hadn't.
Only time would tell.
I walked into the sitting room.
Lycan was still watching football, but I could tell his mind wasn't on the match.
He always acted like nothing bothered him.
In reality, he probably carried the heaviest heart out of all of us.
"Come on," I said. "Let's go pack."
He simply nodded and switched off the television before following me upstairs.
As we climbed the stairs, I heard Becca and Lima laughing from their room.
Those two were definitely planning something.
I shook my head and smiled.
Winter Camp was finally here.
I couldn't wait to see what it had in store for all of us.
