The expansive, reinforced training courtyards of the Crimson Zenith City estate had become a daily theater of apocalyptic destruction and miraculous restoration. For the past six months, the air within the heavy, spirit-glass domes was perpetually thick with the chaotic clash of supreme, world-altering attributes.
Zhu Zhuqing dropped into a low, predatory crouch, her sleek, dark leather combat suit straining against the massive, heavy curves of her breasts and the wide flare of her hips. Her dark eyes, ringed with a faint, demonic crimson hue, locked onto her husband standing fifty meters away. The black word "King" pulsed ominously upon her smooth, pale forehead.
"You are leaving your right flank entirely exposed, Husband," Zhu Zhuqing purred, her voice a sultry, echoing whisper that seemed to originate from the very shadows of the courtyard.
"Am I?" Zhang Tian smiled, his hands resting casually behind his back. He wore simple, loose-fitting martial arts robes, projecting an aura of absolute, unshakeable tranquility. "Or am I simply inviting the kitten to pounce?"
Zhu Zhuqing's lips curled into a dangerously seductive smile. Her majestic, God-Ranked Martial Spirit, the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger, materialized behind her in a storm of suffocating, pure black energy. Her six spirit rings—two yellow, one purple, and three black—pulsed with a terrifying rhythm.
But her true terror lay upon her back. With a sickening, metallic screech, the eight massive, crystalline appendages of her External Spirit Bone, the Eight Spider Lances, erupted from her spine.
They had advanced incredibly, evolving far beyond the level of an Eighty Thousand Year Old spirit bone.
Through Zhang Tian's constant, vital nourishment and her own absorption of the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger's core, the lances had absorbed all the terrifying attributes of her new spirit.
The dark, jagged legs crackled with volatile, corruptive black lightning, dripped with absolute freezing ice, radiated blistering, dark flames, and hummed with the devouring power of the abyss.
"Third Spirit Ring Ability: Eclipse Ray Strike!" Zhu Zhuqing commanded, her voice ringing out.
She didn't fire the beam from her hands. Instead, the eight massive spider lances arched over her shoulders, the tips condensing a horrifying Flame and Ice Elements. Eight distinct, concentrated beams of elemental destruction erupted simultaneously, converging into a singular, massive pillar of roaring, double-attributed energy that tore across the courtyard, aiming directly for Zhang Tian's chest.
Zhang Tian didn't evade. His icy blue eyes glinted with deep, academic fascination. He raised his right hand casually.
"Blood Silver God," Zhang Tian murmured softly.
He didn't unleash a massive spirit ring ability. He simply called upon the fundamental, god-tier origin of his evolved martial spirit. A vibrant, emerald-green light flared from his palm, fueled by the endless, rotating Life Spirit Core within his lower dantian.
Instantly, the reinforced stone floor in front of him shattered. However, it was not the familiar, crimson stalks of the Blood Silver Grass that erupted to form his shield. Instead, a massive, towering wall of ancient, diamond-hard Ironwood trees sprouted in a fraction of a second, their thick trunks weaving together flawlessly. Between the heavy wooden trunks, dense, fire-resistant Blue Crystal Vines—a species his Blood Silver Grass had recently absorbed the origin of—wove a secondary, absolute net of defense.
Because his Blood Silver God spirit stood at the very pinnacle of the plant kingdom, it remembered the origin of every single plant he had ever consumed or devoured. He could effortlessly, flawlessly adapt to any elemental assault.
BOOM!
Zhu Zhuqing's Eclipse Ray Strike slammed into the botanical fortress. The dark flames scorched the wood, and the absolute ice attempted to freeze the vines, but Zhang Tian simply pushed a microscopic pulse of pure Life Energy into the construct. The plants regenerated instantly, healing their burned and frozen tissues faster than the destructive beam could tear them apart.
"Your convergence of the Ice and Flame attributes is growing significantly more stable, Zhuqing," Zhang Tian praised her loudly over the roaring elements, his eyes seeing through the physical destruction to perceive the intricate, flowing laws of the universe. "However, you are allowing the Evil attribute to bleed into the kinetic force. The Evil attribute is not a physical hammer; it is a spiritual poison. Compress it. Hide it within the shadow of the blast."
Zhu Zhuqing immediately cut the energy feed. The massive beam vanished. She didn't look frustrated by her absolute inability to breach his defenses; rather, her eyes sparkled with the thrill of enlightenment. She was actively, rapidly comprehending the profound laws of her elements through his direct guidance.
"Like this?" Zhu Zhuqing asked, her body blurring as she engaged her Phantom Realm Assault.
She materialized directly behind him in a shower of black sparks. Her external spirit bone lances thrust forward, aiming to pin his limbs.
But this time, she didn't use raw elemental power. She focused entirely on the elusive, terrifying Evil attribute. A cold, insidious sensation crept through the air, attempting to bypass his physical defenses and directly infect his emotional state, seeking to ignite feelings of despair, irrational rage, and paralyzing terror within his spiritual sea.
Zhang Tian felt the subtle, creeping invasion. The Evil attribute was a fascinating, highly complex energy. It was somewhat fundamentally different from the standard, natural elemental attributes like fire or water. It seemed to possess an inherent, sentient ability to actively influence mortal emotions and was deeply, intimately related to the mental attribute to some extent.
He allowed the dark energy to brush against his consciousness for a brief second to study its frequency, gaining tremendous, passive insights into its mechanics. Then, his Quasi-God mental power flared, easily crushing the emotional invasion into dust.
"Much better," Zhang Tian smiled, turning around and easily catching two of her incoming, razor-sharp spider lances with his bare hands. The dark lightning and corrosive flames washed over his skin, entirely neutralized by the emerald Life Energy humming just beneath his pores. "You are masking the strike perfectly."
Zhu Zhuqing sighed, a beautiful, breathless sound. She retracted her lances, stepping close to wrap her arms around his neck.
"I can never win against you, Husband," Zhu Zhuqing murmured, pressing her heavy, sweaty breasts against his chest. "Your Life Energy is simply too absolute. It adapts to everything I throw at you."
"That is because Life is the most original, fundamental energy in the cosmos," Zhang Tian explained softly, his hands resting on her curvy hips. He enjoyed these moments of shared enlightenment just as much as the physical sparring. "It is the root of almost all other energies. The elements of any attribute, even your darkest flames and your absolute ice, inherently possess life characteristics. Otherwise, they simply could not exist, move, or interact within the universe. Therefore, the energy of any attribute will never truly reject the pure energy of life. Because Life is the source and the foundation of everything, by controlling the power of Life, I can better control, understand, and neutralize everything else."
Zhu Zhuqing looked up at him, her dark eyes filled with absolute, worshipful awe. "Your understanding of the attributes is terrifying, hubby."
"And your progress is equally terrifying, my kitten," Zhang Tian countered, kissing her forehead.
Over the past six months, their mutual cultivation had advanced beautifully. Through the relentless sparring and the rapid, liquid-mercury compression of his Life Spirit Core, Zhang Tian's spirit power had officially reached Level 76. Zhu Zhuqing had matched his pace, ascending by two levels herself.
However, there was one specific, god-tier technique Zhu Zhuqing possessed that Zhang Tian genuinely, currently could not neutralize or deal with using his raw power.
"Show me the that Life and Death Arena again," Zhang Tian requested, stepping back and gesturing with his hand. "I want to study the space-time shift."
Zhu Zhuqing nodded, her expression turning incredibly serious. The dark, segmented scorpion tail extending from the base of her spine—the true Evil God Hook—began to glow with a horrifying, mesmerizing mixture of silver, black, and chaotic grey light.
She swung the hook forward.
There was no massive explosion. There was only a silent, sudden distortion of reality. The Life and Death Arena was not a standard domain that simply suppressed stats; it was an absolute, fundamental law that ripped both combatants out of the current universe.
Zhang Tian felt the world twist and fold inward. The bright training courtyard vanished, instantly replaced by a massive, floating arena composed of ancient, dark stone suspended within a swirling, chaotic vortex of pure spatial and temporal storms.
And more jarringly, he looked down at his own hands. They were tiny, soft, and entirely devoid of callouses.
He had been forcibly, flawlessly transformed into the six-year-old version of himself. His massive, Level 76 spirit power, his formidable physical durability, and his devastating spirit rings were all entirely sealed and stripped away by the absolute laws of the arena. He was a mundane, powerless child without even his spirit.
Across the dark stone arena, a six-year-old Zhu Zhuqing stood looking at him. Even as a child, her dark eyes possessed a lethal, predatory sharpness.
Before Zhang Tian could even take a step with his short, unsteady legs, the child version of Zhu Zhuqing crossed the distance in a blur. She easily swept his legs out from under him, pinning him to the stone floor with a dark, spectral dagger held to his throat.
"I win, Hubby," the six-year-old Zhu Zhuqing giggled, the sound surprisingly cute despite the lethal context.
"Fascinating," Zhang Tian murmured in his high, childish voice, entirely ignoring the blade at his neck. He wasn't frustrated by the defeat; he was deeply, obsessively analyzing the residual energies clinging to his small body. "The Space and Time Attributes are fused perfectly. It forces a genetic and temporal regression based on the target's timeline. It makes me wonder... if the Space and Time Attributes could together be used to create an entirely different, sustained world like this one. A pocket dimension that isn't just a temporary battleground, but a permanent, thriving reality."
He couldn't win against this attack in a straightforward clash, so each time they practiced it, Zhu Zhuqing had to consciously, manually dispel the arena herself to prevent the lethal rules from actually engaging.
With a thought from her, the dark arena shattered like glass.
They were instantly back in the sunlit courtyard of the mansion, their bodies returned to their glorious, mature, adult forms. Zhang Tian let out a long breath, feeling his massive spirit power rush back into his meridians.
He couldn't deal with this specific technique yet at all, and it was deliberately excluded from their actual, competitive spars.
But he would frequently ask her to unleash it later, again and again, allowing himself to be transformed into a child just to gain some microscopic insight into the unfathomable Space-Time Attributes.
Well, not that he or even Zhu Zhuqing could actively, consciously accomplish the creation of a stable pocket dimension yet.
It was naturally an inherent, deeply ingrained ability inherited directly from the Evil God's bloodline by controlling the Time and Space attribute simultaneously, rather than a learned skill.
As Zhang Tian pondered the temporal mechanics, Zhu Zhuqing stepped into his personal space.
The evolution into the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger had profoundly changed her.
In terms of sheer elemental mastery, Zhu Zhuqing's rapid advancement in the Evil Attribute could easily be considered on par with her mastery over her primary Darkness Attribute. Following closely behind were her Ice and Flame Attributes, which she had perfectly inherited from her previously mutated Hell Civet spirit.
However, her heavy reliance and rapid insights into the Evil Attribute seemed to have also produced a rather delightful, highly erotic side effect. It had actively made her a bit more perverted, far bolder, and incredibly shameless.
"Husband," Zhu Zhuqing whispered, her hands sliding smoothly down his chest to rest boldly over his groin. She squeezed him gently, her dark eyes flashing with a restless, hungry heat. "We have been sparring for hours. I am hot, and I am feeling restless."
"Are you suggesting we take a break, kitten?" Zhang Tian chuckled, his hands moving to cup her massive, firm breasts through the leather suit.
"I am suggesting," Zhu Zhuqing purred, grinding her curvy hips against his thigh, "that we don't go back to the bedroom today. The gardens are so beautifully quiet right now. The sun is shining."
She leaned up, nibbling on his earlobe. "I want you to take me right here, Husband. Bend me over that stone bench. And... maybe you could call Ah Yin out here? Or Sister Zhuyun? Or even the Supreme Pontiff? I want to feel you fucking me while they watch, and then I want to share you with them on the grass. I want us all tangled together under the sky."
Zhang Tian let out a dark, highly aroused groan, his hands tightening on her curves. Her audacious, incredibly perverted requests sent a massive thrill of excitement straight to his core. The former icy, distant heiress of Zhu Family of the Star Luo Empire was now shamelessly begging for outdoor, exhibitionist group sex.
"You are becoming a truly insatiable, wonderful little slut, Zhuqing," Zhang Tian praised her, kissing her fiercely. "I will grant your request. Wait for me in the eastern gardens. And send word to the others."
Zhu Zhuqing smiled brilliantly, a flush of pure lust coloring her cheeks. "Don't make me wait too long, Hubby," she promised, turning and swaying her wide hips as she walked away to arrange the debauched gathering.
Left alone in the courtyard, Zhang Tian's expression shifted back into intense, academic focus. He walked over to a cluster of vibrant, highly resilient spirit-flowers blooming near the edge of the dome.
He knelt down. For the past six months, he had been endlessly trying to find the absolute limits of his Life Spirit Energy. He reached out, his hand hovering over the delicate petals.
"If Life is the foundation of all things," Zhang Tian reasoned aloud, his icy blue eyes narrowing. "Then the absolute, complete withdrawal of Life is not merely emptiness. It is another enenergy…A distinct, tangible attribute of its own."
Instead of pushing his emerald Life Energy outward to heal or nourish, he actively, violently reversed the rotation of his Life Spirit Core. He created a terrifying, localized spiritual vacuum within his palm.
Instantly, the vibrant, glowing spirit-flowers began to wither. It was not a natural, slow decay. The color was violently sucked from the petals, turning them a sickly, ash-grey. The stems turned brittle, and within three seconds, the entire cluster of plants disintegrated into a pile of fine, lifeless dust that blew away in the courtyard breeze.
Zhang Tian stared at his palm. He could feel a cold, heavy, and incredibly dense energy resting there for a fleeting second before dissipating.
He had successfully found that his skill in controlling the Life Attribute had miraculously grown to an extent that not only could he actively use it to bestow life, but he could also aggressively deprive it, and thus consciously create and utilize the pure Death Attribute.
Well, after this profound, terrifying discovery, there was not much further progress to be made on that front today. He needed time to conceptualize how to weaponize the Death Attribute effectively.
During this six-month period, he had also been intensely, tirelessly trying to help Ah Yin's spirit evolve from the Blood Silver Empress to that of the ultimate Blood Silver Goddess, hoping to grant her a similar, god-tier origin as his own by heavily using his pure Life Energy to bathe her meridians. But unfortunately, every attempt fell just slightly short. The energy would saturate her, but the fundamental, structural evolution refused to trigger.
As for the alternative method—asking the Ancient Golden Tree to help her physically condense a Life Spirit Core just like his own—Zhang Tian had deeply considered it. But the biological mechanics presented a massive, insurmountable hurdle.
For the Ancient Golden Tree to safely condense a core within her without shattering her soul, Ah Yin absolutely needed to cultivate to the absolute peak of a Level 98 Super Douluo first. The physical and spiritual container had to be flawless. After all, as a transformed Spirit Beast, she had already organically created one Mental Attribute Spirit Core residing in her Upper Dantian before successfully breaking through to the Titled Douluo realm. She couldn't safely use or overwrite that one.
As Spirit Beasts only naturally have two biological slots for Spirit Cores, she only had her Lower Dantian left, and it required a Level 98 foundation to withstand the planetary infusion.
Anyway, it wasn't a terrible, tragic thing; it would just take a bit more time. After having miraculously, rapidly become a Level 96 Super Douluo—which can be considered extremely, historically fast progress for her—her cultivation had naturally, inevitably slowed down. She would likely need a few more years of steady, peaceful accumulation to safely advance to the absolute peak of the Level 98 Super Douluo realm.
Just as these highly productive, peaceful six months had passed... a massive, public event was taking place within the bustling, modernized streets of Crimson Zenith City.
The central plaza of the city was a marvel of architectural integration, blending sleek spirit-glass structures with massive, ancient trees. Today, the plaza was packed with thousands of hopeful, excited citizens.
Zhang Tian, along with Ning Rongrong, Jin Xi, Qian Renxue, and a dozen high-ranking technicians, was currently going over and personally helping to awaken the spirits of the city's youth. But more importantly, they were actively, publicly using his massive, newly refined Spirit Tools to help effortlessly condense the Spirit Rings for the children, and even for a massive crowd of nervous adults.
These adults were ordinary, mundane Spirit Masters with notoriously poor, stagnant talent. Those standing in the lines who were above Level 20 were mostly hardened, weary adults above thirty or even forty years old. Their natural speed of cultivation was very, very slow, and they had been tragically stuck at their absolute bottlenecks—like Level 20, Level 30, or Level 40—for quite some time, some for nearly two years or more.
Usually, they were stuck because they desperately needed to try and work grueling, manual jobs to painstakingly accumulate enough gold coins to hire a competent, reliable group of mercenary Spirit Masters to escort them into the dangerous Spirit Hunting Forests to hunt for Spirit Beasts of an appropriate age suiting their specific spirits.
It was a deadly, expensive gamble.
But thankfully, due to the massive, booming industry of Spirit Tool Manufacturing established by Zhang Tian, the economy had exploded.
Even some odd jobs that normal, arrogant Spirit Masters typically refused to do—like operating heavy transportation vehicles, managing complex logistics, manning the new communication towers, and administrative oversight—were heavily subsidized. There were lots of well-paying jobs, and the pay wasn't low in the slightest.
The common people could be considered to be living not just a bad life, but an incredibly prosperous, secure life in Zhang Tian's city.
They were naturally, profoundly thankful that Zhang Tian had truly, entirely changed their destinies. He was very willing to employ and uplift the common people, which was a political philosophy much, much different compared to the oppressive, aristocratic structures of the other parts of the Heaven Dou Empire or even that brutally militaristic Star Luo Empire.
"Step forward, Uncle Li," Ning Rongrong said with a bright, encouraging smile, managing one of the massive Spirit Ring Condensation devices.
A burly, heavily scarred man of about forty stepped onto the platform. He summoned his martial spirit, a heavy iron shield. He had been stuck at Level 30 for three years.
Zhang Tian stood nearby, casually funneling a steady, harmless stream of ambient Life Energy into the machine's reservoirs. Ning Rongrong activated the arrays.
HUMMM!
Within seconds, a brilliant, glowing purple light materialized above the man's head. A perfect, thousand-year-old Spirit Ring slowly descended, settling firmly around his waist.
"A thousand-year ring..." Uncle Li fell to his knees, openly weeping as he stared at the purple halo. He pressed his face against the stone tiles. "Thank you! Thank you, Lord Marquis! Thank you, Lady Ning! I can finally join the city guard!"
"Use your new strength to protect those weaker than you, Li," Zhang Tian advised smoothly, his voice carrying clearly across the plaza, earning a roar of devoted, fanatical cheers from the assembled crowd.
Qian Renxue stood beside Zhang Tian, her golden-white dress practically glowing in the sunlight. She leaned in, whispering proudly. "You are building a paradise for them, Zhang Tian. The faith they have in you is as pure as the people have in the Spirit Hall and Angel God."
"I am simply giving them the tools to forge their own destinies, Renxue," Zhang Tian replied, offering her a warm smile.
However, his peaceful, philanthropic mood was suddenly, violently interrupted.
Zhang Tian's profound, absolute connection with the vast network of plants in the Extreme North flared. He had explicitly ordered the oldest, most resilient flora surviving near the treacherous borders to actively report to him in the specific case there are any massive, unusual changes or situations regarding the hidden, subterranean Slaughter City.
Those ancient plants reported back today. The message was passed rapidly, traversing hundreds of miles in a matter of seconds by passing this frantic information through the deep, interconnected roots from one plant to another, utilizing their collective, rudimentary mental force.
When the urgent, chilling message finally reached Zhang Tian's spiritual sea, his icy blue eyes narrowed into dangerous slits.
The plants reported that they had clearly, undeniably witnessed the ambient blood energy and even the suffocating death energy in the air surrounding the entrance to the Slaughter City rise drastically, violently spiking to apocalyptic levels.
Zhang Tian frowned deeply, completely ignoring the cheering crowds around him. He wondered exactly what this sudden, massive surge in death energy meant. But with his unparalleled knowledge of the world's hidden mechanics, he soon felt absolutely certain that it must be directly related to the opening of the legendary Hell Road.
'The Hell Road requires a massive sacrifice of blood to open,' Zhang Tian analyzed internally, his mind racing. 'This means that Tang San has successfully completed his hundred victories in the arena. He is entering the abyss. This means that Tang San would soon, inevitably inherit the Death God Domain in about a month or two, and in a very real sense, secretly, flawlessly complete the Asura God's Second Trial of his God Position.'
He calculated the timelines rapidly. 'This meant that Tang San would sooner or later return to the surface. Perhaps half a year later... And there was a massive, highly dangerous chance that Tang San might not come alone.'
Zhang Tian knew the board had changed. After all, the Sea God Island itself had intervened. 'There is a very high chance that Tang Chen, restored to his peak Limit Douluo glory, might also return alongside his good, highly talented great-grandson.'
He felt that the inevitable, continent-spanning war between their factions would soon come crashing down upon them. But Zhang Tian was absolutely not worried all that much. He possessed the Life Core, a God-Ranked spirit, and an army of technologically advanced Spirit Masters.
"Renxue, take over the energy channeling for the arrays using those Spirit Tools which stored my Life Spirit Energy," Zhang Tian requested smoothly, pulling his hand away from the machine. "I need to convene an urgent meeting with your mother."
Qian Renxue nodded, sensing the sudden, serious shift in his demeanor, and quickly stepped up to manage the device.
Zhang Tian left the plaza, moving with swift, purposeful strides back to the mansion. He found Bibi Dong in her private study, reviewing intelligence reports from the Spirit Empire.
"Dong'er," Zhang Tian spoke, closing the heavy doors and sealing the room with a wave of his hand. "Something happened at the Slaughter City."
Bibi Dong stood up, her pink eyes immediately reflecting his serious tone. "Tang San?"
"He is opening the Hell Road," Zhang Tian confirmed, walking over to her. "He will emerge with Death God Domain. But more importantly... Tang Chen will likely emerge with him. I need you to return to the Spirit Hall immediately."
Bibi Dong frowned, stepping close to him. "You want me to leave you?"
"I need you to inform Qian Daoliu about this critical, highly classified information," Zhang Tian instructed, resting his hands on her voluptuous hips. "Tell him that his good, ancient friend, Tang Chen, might return very soon, fully restored, and would undoubtedly soon join his Clear Sky Sect in the Star Luo Empire. Tell him there might be a great, apocalyptic war coming against the Star Luo Empire, a war led by the Clear Sky Sect, commanded by a Limit Douluo, and supported by many other powerful sects under them, including the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan."
Zhang Tian looked deeply into her eyes, ensuring she understood his overarching strategy. "Even if the Spirit Hall is overwhelmingly supported by my own faction—with Crimson Zenith City providing powerful, mass-produced spirit tools for war—and heavily backed by the Seven Treasure Glaze Tile Sect, we must prepare our defenses. We must ensure that the ordinary people, the commoners, and the lower-ranked Spirit Masters in our territories aren't harmed too greatly by the crossfire. We must build fortified safe zones to ensure that this clash of titans won't bring a complete, bloody disaster to the entire continent."
Bibi Dong nodded, her heart swelling with admiration for his strategic foresight and his genuine, overarching care for the empire he was building. "I understand, Husband. I will leave soon."
"Good. However…before you leave," Zhang Tian murmured, his voice dropping to a dark, husky whisper as he pulled her flush against his body. "We have a long night ahead of us."
After spending a wildly passionate, incredibly aggressive night with Zhang Tian—where he pounded her mature, incredibly sexy body relentlessly until she was screaming his name into the pillows—she dressed in her majestic, disguised traveling cloaks and left for the Spirit City at first light.
It had been quite some time since she had physically been there, managing the empire mostly through proxies and long-distance communication arrays. She was also a bit genuinely curious to see the growth and cultivation progress of her dear, prized disciple, Hu Liena.
As her carriage rolled out of the city gates, Bibi Dong smiled a dark, incredibly submissive smile beneath her veil. 'Perhaps next time I return, I can bring my beautiful disciple along with me. I can let Zhang Tian have a taste of her. He did explicitly mention to me that he wanted to enjoy my charming disciple's virginity. It would be wonderful to present her to him.'
As for Zhang Tian, he did not rest. The impending war required diplomatic consolidation.
He walked through the winding corridors of the mansion, heading directly toward the private training pavilions to find Zhu Zhuqing and Zhu Zhuyun. The war naturally, intimately involved the two feline sisters as well. After all, their estranged, brutal family, the Zhu Family, was still deeply entrenched within the political and military hierarchy of the Star Luo Empire and would undoubtedly stand against him on the battlefield in the near future.
He found the two sisters resting in a sunlit lounge, drinking tea after their morning cultivation.
"Zhuqing, Zhuyun," Zhang Tian greeted them, sitting down on the plush sofa between them. He casually draped his arms over their shoulders, pulling them close.
"Husband," Zhu Zhuqing smiled, leaning her head against his chest. "What troubles your mind?"
"The war is coming sooner than we anticipated," Zhang Tian told them smoothly, not mincing his words. He detailed the intelligence regarding Tang San and the Star Luo alliance. "The Star Luo Empire will march north. And that means your father, and the entirety of the Zhu Family, will be on the front lines against us."
Zhu Zhuyun's expression hardened, her dark eyes flashing with a complex mixture of old fear and newfound, absolute loyalty to the man holding her. "They made their choice when they treated us like disposable breeding stock for the Imperial Family to maintain their influence and power of family, Husband. If they stand against you, they are our enemies."
"I appreciate your loyalty, Zhuyun," Zhang Tian smiled, kissing her temple. "But I wanted to ask both of you a question. Do you want to come along with me on a covert, highly dangerous diplomatic mission? I intend to infiltrate the Star Luo Empire personally."
Zhu Zhuqing sat up, looking at him in surprise. "You want to infiltrate the enemy capital?"
"I want to personally persuade the leadership of the Zhu Family to completely change their stance," Zhang Tian explained, his icy blue eyes gleaming with tactical brilliance. "I want to offer them a chance to defect so that they are not utterly destroyed or wiped out when my armies shatter their empire. Furthermore, securing their deep, ingrained support and their stealth capabilities wouldn't be bad for our territory if they formally join my faction."
He looked at the two sisters, his expression serious. "But I will only do this if you two wish to save them. If you want them to burn, I will let them burn."
Both Zhu Zhuqing and Zhu Zhuyun exchanged a long, incredibly meaningful look. They hated the cruel, ancient traditions of their family, but the prospect of tearing their house down from the inside, of forcing the arrogant elders to bow before Zhang Tian, was an incredibly appealing vengeance.
They turned back to him, nodding in perfect unison.
"We will go with you, Husband," Zhu Zhuqing declared, her feline eyes narrowing with lethal intent. "I want to show them the power of the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger. We will give them one chance to kneel. If they don't accept it…Hmph…Then they can't blame me for being ruthless."
