The Third Mizukage stood upon the sea surface. Blood seeped from his wounds, dripping into the water and staining it crimson. Ignoring it, the Mizukage focused intently on finding Hoshikawa .
Just then, the seawater was violently sliced open. A column of water, compressed to the absolute extreme, threatened to cleave him in two like a massive water blade.

In the next second, the water dragon descended from above, engulfing him.
Water spray and blood mingled, creating an image like a blooming rose.
Inside the outpost, the fighting between the two sides paused momentarily. Because the Third Mizukage had run for a distance, his scream of agony carried clearly to their ears.
"That's... Lord Mizukage's voice?" Ao's eyes widened, his expression one of disbelief. Could the Third Mizukage have lost to Hoshikawa ?

"Hold it right there!" Kurenai Yūhi exclaimed angrily.
She had clearly been at a disadvantage during her fight with Mei Terumī. Although she was strong enough for her age, she was ultimately not a top-tier genius. Mei Terumī clearly was. The combination of Water, Boil, and Lava Release made Kurenai difficult to handle.
Mei Terumī ignored Kurenai. She had actually had a chance to seriously injure her, but the thought of Hoshikawa made her unconsciously hold back.

Hoshikawa reappeared in front of Kurenai and the others. He scanned the area, spotted Rin Nohara, and let out a sigh of relief.
"Hoshikawa , are you hurt?" Kurenai quickly stepped forward, grasping his arm.
"I'm fine," Hoshikawa said, shaking his head and smiling.
"You... you killed the Third Mizukage?!" Hizashi Hyūga's mind was violently shaken. The remaining Hyūga ninja also showed expressions of shock.
