Watz: (paused then places his hand on his chin in a thoughtful mode) So far, the only detail well known about the kingdom is that they are very rich and expert in business. The king has lot of stores under his control.
Kasper: Ahh (sighs) I thought as much this journey wouldn't be as easy as I thought.
AHHH! The carriage suddenly stopped and a loud scream was heard from outside.
Luna: Master (yelled)
Kasper: (jolted out of the carriage from the window) A park of... Behemoth? (Shocked)
Athena: yellow rank (spoke out, displaying a blue screen that ranked the park of 12-15 behemoth)
The behemoth who seemed to be the leader of the park stomped his feet against the ground, snuffing out hot breaths from his nostrils. Lights which seemed like electricity sparks flicked around it.
Athena: With the system updated now, host can store beast carcasses and meat in storage. Beast carcasses can be traded at a adventurers guild.
Kasper: Really? (glanced back at the demon horseman that crouched up behind the carriage in fear) Ahhh! (breathe out) With my rank this should be easy but behemoths have long sharp tusk that can easily pierce through one.
Luna: Master stand back. I'll protect you and the rest.
Kasper: (stared speechless but then stepped forward with his sword dragging behind him) Step aside Luna. You can't deal with them alone. (Swung his sword skillfully then took an attack stance) Protect the carriage Luna and slay any beast I miss. (Dashed forward so quick that no one noticed him already off his initial spot)
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
3 behemoths suddenly dropped to the ground motionless and lifeless. "ROAR" The leader of the behemoths roared, giving command to its underlings. The behemoth huffed and puffed then charged at Kasper furiously.
Kasper: (slowly closed his eyes taking a deep breath before sharply opening his eyes and sprinted towards the group)
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! More behemoths dropped to the ground, someone struggling to get up again and the others lifeless. Luna stepped forward piercing the half-living beasts.
Luna: Master behind you (yelled upon seeing the leader of the park suddenly charging at Kasper unaware)
Kasper: (swing his sword quickly, clashing against the behemoth's tusks blocking off the attack) Eyah (pulled up a fast stunt creating a distance between them)
Behemoth: Hmph (puffed out some warm breaths with its eyes fixed on the carriage behind Kasper)
Kasper: Why is its eyes on the carriage?
Athena: It detects a human in it. Humans are prey to demon. Your human scent has been concealed the moment the demon queen accepted your help.
Kasper: Oh that make senses. Will I be rewarded with amazing gifts if I kill it?
Athena: This isn't a mission. So host shouldn't be expecting something big. System will definitely reward host will some experience point.
Kasper: Tsk. I was expecting something more. Then let's end this real quick. I wonder how much I'd get from trading its carcass in an adventurers guild. (Suddenly charged at the beast focusing his strength on his feet)
Countless arcs of slashing and lights appeared before something huge fell to the ground, creating a field of dust. Luna coughed a bit then turned quickly to where the battle had taken place, staring at something that slowly walked out of the dust.
Luna: Master? (Surprised) Are you alright?
Kasper: Erhm! Excuse me sir? The behemoths has been handled already but how are we going to move them to the border? (Turned towards the direction the horseman had taken safety behind the carriage)
Horseman: Y...yes?
Kasper: (sighs) Slipping these into the system storage with them knowing would be the worse idea I can ever come up with. (Rolled his eyes as he thought) Ahh! I can't just give them up... Oh my... My money (but his clothes angrily)
Luna: (stared at the carcasses of the behemoths)
If she was able to kill one herself and sold every part to an adventurers guild, she would have been able to get about 50% payment for her mother's medicine at a siting without having to work endless jobs only to get robbed of countless times.
Now staring at the park of behemoths Kasper had mostly singly handled them himself laying there lifeless, with no means to transport them. What a huge waste that would be.
Kasper: I could probably slip 2 or 3 behemoths into my space without them noticing , right Athena? (Asked quietly)
Athena: Host can do what he wishes.
Kasper: (expressionless) I shouldn't have asked for your opinion.
