Sona Shitori's room was as pristine as ever—every surface spotless, every item in its place, a silent testament to its owner's relentless pursuit of order.
When Tenra entered, Sona wasn't packing. She stood by the window, gaze lost somewhere beyond the glass. It was an ordinary view, nothing special, but something about her quiet silhouette tugged at Tenra's heart.
He stepped behind her, slipping his arms around her waist. His voice was gentle, softer than usual.
"Sorry, Sona. I keep making you put up with my selfishness."
Sona didn't turn. "So you're capable of self-awareness? Then hurry up and leave."
Tenra chuckled. "I'll leave, but only if you're coming with me."
She didn't reply, but her silence was answer enough. Tenra's usual arrogance—so infuriating, so familiar—made her want to retort. But before she could, he leaned in and kissed her, silencing any protest.
A flush stole across Sona's cheeks. Instinctively, she tried to push him away, but his touch sent shivers down her spine. Her resistance melted, arms falling limp as unfamiliar sensations flooded her mind.
Always these underhanded tactics… Always this infuriating man!
Suddenly, the door burst open.
"Sona-sama, Tenra-sama, are you—"
Tsubaki Shinra and the rest of the peerage froze, eyes wide at the scene before them.
"S-sorry! We didn't mean to—!"
Faces burning, the girls slammed the door shut and retreated in a flurry of embarrassment.
No wonder Sona-sama and Tenra-sama hadn't come out. They'd just wanted to check in, but instead they'd stumbled onto something far more intimate.
"N-no wonder they're still in there…"
"I never thought Sona-sama would do that…"
"They're engaged, right? It's normal, isn't it? K-kiss…"
"Mm…"
Meguri Tomoe and Ruruko Nimura blushed, falling into awkward silence as their minds raced.
Inside the room—
"Ow, ow, ow!"
Tenra yelped as Sona sank her teeth into his shoulder.
"That was an accident! I swear!"
He winced, but Sona's glare was unforgiving. They'd shared plenty of close moments before—even more daring ones—but being caught by her peerage was mortifying. Sona wanted nothing more than to bite him again.
All his fault!
"Come on, Sona. Tsubaki and the others are family. It's fine if they saw…"
Sona responded with a cold, humorless laugh.
Fine for you, maybe.
After that, the mood was thoroughly ruined. Sona began packing, and Tenra helped, keeping his distance this time.
Soon, they emerged, pulling Sona's suitcase behind them. Sona's face was unreadable; Tsubaki and the others looked away, still flustered. No one mentioned what had happened.
"Let's go."
Sona took one last look at her old home, then joined Tenra and the others in the teleportation circle.
"Finally here…"
"Welcome, sister-in-law!"
"You really kept us waiting, Sona!"
Arriving at the Kamiyo household, Sona and her peerage were greeted by Rias, Ravel, and the rest of the girls.
"Sorry to impose, Rias, Ravel."
"Don't be so formal, Sona. You're one of the masters of this house now."
The whole household was genuinely delighted. Maru, Bülent, and Aisha had already prepared a lavish feast, and after helping Sona's group settle in, they ushered everyone to the table.
"This place is so lively…"
"Rias-sama, Akeno-senpai, Koneko-chan, Yubelluna-sensei… Other than Tenra-sama, it's all girls!"
Meguri and Momo stared around in awe.
"Uu… I'm actually eating with God-sama. I'm so nervous…"
Ruruko watched Ophis, who was perched on Tenra's lap, being fed by him. Her anxiety was palpable.
Tosca, sitting beside her, smiled reassuringly.
"Don't worry, Ruruko. Ophis-sama is our household mascot. She's quiet, easy to get along with, and you can even play games with her. Hugging is totally fine."
"Really? H-hugging is okay?"
Ruruko was incredulous. Was it really alright to treat a being like Ophis so casually? Shouldn't she be revered, worshipped, at least offered daily prayers?
But Ophis was undeniably adorable. Ruruko found herself wanting to hug her, rules or not.
"Of course," Tosca laughed. "But if you want a hug, you'd better bring offerings—Ophis loves snacks and sweets. It's an unspoken rule around here."
"Seriously…?"
Ruruko was stunned, but more than anything, she was tempted. She had some delicious snacks saved up—maybe she'd try her luck later.
The initial awkwardness faded quickly under the warmth of Tosca and the others. Ruruko and her friends soon felt at home.
After dinner, Rias led Sona and her peerage to choose their rooms and settle their luggage. By nightfall, Sona's group was officially part of the Kamiyo household.
That night, in Rias's room—
"T-Tenra, why are you here?"
Tenra grinned. "None of you came to my room, so I had to come to yours."
"Y-you're not going to Sona's room?"
"She just moved in. Let her get settled first."
"Alright, Rias. Let's switch positions."
Tenra scooped Rias into his arms, shifting her easily before resuming his passionate assault.
Much later, Akeno, Aisha, Xenovia, and Irina appeared outside Rias's door.
"Haa… Did Rias call you all too?"
"Mm, me too."
"What does she want this late?"
"No idea. Let's check."
"Rias, we're coming in."
They knocked, then entered together.
Rias, utterly exhausted and disheveled, saw her saviors at last.
"A-Akeno, Aisha… I can't take it anymore. Save me…"
"Ahhh!"
"…"
