"Hah… So much for getting the vampires to join our alliance. My brother specifically asked me to bring them in if I could."
Rias sighed, watching the vampire envoys vanish from sight.
Sona's voice was cool, almost clinical. "Vampires are too arrogant. Their self-importance is off the charts. If we forced them in, they'd probably just become a liability."
Rias nodded, her frustration simmering. The vampires had used the peace treaty as a bargaining chip to demand Gasper. That alone was enough to set her teeth on edge. She'd never accept it.
Tenra, you said Gasper has some hidden power inside him. What did you mean, exactly?"
Rias's question cut through the lingering tension. Everyone turned to Tenra.
"Besides his Forbidden Balor View, this idiot has something else sleeping inside him—a force that's powerful and dark."
Tenra ruffled Gasper's hair, his tone serious.
"If I'm right, Gasper is the reincarnation of the demon god Balor."
"B-Balor? That Balor? The evil god from Celtic myth?!"
Shock rippled through the room.
Balor—the bane of the Celtic gods, invincible in battle. Even the sun god Lugh had only defeated him by striking at his one weakness, and only by surprise.
Even so, Balor's strength was legendary. Compared to the gods of today, he'd still rank among the absolute elite.
Azazel nodded, thoughtful. "The evil eye matches. And that destructive magic… It's a real possibility."
Gasper shrank under everyone's gaze, eyes wide and nervous. "Wh-why are you all staring at me?"
The room fell silent, the weight of fate pressing down. So this was the reincarnation of a notorious demon god—a timid boy, blinking in confusion. It felt like destiny was playing a cosmic joke.
Rias, whatever this idiot was before, now he's just Gasper. I want you all to remember that."
Tenra's voice was gentle but firm.
Rias nodded. "I understand, Tenra."
Surprised as they were by Gasper's origins, it didn't change a thing. Whatever his past, the Gasper standing here was their family—their friend.
Tenra's gaze shifted. "I'm heading to vampire territory soon."
He looked at Gasper. "You're coming with me."
Gasper's reply was instant, his voice steady. "Yes! I want to go too, Tenra-sama!"
They'd made a promise—to save Valerie. Nothing would stop them now.
The others were taken aback by Tenra's decision, but after his explanation, they understood. Beyond Valerie's connection, bringing the Longinus—Sephiroth Graal—into the alliance was a strategic win.
Leaving such a weapon with the vampires, as Elmenhilde's intel suggested, was a threat to the world's balance.
When the meeting ended, Tenra and the girls returned home. Gasper headed to Azazel's for now—he'd rejoin them when it was time to leave for vampire territory.

Tenra yawned, stretching. "Sona, come to my room in a bit."
The hall went silent. The girls shot Sona teasing looks.
Sona's cheeks flushed, but her reply was instant. "No."
Go to his room now? She'd be eaten alive.
Tenra rolled his eyes. "What are you even thinking? I just need to talk."
He glanced at Akeno. "You too, Akeno. I'll be waiting."
He headed off, leaving a trail of exasperated sighs and quiet laughter behind.
A little later, Akeno and Sona stepped into Tenra's room.
Akeno perched herself on Tenra's lap, a sly smile on her lips. Sona, by contrast, looked icy.
"Just say whatever you need to."
Tenra grinned. "Sona, we're engaged. Sharing a room at night isn't exactly scandalous."
He pulled her gently into his arms, whispering in her ear, "Or are you scared?"
"I—I'm not…"
Sona turned away, flustered. Her voice betrayed her nerves.
Tenra chuckled, then grew serious. He raised a barrier around the room, his playful mood fading.
"Akeno, Sona—what I'm about to tell you is the deepest secret I know. You must never breathe a word of it to anyone."
Seeing Tenra this grave was rare. Both girls sat up straighter, bracing themselves.
"Grayfia, come out."
From Tenra's shadow, Grayfia emerged—silent, regal, and unmistakably formidable.
"G-Grayfia-sama!"
"Why is Lucifer's Queen here?!"
Their shock was palpable.
Grayfia's expression didn't flicker. "You're telling them?"
Tenra nodded. "I need their help."
He laid everything out—Grayfia's true allegiance, Sirzechs's fate, the God of the Bible's possession of the Maou's body.
"The… God of the Bible…"
"The real Sirzechs-sama… is dead?"
The truth left them speechless. The God of the Bible, thought long dead, had possessed a devil's body, infiltrated the ranks, and become a beloved Maou. It was beyond belief—almost monstrous.
If anyone but Tenra had told them, if Grayfia weren't standing right here, neither girl would have believed it.
Tenra gently stroked their hair. "I know it's hard to accept, but it's real. You can't tell anyone—especially Rias. You know how much this would hurt her."
Akeno and Sona nodded, silent. The thought of Rias learning the truth was unbearable.
Sona finally looked up, meeting Tenra's eyes. "Why are you telling us this?"
Even she, always composed, felt a chill in her bones.
Tenra sighed. "I'm heading to vampire territory for a while. I need you both to keep an eye on 'Sirzechs'—don't let Rias near him. You're the ones she trusts most. Only you can do this."
Understanding dawned.
"We'll handle it," they said in unison.
