Chapter 193 - Chapter 193 Three-man team

While Ren was thinking, Chomei stayed put, somewhat nervous, his six wings unconsciously flapping against the ground.

If he could stay inside Ren, it would at least be much better than with an unfamiliar human.

"Alright!"

Ren looked up, speaking to Chomei in a deep voice.

"Thank you."

Before Chomei could speak, Isobu, beneath him, was the first to express his gratitude to Ren.

"Tsk, don't be so polite, Isobu."

Ren stood up and jumped off Isobu's head, then landed and looked up, a slight smile on his face.

"A three-person team or something, it sounds super cool, alright!"

After Ren finished speaking, he leaped up, using Chomei's body for leverage twice before landing on top of his head, then sat down cross-legged.

"Don't you agree, Chomei?"

Chomei had no aversion to Ren's actions; he just nodded slightly and said softly,

"Mm."

"Good, then it's decided!"

Ren's eyes showed a hint of sleepiness, and then he let out a long yawn.

"Ah, I'm so tired from running all day. I'm going back to sleep first; we can help Chomei move tomorrow during the day."

Ren finished speaking and was about to return to his main body, but suddenly, as if remembering something, he lowered his head and instructed Chomei,

"Brother, why don't you sleep here tonight? My main body is still sleeping in your abdomen."

Chomei flapped his wings, saying softly,

"Oh."

Anyway, he usually slept like that; it didn't matter where he slept. It was just one night, and he could catch up and chat with Isobu.

"Alright, then good night, both of you brothers."

Ren closed his eyes, and when he opened them again, he found himself back in his main body, surrounded by Chomei's soft abdomen, with a bright moon hanging high above.

"So comfortable."

Ren shifted into a more comfortable position. It was already autumn, and the weather had turned a bit cold.

But the spot Ren chose was out of the wind and warm, simply too comfortable.

As for rain, there were no clouds in the sky, so where would rain come from?

"Sleep, sleep."

Ren muttered twice, then rolled over and fell asleep. The events of the day and the journey he had made were truly exhausting. He definitely needed sleep to eliminate fatigue and restore his energy.

The next day, when Ren woke up, he immediately covered his eyes. After a few seconds of adjustment, he dared to lower his hands and look up.

The bright moon had been replaced by the scorching sun, constantly emitting light and heat, warming up the jungle.

"Goodness, I slept really soundly. It must be almost noon…"

Ren stood up and leaped out of the crevice, standing on Chomei's body and looking around. Chomei's enormous body occupied half of the wide-open space.

Within Ren's sensory range, within a hundred-meter radius, let alone wild beasts, there were no small animals like snakes, insects, rats, or ants. It seemed they had been scared away by the Chakra fluctuations released by Chomei.

"You're awake."

A deep voice came from behind. Ren turned around, only to find Chomei's faceplate slowly lifting, looking towards him.

"Yo, good morning, Chomei."

Ren waved, smiling as he greeted, and at the same time, called out inside his body.

"Good morning, Isobu."

"Morning x2."

After greeting each other, Ren jumped to the ground and greeted Chomei behind him.

"Let me eat breakfast first, then we can begin, Chomei."

"Mm."

Chomei nodded at Ren, then sat still, beginning to gaze at the surrounding jungle scenery.

He had been sealed for decades, and even when he broke free from being sealed inside a Jinchuriki, he could only see the monotonous waterfall, and not for very long. Immediately after, a group of Ninja would drink that strange medicine and then, at the cost of their lives, suppress him again, and then seal him back.

How many years had it been since he had seen a forest like this?

A moment later, Ren returned, his hair and face wet, chewing on a black pill in his mouth.

"Damn it, I should have learned how to cook for outdoor survival from Teacher Kosuke."

Ren ate the slightly astringent Soldier Ration Pill, thinking with resentment.

Besides his great strength, Kosuke had also taught himself cooking recently. Even when on outdoor missions, he didn't have to chew on unpalatable Soldier Ration Pills; he could let his teammates eat steaming hot food, which was simply too convenient.

As for these damn Soldier Ration Pills, they were far from the improved versions that would come out more than ten years later. Now, they were all mass-produced bitter Soldier Ration Pills, which, apart from filling one's stomach, were like chewing on wax.

While digesting the Soldier Ration Pill, Ren took out a small scroll from his Ninja tool pouch, then leaned against Chomei and began to read.

"Ren, what are you doing?"

Chomei looked at the scroll in Ren's hand, asking with some curiosity.

"Ah, you mean this."

Ren paused, but then flipped the scroll over, allowing Chomei to see it while explaining,

"This is a Sealing Jutsu formula. Although I know it, I'm still a bit rusty. I'm just familiarizing myself with the process again so that the sealing will go smoothly later."

"Oh, oh."

Chomei nodded understandingly, then stopped disturbing Ren, instead turning his head to the side again to enjoy the scenery.

"Four Symbols Seal, huh…"

Ren rubbed his chin, a thoughtful expression in his eyes.

Actually, if he had to say, the most troublesome part of sealing a Tailed Beast was the Tailed Beast's interference.

This would not only affect the progress of the sealing but also bring great pain to the Jinchuriki. It was like that when Ren sealed Isobu into his body before.

However, this problem was not a problem for Ren. Chomei could probably be considered the first Tailed Beast in history willing to be sealed voluntarily, so there shouldn't be any problem with the sealing.

"Let's do it!"

Ren put away the small scroll, then suddenly stood up and looked at Chomei, saying loudly,

"Alright, let's begin! Chomei!"

Chomei nodded, casting a lingering glance at the jungle in front of him before turning to face Ren.

"Don't worry, if there's time in the future, I'll let you guys come out for some fresh air."

Ren saw through his thoughts and nodded with a smile.

"Mm!"

"Alright, then please don't resist next, otherwise, my Chakra might explode and I could die. Remember that!"

After Ren finished his instructions, he stepped back two paces, his hands beginning to form hand signs. The next moment, a Shadow Clone appeared in front of him. After forming hand signs again, Shadow Clone Number Two also appeared beside him.

"Shadow Clone Number One, thank you for helping me keep watch."

Shadow Clone Number One nodded, saying softly,

"Leave it to me. I won't let you be affected."

Shadow Clone Number One disappeared into the forest after speaking, spreading his sensory range, paying attention to every rustle of wind and grass around him.

"Hoo!"

Ren took a deep breath, then turned to look at Shadow Clone Number Two beside him, nodding in a gesture.

"Let's begin!"

Shadow Clone Number Two nodded, his hands beginning to form hand signs. After one breath, as Chakra began to fluctuate, Shadow Clone Number Two said in a deep voice,

"Four Symbols Seal!"
