She froze.
Slowly, she lifted her gaze back to Lucian. He was looking at her.
That gentle smile, soft, almost affectionate, rested on his lips. For a moment, everything else faded.
Her caution… her rationality… all of it slipped away.
"Why do you look so beautiful…" she murmured, almost unconsciously.
Her voice was soft, yet filled with something dangerously intense.
'Beautiful… to the point that I want to ruin you…'
Before she could stop herself, she leaned forward again and kissed him, this time deeper, more lingering.
It had been so long. Too long.
A faint irritation flickered within her. "Why can't I see you more often…?"
Lucian did not pull away.
Instead, he responded.
His presence shifted slightly as he moved closer, but Lana was faster. Her lips trailed away from his, moving slowly along his jaw, down to his neck.
Her breath brushed against his skin as she continued, her movements unhurried, almost as if savoring him.
