The black mass was disappearing.
However, Lucian's soul was also becoming weaker. His figure had already begun turning translucent.
Lana's expression tightened. "What is happening?"
Another familiar voice suddenly came from behind her.
"Lucian's soul isn't powerful enough to deal with a ten-thousand-year-old ghost on his own, especially when what is here is only a fragment of his soul. He is going to disappear soon."
Lana turned around.
Axel stood there. Lana's eyes widened. "Uncle?"
Axel's expression was serious.
"We can stop, at most, two waves of attacks. After that, it will be your responsibility to survive."
He suddenly leaned near her ears and started to whisper something.
