For several seconds, there was no response. Then the young man's soul slowly appeared again.
His expression was solemn. "Thank you for giving me justice."
He lowered his head. "But I don't want to press charges against my ex-girlfriend."
Lana looked at him curiously. "You're still protecting her? Why?"
The young man remained silent.
Lana sighed as she crossed her arms. "I'm not punishing her on your behalf."
Her voice became serious. "I'm doing this for your parents. They lost a young son whom they raised for so many years."
She looked directly at him. "If you feel even a little sorrow for them, you should visit them before your time on Earth completely runs out."
The young man's eyes slowly became moist. "I want to leave."
His voice was filled with confusion. "But for some reason, I haven't been able to move on."
Lana smiled faintly. "You can now."
The young man looked at her suspiciously. "Really?"
Lana nodded. "You can go now."
