"There must be some kind of two-thousand-year-old mastermind ghost behind you who is currently monitoring everything. As soon as Lana exorcises you, that ghost will appear and attack her with a perfectly justified excuse. He could claim that you are his son and that Lana had no right to exorcise you."
Axel's gaze became even colder.
"After Lana annihilates you, that ghost might even go as far as summoning all the other ghosts in this forest and making them gang up on her."
Lana blinked in surprise. 'Why does this sound like a scam?'
She slowly turned toward Lucian and lowered her voice.
"Why does a ghost even need a reason to start a fight?"
