Lucian's eyes narrowed. Before she could get very far, he reached out and grabbed the collar of her clothes, pulling her back.
He laughed softly.
"You had better give it to me. Otherwise, I will have no choice but to deal with you the same way I dealt with that ghost."
The moment he said those words, the little girl's expression changed. "I am human! Nothing will happen to me!"
However, the red spirit beside Lucian suddenly moved and latched onto the girl.
Lucian leaned closer and whispered coldly, "Do you really think I didn't notice that this basket does not belong to you?"
The girl's expression stiffened.
"You must have stolen something from him. Otherwise, why would a ghost in the middle of a forest be chasing an innocent little girl?"
The girl's face immediately changed. She gritted her teeth angrily. "You are truly too much!"
She suddenly turned around and attacked Lucian.
