Chapter 49 - Returning to The Base

Just when I was about to get up, Sayo suddenly moved before me. She picked up a sheet, wrapped it around herself, and marched toward the door.

Why does she seem angry?

She opened it and stared at Ieyasu without saying a word. Ieyasu glanced past her and spotted me, who was also covering myself with a sheet.

"Okun—sama!" he exclaimed, his eyes widening in shock as he tried to step inside, but Sayo shoved him back.

"Let me in, Sayo. Why are you acting weird? Since Okun–sama is here, he should at least know about Tatsumi's whereabouts," Ieyasu said, still trying to enter. Sayo pushed him back again.

"Baka! Can't you read the room? My darling and I are trying to have a baby!" Sayo exploded. Ieyasu froze, his mouth hanging wide open.

"S-Sorry—"

BAM!

Before he could finish, Sayo slammed the door shut with tremendous force, the impact vibrating the entire room.

She stormed back toward me, power-walking, climbed onto the bed, and lay on her side. She let out a long sigh and muttered something under her breath.

"Don't you think you were a bit too cold toward him?" I finally said after she calmed down.

"I—I didn't mean to do that. He just always comes at the wrong time. And I'm also mad that you had sex with another woman," Sayo said, sighing again as I chuckled.

"So you've finally revealed the real reason you're angry, huh? You just vented everything on poor Ieyasu," I said with a chuckle as I pulled her closer. I was honestly amazed at how effective the concoction the physician gave me was, I could already feel my cock hardening beneath the sheets again.

Petting Sayo, we had another round, and of course, I came inside her again.

When we were finally done, we both wore satisfied expressions and no longer had the urge to continue. We cleaned ourselves, and once we were finished, I called for Ieyasu to come in.

"I'm sorry for yelling at you earlier," Sayo apologized quietly.

"Haha, it's fine, Sayo. I should've read the room better. I was just surprised to see Okun–sama. Also, I'd appreciate it if you don't share that kind of information again in the future," Ieyasu said, and both he and Sayo burst into laughter.

"So, Okun—sama, can you tell me about your experience and how you met Tatsumi?!" Ieyasu asked eagerly.

I began narrating how I found Tatsumi, explaining that I was helped by the same people who helped him. I also told them how those people were sadists and how we were eventually rescued, leaving out any details about my sexual escapades.

"So you're saying the people who helped you are part of those WANTED people?!" Sayo said a bit too loudly, and I immediately covered her mouth while Ieyasu looked equally shocked.

"Don't say it like that. It's not what you think. We realized how corrupt and horrible the current regime is. The Revolutionary Army is fighting for a better future. They have blood on their hands, yes, but they are opposing injustice," I said.

Sayo sighed, while Ieyasu looked deep in thought, as if wondering whether I was joking.

"Darling, I told you days ago that I'd follow whatever decision you make. If you believe joining the Revolutionary Army is the right choice, then I'm in," Sayo said, holding my hands and staring into my eyes seriously.

We both then looked at Ieyasu, who flinched under our intense gazes.

"What's your decision, Ieyasu?" Sayo asked impatiently.

"Well… I'll join too, since Tatsumi joined," Ieyasu replied, rubbing the back of his head.

"Baka. So you're joining because of Tatsumi and not because of my darling? The same Tatsumi who ran for his life when we were attacked? If it weren't for Okun, we'd be fucking dead, you idiot," Sayo scolded him, but I quickly stopped her.

"It's fine, Sayo. As long as he joins, that's enough. He's an adult, he can make his own decisions," I said, and she fell silent.

"I—I'm sorry, Okun–sama. I didn't mean it that way. I just meant that since everyone else joined, including Tatsumi, I'd be the only one left behind. Sayo misunderstood me," Ieyasu said, and Sayo snorted.

After our discussion, Sayo and Ieyasu packed their belongings, and we left the hotel, heading back to the Night Raid base. When we arrived, both of them were mesmerized by its grandeur, but I didn't give them time to gawk. I led them straight inside and toward Najenda.

Upon reaching her chamber, we found Najenda seated across from Leone. The moment Leone and Sayo saw each other, they both grit their teeth, a clear spark of animosity flaring between them.
