Richard sank into the water, as the entire area was filled with boundless liquid.
It felt… very strange.
He didn't feel like he was underwater at all.
When he breathed, there was actually air.

A small figure made of water emerged, with a pair of bright eyes and a tiny mouth.
Small ripples formed from its mouth, as if it were a fish breathing.
"A brat from the Celestial Clan, hmph, hmph," the figure said, snorting softly with the voice of an annoyed young girl.
Richard was stunned to hear that.
"I'm human," he said.
"A human with Celestial blood, hmph, same thing. But don't worry—since you've come, I will fulfill your request. Tell me what you want to enhance and what you want to sacrifice. Say it all at once."
"Do you know all my elemental affinities, Codexes, and Arcane Arts?" Richard asked.
"Of course. Here, nothing about you is hidden from me."
"I see…" Richard nodded, though he was certain the small creature hadn't detected his System—or it would have asked.
