"So, sir, which direction is the Fire Spirit Kingdom?" Richard asked.
His thoughts had begun to wander. The wine had gotten him drunk almost immediately.
"You'll reach it if you head that way..." The middle-aged man pointed in a certain direction.
"When you see a river of fire, you'll know you've arrived. Just follow the river, and it'll lead you to the capital, Fire Spirit City. However, the Fire Spirit Kingdom is currently at war."
"At war?" Richard frowned.
Is that why the Fire Spirit Queen returned?
"Who are they fighting?" he asked.
"The Star Spirit Kingdom, their neighboring kingdom. It's a power on par with the Fire Spirit Kingdom, although it has only produced a single Grand Sovereign. The Star Spirit King is one of the greatest geniuses in the Land of Spirits today. At the age of twenty, he seized the throne from his elder brother. He's probably the Spirits' only remaining candidate, since the Sun Spirit King has chosen his human wife instead.
