Grant was surprised to hear this. "Is Delaney coming too?"
"Of course she is," Irene replied with a giggle. "But she had to leave early yesterday because of something, and now she's getting scolded by Manager Woods. I don't know what the outcome will be. Manager Woods is just too much. Brother Morgan, you have to comfort her."
Irene was getting angry just thinking about Manager Woods, but there was nothing she could do about it. She had to tell Grant what was going on.
Just as Irene was about to chat with Grant some more, a woman in a suit called out to her from the door. Irene stuck her tongue out at Grant and ran out.
Grant frowned. He had given Delaney enough money to live on, so why was she working here?
"How did you know I was here, Brother Morgan?" Delaney asked as she ran over to him, her cheeks red with surprise. She was also a little scared, afraid that Grant would scold her for working here.
