After this incident, the entire bar fell into silence. Everyone was looking at Grant with awe and keeping their distance. Grant glanced at the waitress Ellie standing beside him, and she collapsed to the ground with weak legs, unable to accept that the boy she had once looked down upon had become an unattainable figure.
"Get out!" Grant coldly ordered.
Ellie was left with no tears to cry.
She regretted her earlier mocking of Grant. Why couldn't she have just been a peaceful waitress? Now she was left with this outcome, and it was too late for her to regret.
No one dared to interject during the whole incident. The bartenders and waiters were especially in awe of Grant, and they had many guesses about him. He was someone who Master Franklin respected and who could easily buy this bar. Was he a big shot from Skylark City? More importantly, he was Delaney's brother!
