"Grant, you're in charge of making dinner tonight," Lydia said, her tone becoming somewhat haughty. Grant knew that Lydia liked to maintain her status and with the Reed Family staying at their villa in Skylark City, she wanted to appear in control. Grant didn't bother arguing and simply nodded before leaving the house.
"Don't worry, in this house, I'm the one in charge," Lydia said, patting her chest and feeling pleased with herself. Even Sullivan, a young man, smiled at her words. Zhao Liubo also nodded in approval, acknowledging that while Grant was capable, Lydia was still in control and had the ability to manage the household.
Daisy walked up to Lydia and whispered, "Mom, Grant is just giving you face. Don't actually boss him around." After speaking, Daisy followed Grant out of the house.
