Chapter 138 - Chapter : 91 : Mirror Dimension

"Nothing, brother." In the training ground, Louis learned to draw circles on the captured images. There was no movement in front of her.

Ren did not speak. He was still thinking about the words Ancient One said.

Aldice said on the side, "You have to use a sling ring to have movement, right? That Mordo said it all when they practiced."

Louis was still turning perseveringly.

They are a group of extraordinary people, so the level of understanding of certain things is much higher. The Ancient One spoke in a riddle-like way. But it allows them to gain more insights.

Elenora said solemnly, "There is no detailed method until now, but the Ancient One's action, I think, can be learned to a certain extent."

It was the thing that pushed Strange to a desperate situation.

Now in the Terra Federation, many secretly awakened to some abilities. Most are outlandish skills, and very few have combat power, but there are ways to overcome them. Although she hasn't seen the specific process of the so-called magic so far, some practices can still be used for reference.

Aldice said in surprise, "You mean, training in extreme environments?

Elenora nodded.

Aldice frowned: "But in this extreme environment, if it fails, the body's functions will be damaged and even result in outright death."

Aldice's meaning is obvious. They haven't fully enjoyed the benefits of being a superhuman, so going to extreme environments to practice is unacceptable to many.

Ren did not join the discussion. It is pointless as everyone thinks differently.

"Stimulation training in extreme environments? Seems like you could try it. I just don't know if Strange succeeded in this environment?"

Everyone turned their attention to the screen.

In the Administration.

Inside the Director's Office, physicists were horrified. A teleportation gate that can be opened anywhere in the universe. This is unbelievable.

Hawking said, "This kind of magic system, let alone fighting, the value of the teleportation alone has far exceeded the level of Terra's existing weapons. It's not about technology anymore. Shuttling to any place with one will is what only a God-like being can do."

They were not interested in Strange's situation; instead, their attention was on the portal.

Johan said, "If you can learn the portal, even if danger comes, you can use the portal to do some strategic things."

Tonio nodded heavily, "It's a pity, but why didn't this group of people show up when the Chitauri invaded? Open a teleportation channel at will. Wouldn't it be easy to teleport the Chitauri away?

The director sighed: "Maybe there was something else at the time. But with this group of people around, I think even if the real danger of eradicating the earth comes, they will help to resist.

Xiaotian frowned and said, "In the Federation, are there other people with similar abilities?"

Generally speaking, many people are unlikely to be in the same period. But if the Immortal Warrior opens a brand new era, then it means that there will also be many past lives.

The director shook his head and said, "No, no one from the same historical period has yet been found. As such, no evidence can be provided."

Strange has been on Everest for a while. It was freezing and snowing, and the temperature was very low. If he doesn't quickly open the gate, there will be problems.

On the other side, Mordo came over and asked the Ancient One, "How is our new recruit?"

Ancient One looked at the open space in front of her and said, "We shall see, any second now."

The two looked at the empty square at the same time. Mordo was about to take out the ring to open the portal and said in surprise, "Maybe I should..."

The Ancient One reached out to stop him, and the two waited. The Ancient One seemed calm, but in fact, the hands behind her back were turning the folding fan.

The audience was also watching nervously. If it hasn't appeared, it possibly represents Strange's death.

Suddenly, yellow lights flickered in the square, and sparks were shining. A teleportation circle opens, and Strange stumbled out of it. Strange's body was freezing at this point as his hair and beard were covered in ice.

Mordo smiled suddenly.

The audience also breathed a sigh of relief.

"Either die or open the teleportation channel, so ruthless!"

"It's horrible."

"Perfect! It worked! This is the first step towards success!"

"Did I fail because I didn't try it out in this extreme environment?"

"I guess it has something to do with talent."

"Will Strange grow later? I don't know what he will be like."

"It's about Tony, who's also part of the Avengers?"

"I don't think Ancient One is worried about his life and death, but is a little flustered?"

"Death and then life!"

The audience was divided.

On the training ground.

The light in Ren's eyes was red. He seems to have found an easy way to improve himself, but it will be painful, though.

After Strange successfully opened the teleportation channel for the first time, the previous biases in cognition had completely disappeared. He believes everything he sees now. Resist the shaking of hands. Trimmed hair and beard. He looks very energetic. He put on the red robe and returned to the library.

"Stephen."

"Wong."

"What do you want, Strange?"

Strange firmly said, "Books on astral projection."

Wong narrowed his eyes and said, "You are not ready for that."

Strange said lightly: "Try me, Beyoncé."

Wong looked at him silently.

"Oh, come on, you've heard of her. She's a huge star, right? Do you ever laugh? Oh, come on, just give me the book."

"No."

Strange tried every means to get the out-of-body book, and Wong always disagreed. Without any choice, Strange thought of a trick.

When Wong was reading books and listening to songs, a small teleportation gate was open in the library. A hand reached in and quickly took away some of the books at high speed. Wong felt something several times, but none were found. Strange even took away the book Wong was reading, and he was taken aback.

"My dear, this is what you have learned."

"It can be seen that Strange's process of opening the teleportation channel is smoother."

"I think the teleportation channel has many functions!"

"Not bad after a shave."

"If you don't give me the book, I have to take it myself."

"Actually, it can be seen that Strange is not a person who sticks to the rules."

"Yeah, I don't think anyone would ever take a book out of a library in this way."

"It's amazing."

Screen jumps.

Under dim lighting, Strange's body was already asleep, but his soul body sat cross-legged and flipping through the various books that he had gotten.

This once again shocked everyone. They didn't expect the soul body to be able to be used like this. If you can read with your soul body while your body rests, wouldn't it be possible to get more improvements in a short period of time?

Almost all Terra citizens who saw this are very interested in it. For a time, everyone was very concerned about the Ancient One and their methods, so attention was intense.

In a short period of time, there are already many vendors making models of the ring for sale on the internet.

The screen rotates.

The Ancient One led Strange through the previous room.

The Ancient One smiled and said, "Once, in this room, you begged me to let you learn. Now I'm told you question every lesson, preferring to teach yourself."

Strange followed the Ancient One and said, "Once, in this room, you told me to open my eyes. Now, I'm being told to blindly accept the rules. That makes no sense."

The Ancient One smiled faintly and said, "Like the rule against conjuring a gateway in the library?"

Strange said speechlessly: "Wong told on me?"

The Ancient One said lightly, "You're advancing quickly in your sorcery skills. You need a safe space to practice your spells."

The Ancient One stretched out her hand and waved toward the air on the side. With gestures, a diamond-shaped mirror appeared strangely in the air. The mirror surface expanded rapidly and kept flowing. The Ancient One lifted her foot and walked in.

Strange touched it lightly and then followed. He looked around in amazement. The environment after entering was almost the same as the environment just now, but with fewer people.

The Ancient One explained: "You are now inside the mirror dimension. The real world isn't affected by what happens here."

The Ancient One continued: "We use the mirror dimension to train, surveil, and sometimes to contain threats."

Strange saw a man pouring water outside. Reached out and tried to touch, but couldn't touch anything.

The Ancient One walked to the edge and said, "You don't want to be stuck in here without your sling ring."

Strange wondered: "Hold on, what do you mean by threat?"

The Ancient One smiled. She patted her hands down and made a sudden lifting action.

Boom! The mirror space that was originally a palace suddenly began to roll violently. All buildings and visible objects were like modular fluidization. Spinning, tumbling, wriggling, combining. Strange stared in shock at what was happening in front of him.

When the surroundings stabilized, the Ancient One said calmly: "Learning of an infinite multiverse, including learning of infinite danger. And if I told you everything else that you don't already know, you would run from here in terror."

The chat watched dully.

"Mirror dimension? Awesome!"

"It's no wonder that when the Ancient One was fighting Kaecilius, it didn't affect the real world."

"Damn!"

"After using this mirror dimension, wouldn't I be able to go to the women's bathhouse and no one would know?"

"Wow, I feel like there are so many places available. Haha."

"Humph! Fortunately, none of you can do it, otherwise the world would be in chaos!"

The screen jumped.

In the training ground, many people conduct drills. Strange looked at the Ancient One and asked Mordo next to him, "So just how ancient is she?"

Mordo, who was arranging the equipment, said, "No one knows the age of the Sorcerer Supreme. Only that she's Celtic and never talks about her past."

Strange said in surprise: "You follow her even though you don't even know?"

Mordo said, "I know she is steadfast but unpredictable. Merciless yet kind. She made me what I am."

Mordo assumed a fighting stance, "Trust your teacher, and don't lose your way."

Strange said, "Like Kaecilius?"

Mordo said, "That's right."

The two fought, and Strange said, "You knew him?"

Mordo replied: "When he first came to us, he lost everyone he ever loved. He was a grieving and broken man, searching for answers in the mystic art. A brilliant student, but he was proud and headstrong. Question the Ancient One; rejected her teachings."

The two separated, and Mordo continued while circling: "He left Kamar-Taj. His disciples followed him like sheep, seduced by false doctrines."

Strange said: "He stole a forbidden ritual, right?"

Mordo said, "Yes."

Strange asked, "What did he do?"

Mordo removed a staff from the shelf, "No more questions."

"What is that?"

Mordo showed Strange the staff horizontally in the air. "That is a question. This is a relic. Some magic is too difficult to sustain, so we imbue objects with it. Allowing them to take the strain that we cannot. This is the staff of the living tribunal."

With that said, Mordo pulled it hard. It was a short staff that suddenly turned into a weapon like a whip as the middle was linked by magic beams. It smashed through the air between swings, then re-shrank into a staff.

"There are many relics, Wand of Watoomb, Vaulting Boot of Valor."

Mage Mordo kicked his heel, and magic sparks flickered.

Strange said: "Really just roll off the tongue, don't they? When do I get my relic?"

Mordo smiled and said, "When you are ready."

Strange said directly, "I think I'm ready."

Mordo smiled lightly and said, "You are ready when the relic decides you are ready. For now, conjure up a weapon."

Strange was helpless. His hands were slowly pulled apart, and multiple magic beams were formed. The two began to confront each other on the training ground.

The screen rotates.

Strange walked into the library. Wong was not in the library today, so he took down the book with the stolen pages and sat in Wong's usual position to read. He took a bite of the apple on the table and opened the booklet. On one page, there was an eye-like pattern drawn.

He paused slightly, and Strange looked up sharply. Right in front of him, on a raised tray, there was a metal eye in the same style as the one on the page.
