Chapter 125 - Cap.114 - Information about Kandor

[...The planet Kandor was a gigantic planet, seen from above, the predominant colors were those of earth and water, which are common, but there were many clouds, making it difficult to see the planet in its entirety.

Due to its proximity to the sun and dense atmosphere, the predominant climate in most of the planet was tropical, with constant rainfall and humid heat.

The fact that much of the heat was trapped on the planet as a greenhouse effect was good news for the inhabitants, the planet rotated at a low speed and the days and nights were incredibly long, with the average time period being 160 hours for each day.

The planet orbited only one sun, yet it had dozens of moons around it, making the nights brighter due to the reflection of sunlight, although the constant rains greatly diminished this light to the point that distant stars were barely visible, except on rare occasions when the sky was clear.

The Kandorians were tall, with skin ranging from wood brown to earthy yellow, their skin displaying distinct patterns, often resembling green and black markings, used as "fingerprints" among them.

They were about three meters long, with four fingers instead of five and they lacked nostrils on their faces, instead having small openings below their collarbones. Their style of clothing was clearly primitive, with furs covering only essential parts.

Their lifestyle is tribal, with thousands of large and small tribes scattered across the planet and their culture preaches an extreme closeness to the planet and other life forms, which explains their aggression towards any creature that degrades nature without reason, the cause of intense conflict between them and the "star people"...]

Black Spider thoughtfully observed the information sent to him, he was approaching the planet Kandor after almost a month of travel.

According to the information, Maktru's deposits are difficult to find due to the planet's magnetic fields and the radiation itself, which is why the equipment only worked at short distances, hundreds of meters at best.

Besides the fact that Maktru is considered a divine metal by the local people, there is a lot of it in the hands of the natives, but it is usually transformed into religious icons and trying to negotiate or take it by force has proven to deepen the conflict between them.

The easiest way out is to attack the tribes, but if discovered, not only would they become enemies of all the tribes on the planet, but they would also be listed as criminals by galactic society.

There are not only explorers on the planet, but also many supportive pacifist organizations, historians, archaeologists and anthropologists... all with genuine attachments to these people.

Black Spider himself had Ames after him, but many of these "humanitarian" organizations are supported by the three universal civilizations.

At least from the outside, these civilizations would have to appear just, so Black Spider had no interest in going head-to-head with these Natives.

How to find the Maktru metal? Please, he's a seer, he just needs to know that something is there and then see himself obtaining it in a possible future, it's like searching for something for years in an instant.

The more variables there are, the harder it is to see something, but here the variables depend on a planet and a precise search for something, making the process much easier.

Leaving that aside, Black Spider turned to his crew. Trax was training in the gravity room, Black Spider managed to buy thanks to his connection with the floating dragon, for some reason, he dragged Rick along with him, much to Rick's displeasure.

Black Spider approached the room, watching the pair training with weights through the glass window. Gravity was around 10 times greater, Trax was lifting a weight twice his own weight while doing squats, while Rick was constantly trembling and doing push-ups.

Black Spider's lips curled in irony, Rick was good at drinking and loafing, but when it came time to train, he still trained without complaining.

The problem was that for him, most of the time was spent drinking, sleeping, or flirting, but Trax was different, the TigerMan spent all his time training, going to Black Spider once a day for an "evolutionary energy bath."

As a result, Rick also discovered this "benefit", so he too received the same treatment. It got to the point where Black Spider simply opened a small-scale evolutionary field on the ship, so he no longer needed to directly assist the pair and the effect of their training improved considerably.

It could be said that Trax was happy during this time, and Rick, although reluctantly, also enjoyed the feeling of getting stronger. A Pugilists joy is summed up in their muscles.

Rick was very close to advancing to Grade B, Trax was also close to Grade A, but the difference between them was significant, while both were on the verge of advancing, Rick could advance in a few months, while Trax might need several years.

This is not a difference in talent, but in the difficulty of advancement between one Grade and another.

Ringo, on the other hand, had bought more than one of these gravity capsules, he sent one to Aquamarine and was training in it with his original body. The work on planet Xenomorph 1 was finished and they had already returned to Aquamarine.

Unfortunately, this model could only increase gravity by about 200 times, and the other functions were very basic, but it was adequate.

Besides the fact that Ringo wasn't training alone, the third clone remained in the Invisible Demon's body, constantly advancing it, to the point where the man had already progressed to Grade B. However, with Ringo's advancement to Grade A, the Invisible Demon's speed was still not enough to help him improve his own speed, so he could only work slowly with it.

Li, Melissa, Eva and Hila also really liked the gravity capsule, if it weren't for Ringo having to use it, Li would want to live there.

Unfortunately, they could barely withstand 10 times the gravity, much less the more than 100 times the gravity that Ringo trained with, so they could only alternate its use.

Unfortunately, these machines are not easy to acquire and Ringo had to pay 5 million Enas for each one!

It was a robbery, but unfortunately knowledge is power, in this case, money.

Fortunately, the genetic serum business was still going well and Emma had found a new source of interest.
