Whitebeard Pirates' base.

"Boom!"

A clash like prehistoric beasts, the world was split in two, the sky cracked.

The cracks appearing on the earth spread for several kilometers, and the massive island vibrated wildly. This was a confrontation between two Four Emperors; even heaven and earth changed color for it.

"Is that madman Kaido of the Beasts really going to fight pops to the death? It's been three days."

"What a suicidal lunatic."

Marco and the other commanders watched with grim expressions as the island continuously crumbled.

The base was definitely beyond saving. Three days and three nights of intense battle had brought this world-renowned large island to the brink of collapse. Numerous mountain peaks had fallen, forests were destroyed, and not a single intact building remained.

"Pops is the strongest; Kaido of the Beasts isn't enough."

The ferocity of the battle made it difficult for these commanders to intervene. They could only watch the great battle on the island from their ships. Of course, with Whitebeard's pride, he wouldn't stoop to ganging up on an opponent in an Emperor-level fight.

"Did we make it in time?"

On the sea beyond the horizon.

"We can't go any further, or we'll be exposed." Lucci said, looking at Law.

Gathering intelligence didn't require getting so close, did it? That was an Emperor's battle; getting this close, a single misstep could mean total annihilation.

"Rumble!"

Beyond the horizon, a massive surge of power shot into the sky, a mushroom cloud explosion rising high. The shockwave spread over ten kilometers to the Marine warships, and the turbulent sea made the warships sway from side to side.

Such power made the CP9 members' faces change dramatically. They had carried out countless missions and assassinated many strong individuals, but they had never interfered in an Emperor's battle. Such power far exceeded their capabilities.

CP9 was strong, but only in the context of the entire sea. In the eyes of the Four Emperors, CP9 was completely insignificant. The current CP9 was far from as strong as it would be six years later, and even the CP9 six years later couldn't shake any of the Four Emperors. The strongest member of CP9 now, Lucci, was only slightly stronger than an ordinary Vice Admiral, and inferior to an elite Vice Admiral.

"Stop." Although Law had only joined CP9 as a support, he was the commanding officer.

He narrowed his eyes, sensing the aura of the Emperor's battle beyond the horizon. It was indeed terrifying. Even with Law's current strength, he felt waves of horrifying power that he couldn't contend with yet.

"The warship is too big a target; we really can't go any further. Otherwise, the Whitebeard Pirates' commanders could easily destroy the warship." The Whitebeard Pirates' strength wasn't just Whitebeard alone; their commanders were also well-known powerhouses of the sea.

"Can you directly connect to the Whitebeard Pirate ship with an Air Door?" Law asked Blueno. If he could discreetly obtain Blackbeard's cellular DNA without anyone knowing, that would be ideal.

"Too far, impossible." Blueno shook his head. His Door-Door Fruit ability allowed for spatial movement, a powerful support ability, but apparently, his Door-Door Fruit ability wasn't strong enough.

"A frontal assault?" Law rubbed his temples hard. He had initially placed too much hope on Blueno's ability. If he could use Air Doors for long-distance spatial travel, he wouldn't have needed to take the troublesome Sea Train from Water 7 back to Enies Lobby in the original story.

"You all wait here, change course, and be ready to leave at any moment." Law commanded CP9 seriously. He himself checked his weapons and preparations.

Law absolutely refused to let go of such a perfect opportunity to obtain Blackbeard's cellular DNA. He had just taken control of Enies Lobby and hadn't even had time to plan how to get Blackbeard's cellular DNA when he received orders from Marine Headquarters, instructing CP9 to gather intelligence on the battle between Whitebeard and Kaido of the Beasts, the two Four Emperors.

A battle between Four Emperors meant that the most troublesome Whitebeard was preoccupied. He just needed to face the commanders and seize the opportunity to snatch Blackbeard's cellular DNA; it wasn't impossible. This was a heaven-sent opportunity; if one doesn't accept what heaven bestows, one will suffer for it. How could he miss it?

"We only need to gather the results of the Emperor's battle, we don't need to go any further, do we? In fact, we're already too close," Lucci frowned. "Are you planning to enter the battle yourself?"

The CP9 members looked at Law in horror. That was an Emperor's battle. He was actually going to intervene?! Was he crazy?! Even an Admiral wouldn't casually enter an Emperor's battle, would they? He'd die. Was gathering intelligence worth risking his life like this?

"Are you trying to tell me what to do?" Law glared at CP9. "Just do what you're supposed to do."

He stomped his foot. With Geppo, Law sped through the air, rushing towards the trembling horizon. The distance was too great, and his Room ability hadn't reached the point where it could cover over ten miles; he could only rely on Geppo.

"He's crazy, truly crazy." The CP9 members watched the departing Law in horror. He was absolutely insane. Kaido of the Beasts was crazy, but he had the strength to back it up. Intervening in a battle between two Four Emperors without Admiral-level strength was simply a lunatic seeking death.

"Lucci, what should we do?"

"What can we do? This is beyond our involvement. All of us joining would only be sending ourselves to our deaths. Just wait. This is Trafalgar D. Law's own doing; even if he dies, it has nothing to do with us."

"What a terrifying little brother. What a pity. He possesses horrifying strength and potential, yet he just can't shake off the arrogance of a rookie." Kalifa sighed.

Watching Law's retreating back, CP9 had already written him off as dead.

"Bang, bang, bang."

Speeding rapidly, Law could already see the continuously crumbling island, faintly discern two monstrous waves clashing and confronting each other, and also see the massive pirate ship anchored on the sea.

"Is that the place?"

Law looked at the pirate ship. But his eyes couldn't help but turn to the Emperor's battle on the island. A battle between two Four Emperors was a confrontation between the strongest individuals in the entire sea. Such an earth-shattering battle was a rare opportunity; how many times in a lifetime could one witness it?
