Celis and Hella exited the small alley and found themselves in a familiar place. They walked along the sidewalk.
Celis asked Hella.
"Where can I find food?"
"We'll look for it at Indomart and relax in front of it while there are chairs, but if we look for it at other stalls, we're afraid the cashier won't let us."
Then Celis asked again while looking left and right, across the highway there was a small island full of trees, covering the land and making Celis curious.
Celis asked again.
"Did you get it?"
They arrived at Indomart and went inside, took some crackers and coffee from the refrigerator, then paid for it.
A female cashier calculates the total price.
"6 packs of crackers and 2 Kopiko, totaling 89,500 Rupiah, sis."
Celis was surprised to hear this, then whispered in Hella's ear.
"Hey, who's paying?"
"I, just relax."
Handed over the money but only 24,000 Rupiah.
The cashier responded gently.
"Hey, sis, sorry. I don't have enough money."
Hella and Celis were silent in embarrassment, the cashier reprimanded them again.
"Sorry, I don't have enough money."
Celis heard someone entering the PIN code for the money from the bank machine, Celis remembered that she had a lot of money in Dana and immediately offered to the cashier.
"Sis, can we use a transfer because we don't have cash."
The cashier replied "okay" with a smile but inside he was groaning and saying "huh".
Moments later after making the transaction, they sat in front of Indomaret.
Opening the snacks and eating them, they shared them with each other and enjoyed the walk, eventually finishing the entire pack. Hella started the conversation.
"Why do you want to be an Antihero?"
Celis answered in a weak voice, deep feelings that had been buried all this time.
"Who knows."
Hella showed a curious expression on her face about it.
"Oh, I see?"
While drinking, lighting a cigarette, he took a puff—smiling faintly and feeling like he had been through it before. Deep down, he said.
"He must have had a hard time."
Hella offered Celis a cigarette and she lit it—puffing, Celis wanted to say something important but she thought.
"Talking about my past won't change anything."
Hella exhaled and looked up at the sky then she turned to Celis asking about something important to her.
"Celis, I want to ask something important."
Celis took his last puff of cigarette, then threw it away carelessly.
"What's that?"
"What is your goal now? Revenge? To be a hero or maybe a criminal?"
Celis was stunned to hear the many choices for her life's purpose but she chose to.
"I just want to meet my ex."
With a wide smile that looked happy at Hella, he asked her purpose, but Hella felt sorry for Celis which was visible from the look in her eyes full of regret and suffering.
Hella and Celis looked back at the street.
Hella answered meekly.
"Gamon huh? I understand."
"I don't know, actually I don't want to remember it anymore but on the other hand I want it back again—huh... I'm selfish."
"Ohhh~~ is that so~~~, that's so dramatic. Then, how do we go to his house now?"
Celis said firmly.
"No. We can't go to his house now."
"Why?"
"Because he lives in Blitar."
Hella was surprised to hear that.
"So you want to go to Java?"
"Yes, I want that. But the problem is I lack information on how to get there."
Hella smiled faintly and whispered something.
"Interesting!"
Even though Celis didn't hear it clearly, Celis was curious as to why he suddenly seemed excited.
Hella got up from her seat and faced Celis.
"I will find out information for you!"
Celis' curiosity was answered.
"Why do you want to?"
Hella grinned then explained.
"I'm just a person who seeks pleasure, because I'm a bored person. So—What do you think?"
Celis considered this, as she was inexperienced. While experience and knowledge are important, Celis considered it a mere oddity and had a plan.
Hella answered ambitiously.
"Yes, I will accept you, but you have to sit down first and listen to me."
Hella complied and Celis firmly explained that.
"You and I seem to have something in common, namely speed. I have my speed, and you have the power of space and time that can eliminate it, you could say it is teleportation. It is very beneficial for you to dig up information, you can come and go as you please. And even though I have high speed—but I don't have experience yet, therefore our first step is to become strong first. We live in a newly created era, we don't know what kind of enemy and what strength we are facing."
Hella burned a cigarette and the same with Celis.
Hella answered calmly.
"I agree with the plan, but what needs to be considered is how we become strong, what path do we take? Ask someone to train us? Or maybe we kill someone who is rumored to be strong?"
Celis answered firmly again.
"Let's be Exorcists."
Hella was shocked to hear, not a word came out of her mouth and Celis explained again.
"In comics, movies, games, anime—They gave me the answer, even though it seems stupid to peg real life and fiction but now we are the fiction because our world has turned into a fantasy that has supernatural powers. My assumption may be wrong but at least there is some truth that there are people who have the power to manipulate corpses, dolls, or maybe they can even summon the ghosts of urban legends that once existed in Indonesia."
Hella was impressed by Celis's thinking, taking the middle step to become strong.
"For example, I immediately looked for information about this."
Celis nodded her head and said
"Yes, it's already afternoon anyway."
Hella responded with a faint smile.
The next day, at 10:35 AM, the bell rang, and Hella went to Celis's class. She asked her classmates.
"Is Celis there?"
But they shook their heads.
"Celis isn't coming down today."
Hella left him, a moment while walking Hella met Mitha, they looked at each other and Mitha stopped, remembering when she met that person.
It just so happened that Mitha wanted to meet Celis and asked about her. Mitha chased after Hella and asked
"Are you Celis's friend?"
Hella answered gently.
"What business do you have with him?"
Mitha was confused by his sentence.
"Celis? I just wanted to ask, did she win or lose yesterday's match?"
Hella responded with a poker face. Hella grabbed Mitha's hand and dragged her somewhere quiet, and this was the street for children who had skipped school.
Mitha panicked with fear but with a little courage forced herself to rebel and managed to get free after several tries.
Mitha, in fear, tried to run away, but Hella appeared in front of Mitha while pointing a shadow knife.
Hella asked firmly.
"Do you want to meet Celis or not?"
Mitha just kept quiet in fear, thinking she couldn't free herself unless she followed his wishes.
Hella turned around and swung the shadow blade from top to bottom, opening a portal to who knows where.
Hella held Mitha's hand again and walked together into the portal.
Arriving at the portal, they saw Celis looking in the mirror wearing formal casual clothes.
Celis saw them in the mirror and greeted them.
"Hey, why did you come all of a sudden?"
Hella pointed at Mitha.
"He wants to meet you."
It just so happened that Celis had just realized it and felt uneasy about her premonition.
"Mitha? What's wrong with you?"
Mitha explained everything.
"And then I was brought here."
Celis was shocked to hear this.
"Hella, don't be like that to him again."
Hella answered.
"Don't be naive, many people are deceived by their meekness."
"Yes, at least he just wanted to ask, but he was treated rudely."
Hella was silent, Celis sighed and Mitha asked.
"Who is he really?"
"He was my opponent in yesterday's sparring match, now we're friends. Also, I was the one who lost yesterday."
"Oh, so why don't you come down from school?"
Hella chuckled looking back.
"Brother? Hahaha..."
Mitha felt uncomfortable.
"Just leave him alone. I have business to attend to, that's why I'm not at school."
"Are you busy? Okay, I'll just go home."
With a bad feeling Celis said
"Yes."
Without a word, Hella did the same thing as before and the portal opened.
Mitha waved her hand and Celis waved back, Mitha then entered and the portal closed.
Celis sighed and turned around, looking back with sharp eyes.
"Now, what do you think? Hella."
