Chapter 101 - Chapter 101: That’s NOT Your Sister

Yami's vision burned like a torch... sharp, focused, scanning the distance.

The few figures lingering around the outer city gates were unusually energetic. Suspiciously energetic.

He lifted his arm lightly.

A thin, bright streak of light flashed across the sky.

In the next moment, Jade Chan's figure flickered into existence in front of Jackie Chan like a phantom.

Of course… it wasn't real.

It was a virtual projection, a visual recording shaped into a three-dimensional image.

"This is… Jade!? And— Viper?!"

Jackie Chan's eyes flew wide open.

Shock, disbelief, and pure panic washed over his face.

On the glowing light-screen, a photo displayed Jade Chan standing beside Viper. After a moment, shimmering text began to appear beneath them.

[Welcome to the Underground City of Multiverse Dungeons]

[The person you are looking for is somewhere inside this mysterious underground labyrinth.]

[Whether you seek to reunite with friends… or to fulfill the greatest wish buried in your heart… conquer the dungeon, and any wish you desire will come true.]

It didn't explain much.

And Yami didn't give Jackie the time to parse it.

He waved his hand, retracting the projection. Jade's figure vanished instantly.

"Where is Jade!? How do I meet her!?"

Jackie's voice cracked as he shouted at the empty sky, desperation echoing through the air.

But the sky gave him nothing.

No answer. No clue.

"Jackie Chan, calm down first."

Uncle patted his shoulder gently. "Jade and Viper are together. That means the danger is small."

"..."

Jackie sagged like a deflated balloon.

"Fine… let's go check out this 'dungeon.'"

But Yami's day was far from finished.

After wrapping up the affairs in the outer city, his eyes turned toward the inner district — scanning like a living radar.

He kept one priority in mind:

The Multiverse Resolution Project.

Strengthening the Demon Slayer world…

strengthening the Jackie Chan Adventures world… and maintaining the synchronization across multiple timelines.

Which brought him to his next targets:

Miyamoto Rei and Busujima Saeko.

Both girls were deep in a sweet, peaceful sleep — the perfect moment for him to reach them through the Sheep Talisman's dream manipulation ability.

With a pulse of magic, Yami connected to Saeko and Rei's minds and stepped into their shared dreamscape.

Of course, Yami's use of the Sheep Talisman wasn't the same as its original form.

His version allowed something far greater:

The power to bend the direction of someone's dream at will.

Rei and Saeko found themselves standing inside a dark, towering palace — an entirely unfamiliar place. A long, endless red carpet stretched before them, leading to a towering staircase.

At the very top—

A throne.

And upon that throne…

Yami Tsukishiro.

He reclined lazily on the seat, relaxed but undeniably in control of the entire world around them.

"Miyamoto Rei. Busujima Saeko. You both performed well," he drawled with a small smile.

"You completed the tasks I gave you perfectly."

His voice carried an unmistakable tone of satisfaction.

Then—

"Even if you hold the status of slaves, as long as you work diligently, I will never be stingy with your rewards."

Rei and Saeko froze.

The word "reward" hit them harder than anything.

Slaves weren't supposed to receive rewards. They expected commands, punishment, maybe praise if they were lucky… but not this.

"So," Yami continued, "tell me — what reward do you desire?"

"Useful gifts? Something more personal? As long as it's reasonable, I will grant it."

Rei and Saeko exchanged looks.

Confusion. Shock. And a tiny flicker of longing.

But they had never expected this situation. They had no idea what to ask for.

They stood frozen like statues.

Yami chuckled softly.

"If you cannot decide now, don't force it. I'll give you time to think. When you finally understand what your heart truly wants, simply call my name in your mind."

He raised his fingers.

Snap.

Space shattered like fragile glass.

The dream dissolved into drifting smoke.

"!!"

Two startled gasps echoed.

Rei and Saeko jolted awake in their separate beds, sitting upright instantly like frightened birds. Both stared down at their trembling hands.

"Was that… a dream?"

They whispered at the same time.

But the weight of that dream — the unmistakable presence of Yami — clung to their minds too vividly. Too deeply.

Almost engraved into their souls.

Both girls hurried out of their rooms — and when they opened their doors at the exact same moment, their eyes met.

And without speaking…

They both knew.

It wasn't an illusion.

"S-Saeko… what reward do you want?"

Rei blinked her jewel-bright eyes curiously.

"I don't know yet," Saeko replied, shaking her head gently. "I'll decide later."

Meanwhile, in the grand throne room of Yami's domain—

Ella, Shion, and Kaen kneeled in front of him with sparkling eyes.

Awaiting their rewards.

Ella puffed her cheeks slightly, her voice soft and pitiful.

"Master… you'll grant all our wishes too… right?"

"Of course," Yami replied with a small smile. "You three worked hard."

He raised his hand.

"What do you desire?"

The girls exchanged a glance.

Then simultaneously—

They knelt lower.

Slowly crawling toward him like three oversized, elegant cats.

Shion and Kaen even lifted their tails instinctively.

"Master… don't move," Shion murmured, her cold voice dripping with unexpected charm as she reached toward him.

"..."

Yami inhaled deeply.

Looking down at the three girls practically fighting over him, he sighed internally.

"…Isn't this supposed to be their reward? Why does it feel like the reward is for me?"

Well.

Reward time it is.

At the same hour—

Potential Academy's training grounds were buzzing with life.

This was the intense period where every student underwent the harshest part of their daily training.

Their curriculum covered everything:

— Combat training personally supervised by Chisato Nishikigi.

— Ability development sessions.

— Gene-lock stimulation drills.

Those like Kirisu Mafuyu, who had not yet unlocked their genetic lock, were forced to face powerful shadow soldiers alone — over and over — to push their bodies and minds to the very brink.

Meanwhile, students who had unlocked their gene locks continued training at an even higher level.

--

Yukino and the others focused their training on direct practical combat, facing each other head-on.

This targeted training program was designed so every student could push their potential to the limit — sharpening instincts, building adaptability, and strengthening overall combat capability.

They were learning to control their power with confidence and precision.

And through clashing with classmates of equal strength, each of them came face-to-face with their weaknesses.

With a behemoth like Star Dome backing them…

And all of them having faced the crushing pressure of real death before…

They had become frighteningly ruthless in actual combat.

"Ha!!"

Yukinoshita Yukino shouted sharply.

She launched the swirling snow in her hand — the flakes compressed into a rapidly spinning spear of ice.

A lethal cone, aimed straight at the abdomen of her older sister, Yukinoshita Haruno.

Haruno barely twisted out of the way, avoiding a fatal strike to the heart.

But the sight alone — a sister trying to pierce her own sibling without hesitation — sent chills down the spine.

"Yukino… w-why… why would you do this to your own sister!?"

Haruno staggered back, her expression a perfect picture of despair and confusion.

She collapsed to the ground, limbs trembling.

Blood gushed from her mouth and abdomen — far too bright, far too fresh.

Her life flickered like a candle caught in a storm.

The strangest part?

No healing starlight came down this time.

No instant regeneration.

No rescue.

"Is… is this really okay…?"

Kojima Kana stood frozen in horror.

Her gentle, soft-hearted nature couldn't process what she was seeing. Her legs trembled as she rushed to Haruno's side.

"Someone—hurry! Call the principal!" she cried, voice shaking.

But the others just watched.

Calmly.

Coldly.

As if they were witnessing a scene in a stage play.

Even Yukino herself stood expressionless, stone-cold, showing no hint of emotion as her "sister" lay dying at her feet.

Kana felt a chill crawl up her spine like a cold serpent.

Why was everyone acting like this was normal?

"W-why… why is everyone so indifferent…?"

Kana whispered, eyes dazed.

She looked like a lost lamb wandering through a blizzard.

Just then—

Hiratsuka Shizuka approached her, letting out a long sigh before resting a hand on Kana's shoulder.

"Kojima. Look carefully. That isn't the real Haruno."

"Eh?"

Kana blinked, confused.

She turned back to the dying Haruno — only to suddenly notice it.

That smile.

That strange, eerie smile curling at the corner of "Haruno's" mouth.

Before Kana could react—

—BOOM.

The body exploded into a burst of shimmering petals.

Kana stared, stunned, as the petals drifted down with unnatural beauty.

"I'm really touched that Kojima-sensei cares about me so much~"

A voice murmured behind her.

Kana froze.

A figure floated up behind her — a girl who looked exactly like Yukinoshita Yukino.

She wore a bohemian grin, her expression playful yet unsettling.

But unlike Yukino's usual calm, icy demeanor…

this one radiated a mischievous, fox-like charm.

"Y-Yukino-chan…? T-Two Yukinos…!?"

Kana could barely breathe.

The resemblance was perfect — but the aura was completely different.

The fake Yukino stepped closer, lips curling.

"Oho~ Yukino-chan… using such harsh attacks on your sister? That'll break her heart, you know?"

The real Yukino's expression darkened like a gathering storm.

Her eyes went icy, sharper than blades.

The snow swirling around her shuddered violently — reacting to her fury.

Seeing this...

Haruno's smirk instantly widened even more.

At that moment—

The door slid open.

"Oh? Yukinoshita Haruno."

Yami stepped in casually, hands in his pockets, eyes glinting.

He had seen the entire scene from the moment he entered.

"Principal!"

Hayasaka Ai and the nearby students immediately stood straighter, bowing their heads respectfully.

They were long accustomed to Yami's unpredictable presence and overwhelming power.

"Oh, principal, you're sharp," Haruno said with a teasing smile. "You saw through me instantly."

A faint shimmer crossed her eyes — admiration mixed with playful malice.

Yami, of course, had not only seen through her clone technique, but had also read her genetic lock at a glance.

[Name] Yukinoshita Haruno

[Rank] First Level

[Race] Human

[Meme Type]

C-Level: Gene Lock – Masked Dancer (LV1)

[Abilities]

• Multi-Person Dance — Create phantom clones.

• Dance of Masks — Transform into another person completely.

The Haruno that "died" just now?

Just a clone created through her multi-dance technique.

The Yukino standing earlier?

Another disguise formed through her Mask Dance.

Now, Haruno lifted the hem of her skirt slightly, her playful smirk returning.

"Principal~ don't you want to see what cute underwear Yukino-chan is wearing today?"

She blinked up at him deliberately — a clear provocation.

Immediately—

Yukino's temperature dropped below freezing.

Her fury erupted like a blizzard.

The snow around her spiraled violently, reacting to the emotions she tried to suppress.

Yukino had had enough of her sister using her face for pranks.

Seeing the situation turning dangerous—

Haruno knew she crossed a line.

She quickly dispelled her disguise, her body melting back into her real form — Yukinoshita Haruno.
