They can also be Passive or Active. Passive skills signify sword technique, knowledge, etc.
An example of a Passive skill would be Cooking, it signifies the level of cooking skill and knowledge that a being has.
An example of an Active skill would be 'Fire manipulation', it signifies a magical ability or a spells.
