Chapter 49 - Vampire Detective (31)

The Red Light Task Force is just for show.

This was the conclusion I reached after hacking into Moon Ji-Hyeok's smartphone and the police department's computers.

The Red Light Task Force was a temporary unit created by the police to take credit if the Black Cross Society captured or killed Jeokgwang.

In other words, it was established to steal the credit.

The detectives assigned to the task force were skilled, but they were no match for Jeokgwang. They were ordinary humans with no specialized training.

Since the Black Cross Society operates in secrecy, they doan't care about public recognition.

In short, my focus shouldn't be on the Red Light Task Force, but on the Black Cross Society, which is secretly hunting me. And the National Intelligence Service is actively assisting the Black Cross Society in their search.

I should hack into the Black Cross Society's headquarters whenever I have time. It would be good to know how their investigation is progressing.

With my hacking skills, I have the upper hand when it comes to information.

But who would have thought this woman was part of the Task Force?

Choi Sunmi.

Team Leader of Support Team 4 at the Korean headquarters of the Black Cross Society.

A graduate of Oxford University, she's only 28 years old but already holds a team leader position. She's an elite among elites.

Her administrative skills are certainly impressive. But this woman... despite being a member of the Black Cross Society, she shows absolutely no sense of mission.

The real-life actress who played Choi Sunmi was Song Dabom. Although her acting career was short, her striking beauty made her memorable.

In the original drama, Choi Sunmi was a minor character who appeared in the later episodes. She played the role of a traitor who sold information to vampires for money. She eventually clashed with Moon Ji-Hyeok and, moments before her death, desperately begged for her life.

Most members of the Black Cross Society shared a sense of mission: "We work for the sake of humanity." Choi Sunmi, however, lacked this conviction entirely.

Moon Ji-Hyeok didn't kill Choi Sunmi; he only knocked her unconscious. Then the Black Cross Society captured her. Though she survived, her role ended with her imprisonment.

Thanks to her exceptional looks, Choi Sunmi briefly became a hot topic when the drama aired.

During an interview on a variety show, Song Dabom described Choi Sunmi as a character who valued her own life above all else.

In essence, Choi Sunmi was a woman who prioritized herself above all else, followed by money. Love for humanity? Hatred for vampires? Such sentiments were nonexistent. The reason Choi Sunmi worked for the Black Cross Society was simply because they offered a higher salary than any major corporation.

Even if I can't trust the other Black Cross Society members, Choi Sunmi can be manipulated.

A smile crept across my lips. Unable to conceal my amusement, I began formulating a plan.

The first thing I need to do is find out what Choi Sunmi's pussy tastes like.

[Condition met.]

[Unlocking the 'Shooting' Trait.]

[Shooting Lv.1]

[Your shooting skills have improved.]

"Excellent."

Before executing my plan, I had finally unlocked the Shooting Trait.

I immediately tested the effects of the Shooting Trait. The method was, of course, to shoot a gun.

In a moderately deserted mountain area, I tested my shooting skills with a silenced pistol.

The results were excellent.

My shooting skills, which had been nothing short of abysmal, had improved dramatically a complete transformation.

Within 10 meters, my accuracy is over 70%.

This was against moving targets. I released a rat to test it.

Beyond 10 meters, my accuracy gradually decreases.

Even with an accuracy rate above 50%, I was more than satisfied.

I want to raise my Shooting Level, but I'm out of Points.

Use 50 Points to increase Shooting Lv.1?

[Insufficient Points.]

A whopping 50 Points were required.

But that's not even a lot.

The Shooting Trait was far more powerful than I'd imagined. Its influence wasn't limited to firearms alone.

It affected all throwing and shooting actions rock throwing, knife throwing, rubber band shooting, and more.

Plus, my gaming skills have improved too. My aim is incredible. Thanks to that, I climbed three Tiers and reached Platinum.

But climbing from Platinum was proving to be a real challenge.

I played well, but my team luck was utter shit. I kept getting matched with teammates who had dogshit aim. Even when I gave them clear orders, they wouldn't listen. This game is a fucking joke with its garbage team luck.

Still, the Shooting Trait is amazing.

If I could, I'd level it up to 5, but I didn't have enough Points.

Alright, time to put the plan into motion.

[Starting the game.]

Inside Vampire Detective, I slowly opened my eyes.

I was in the emergency staircase of an apartment's underground parking lot. I'd slipped into the parking lot undetected by the CCTV cameras. I was wearing jeans and a hoodie, with a clown mask and a red wig covering my face. I was currently in Jeokgwang mode.

I pulled out my smartphone to check the time.

6:52 PM.

They should be arriving soon.

From inside the emergency stairwell, I peered through the door crack at the parking lot. It was rush hour, and cars were streaming into the lot.

Most people took the elevator, but occasionally someone would use the emergency stairs. Whenever they approached my stairwell, I would slip down to the basement level to hide.

There it is. The white Audi A4.

I pulled up my hood and moved toward the car. I had already mapped out the blind spots of the underground parking lot's CCTV cameras. My face would remain hidden.

I approached the rear passenger door of the car, which had just finished parking.

Hacking successful.

You have 20 minutes to control the vehicle.

The rear door unlocked. I yanked it open and climbed inside without hesitation, settling into the seat directly behind the driver.

"Huh?"

Choi Sunmi, the short-haired woman behind the wheel, was startled by the sudden turn of events.

"Quiet down, Choi Sunmi. Don't make a scene. You don't want a bullet hole in you, do you?"

True to her sharp intellect, Choi Sunmi remained composed. Though her hands trembled on the steering wheel, her expression remained ice-cold.

She glanced at me through the rearview mirror, her face draining of color.

"...Jeokgwang?"

"That's right. I'm Jeokgwang. And this gun is very real. Oh, your hand's reaching for your smartphone? My finger's tightening on the trigger too."

Choi Sunmi gripped the steering wheel tighter. Just as she could see me in the rearview mirror, I could see her face reflected back. I grinned, brandishing the gun.

"...Why? Why are you suddenly targeting me? I'm not a vampire hunter."

"You're a colleague of the Hunters. Team Leader Choi Sunmi of Support Team 4."

"...Are you planning to kill me?"

"If I wanted you dead, I would have killed you the moment I saw you. It's not too late now. But if you cooperate, I have no intention of killing you."

"What do you want? Information about the Black Cross Society?"

"Let's move first. Drive where I tell you. Don't try anything foolish if you don't want to die."

"..."

Choi Sunmi pressed her lips into a firm line and started the car. She stepped on the accelerator and drove out of the underground parking lot, her driving skills quite impressive.

"Jeokgwang, I'm willing to cooperate with you. I also have a considerable amount of information."

"I know."

"...Then, could you please move the gun from my side?"

I reached out and pressed the muzzle against her right side, a clear warning against any foolish moves.

From Choi Sunmi's perspective, having a gun pointed at her must have been terrifying. A sudden jolt of the car could easily cause me to accidentally pull the trigger.

"What reason do I have to trust you?"

"...You know I can't escape. I'm just an ordinary human, not a Hunter trained for combat. And you should know I'm ambitious.'

"Still, I can't just lower my guard.."

"..."

Choi Sunmi pressed her lips tightly together, than she let out a sly smile that somehow only made her look even more beautiful. Her looks were nearly on par with Hera's, but her breasts were even larger.

E-cup. Definitely. Damn. So fucking hot.

My cock was starting to stir. It was issuing commands: Grope those breasts now! Check out those nipples!

Squeeze.

Driven by surging lust, my grip tightened on the gun, the barrel digging into Choi Sunmi's flawless side.

"... Put it down!"

As the car came to a stop, Choi Sunmi suddenly slipped off her tight skirt and tossed it onto the passenger seat.

Her long, slender legs, encased in coffee-colored pantyhose, were revealed. A black thong barely concealed her intimate areas.

"...Is this enough view? Put the gun away already..."

I was surprised by her sudden change of action, it doesn't suit her personality I know from the show.

Maybe she have some kink?

"Alright. Oh, turn right there."

I removed the gun from Choi Sunmi's side, but kept it firmly in my hand. Leaning back in the backseat with my legs crossed, I issued commands with casual authority.

"Left. We're almost there."

"Why... why here?" Choi Sunmi's eyes darted around.

We arrived at an old detached house with a private parking lot. The building, constructed in the early 2000s, wasn't particularly large, and the parking lot barely accommodated a single car.

The surrounding buildings were equally dilapidated, and the neighborhood saw little foot traffic.

Choi Sunmi could never have imagined such a neighborhood existed in Seoul.

"Don't worry I'm not killing you, I know you seem to have your own goal by seducing me. Get out of the car."

"..."

Without answer, Choi Sunmi exit the car without the skirt. After confirming she was out, I pocketed her smartphone and got out myself.

It was October, the time of year when the weather was rapidly turning chilly. Choi Sunmi shivered against the biting wind.

"Go inside through the front door. The passcode is 679867."

This detached house was my property. Land and building prices in this neighborhood were significantly lower than elsewhere. More importantly, a family murder had occurred here a year ago, causing the property value to plummet.

Choi Sunmi hesitated, reluctant to enter the dilapidated house that exuded an ominous atmosphere. The thought of being tortured inside likely crossed her mind.

"Stop dawdling," I growled, pressing the gun barrel firmly against her buttocks and slowly sliding it upward.

The cold metal, capable of killing with a single touch, traced a chilling path up her spine, stopping at the nape of her neck.

"Let's move quickly. There aren't many people living in this neighborhood, but it's not completely deserted. If anyone sees us, I'll have no choice but to kill you."

In the end, Choi Sunmi entered the password and stepped inside the house.

The air inside was cold, typical of an unoccupied home.

I pushed her into the living room, which was completely empty.

"To the right. That's the master bedroom."

Choi Sunmi opened the master bedroom door and froze.

The room was quite spacious, with a large bed at its center.

"Seem. You also have the same idea with me."

She reached out to my face, than look at me with desire.

"You almost scare me to dead, If you have said something, I will not be as shocked."

"What's the fun on there? And don't think I don't know you're trying to temp me to work for you."

I reached out with my left arm, grabbed Choi Sunmi's chest, and pulled her toward me.

"Aaaah! S-So you know... "

Her large E-cup breasts felt even more exquisite than I had imagined. The bra was a slight annoyance, but even that added to the pleasurable sensation.

I smirked at Choi Sunmi's sly face.

The cold city woman was gone; she was now just a seductress, trying to sell her body to gain my favor.

"So should we seal the deal?"

"Remember! No backsies!"
