"Fire God"
The Water God stood behind the Fire God, looking at his back with deep concern.
The Fire God's fists repeatedly clenched and unclenched.
"Besides, you've killed innocent people too, haven't you?" Future Boruto continued. "There are still experimental records of you all kept here."
Back when they were transformed into demons and imprisoned, living humans had been thrown to them.
"We only ate them because we were starving..."
The Fire God trembled as he spoke.
"Is that so?"
Future Boruto looked at the Fire God.
He had once heard Mitsuki say that to demons, human flesh was an unparalleled delicacy.
"That's right! We ate them!" The Fire God no longer trembled. He raised his head, revealing a twisted expression to Future Boruto as he shouted, "It was so delicious! So delicious that just getting close made us drool! We regretted it every time afterward, but we just couldn't help ourselves!"

Future Boruto continued, incisively analyzing the thoughts of the four demons before him.

At the moment the Fire God responded, Future Boruto's right hand swiftly swung the Kusanagi Sword, slicing off the Fire God's head in an instant.
The Fire God's severed head rolled across the ground.
"Fire God!"
The Water God cried out, staring at the now-headless body.
The corpse swayed a few times, then collapsed to the ground.

Raging water currents of light blue surged around the Water God as he charged at Future Boruto.

Future Boruto declared as he stared down the charging Water God, issuing final judgment.

Through the Flying Thunder God formation, Mitsuki received a small black box that Orochimaru had sent over.
Opening the box, inside was a black, gelatinous substance that seemed almost alive.
Mitsuki instinctively swallowed, then reached out and gently touched the black goo with his index finger.
The moment he touched it, the substance instantly wrapped itself around his body.
"My name is Venom!"
After being possessed by Venom, Mitsuki's height grew close to two meters, and his body bulged with explosive muscle.
"It's about time I killed this country's leader. I bet they'll be absolutely delicious."

Tetsubaki was repeatedly swinging her sword.
"One last strike!"
With a final swing, she took a deep breath and reached for a towel to wipe the sweat from her brow.
"I've found you, Lady Tetsubaki."
Hearing an unfamiliar voice, Tetsubaki furrowed her brows and looked toward the entrance of the dojo.
A pitch-black monster stood there, completely blocking out the sunlight.

"My name is Venom. I've come here to devour you!"
Venom opened his mouth wide, revealing a grotesquely long tongue and rows of razor-sharp teeth.
"Devour me?" Tetsubaki narrowed her eyes. "Now I remember—recently, there have been rumors about man-eating demons in the Land of Iron. I thought they were just stories, but it turns out they're real. Fine. I'll kill you right here."
Tetsubaki raised her sword and pointed it at Venom.
The two charged at each other and collided violently.
Although she blocked Venom's punch with her sword, the sheer force sent both her and the weapon flying, slamming her into the wall before she finally came to a halt.
She used her blade to prop herself up from the ground.
After that first clash, Tetsubaki fully realized how powerful her opponent was.
If she tried to fight head-on, she would definitely lose.
Venom charged again, fists raised.
As his punch came in, Tetsubaki slid underneath Venom's legs, positioning herself behind him.
Such a massive body couldn't possibly be very agile.
That meant she had a chance to kill him before he could turn around.
"Flash Strike!"
She drove her sword straight at Venom's back.
But the black substance coating Venom's body instantly wrapped around her blade.
She couldn't advance or retreat.
"She's a high-ranking shinobi from the Hidden Leaf Village. Lady Tetsubaki is in the eastern dojo—you'll find her there."
Upon learning Tetsubaki's location, Boruto led Mitsuki and headed straight there.
"Tetsubaki, this is the end!"
Venom turned around and lunged to bite her.
"Rasengan!"
A blue Rasengan slammed into Venom's open mouth, blasting him away with immense force.
"You two—are you from the Hidden Leaf?"
Tetsubaki looked at Boruto, who had landed beside her.
"Yeah."
Boruto nodded, keeping a firm gaze on Venom as he got up from the ground.
Venom stretched his jaws with a grinding creak.
"Boruto, this thing is extremely dangerous," Mitsuki warned, watching Venom rise again.
"Yeah… That attack just now didn't even hurt him. Could it be that he's immune to ninjutsu?" Boruto's expression grew tense as he analyzed their opponent.
"This monster's immune to sword attacks too," Tetsubaki added, describing what had happened in their clash.
"In that case, doesn't that mean no kind of attack can work against him?" Mitsuki said.
There was no time to think further—Venom's right hand transformed into an axe and came slashing at them.
"Everyone, scatter!"
Boruto, Mitsuki, and Tetsubaki spread out into a triangular formation, surrounding Venom.
Mitsuki lashed out with his snake sword, coiling it around Venom's neck.
Venom grabbed the snake sword wrapped around his neck.
Mitsuki's eyes changed—one eye turned crimson, and four tail-like appendages burst from his lower back, piercing into the ground to anchor him. But even then, Venom still managed to drag Mitsuki along, only slightly slowed.
"Chidori Stream!"
Electricity surged around Boruto's Kusanagi Sword as he slashed at Venom's back.
But it was strange.
It didn't feel like cutting into flesh—it felt like slicing through water.
And you can't cut water.
"His essence is water? If that's the case—Chidori!"
Boruto released the sword hilt. Blue lightning erupted from his right hand with a piercing chirp of birds.
Venom's body began to ripple in reaction to Boruto's jutsu.
"Hmm?"
Venom seemed to notice and shifted his focus, turning from Mitsuki to Boruto.
"Boruto!"
Even though he took a direct punch, the injury wasn't too serious.
