His eyes flickered red, not fully shifting, but enough to show how close he was to losing control, and in that moment, Axel felt the weight of the choice he had made not even an hour ago.
Ivan wasn't walking toward him. He was walking straight toward Dallas, and it was painfully obvious he wasn't about to congratulate him on his new relationship.
"Ivan, I'm not doing this with you right now," Dallas said before Ivan could get any closer, his voice firm. He wasn't shouting, but the warning in his tone was clear. "Axel made his decision himself, and you should respect that."
